A Whisper for Twisted Evolution

In the middle of a vacant street with a bus terminal on the right that displayed the Yukari Sweat advertisement within the glassy surface, Agano and his partner robot, Ryuzen were grouped by The Shogun Robots in a circle. An army of Shogun Robots consisting of around six members charged forward in their direction.

The Shogun Robots plunged their blazing sword in an impaling position as it dashed further onto the cornered enemy. Agano drew the newest paper card with the black-ink Kanji said, "Intangible" and tossed it onto Ryuzen's left foot.

Feathery-yellow energy enveloped the entire bulky body of Ryuzen and popped out the black-ink Kanji on the orb within the core part. A kanji that said "Intangible" was the one written in the middle of the orb, encouraging The Bulky Robot to give a darting stare towards the surroundings.

Ryuzen immediately wrapped around the metal hand at Agano's stomach as bluish-sparkles blew out beneath the bulky feet, letting it levitate. The Onmyouji quickly hoisted the same paper card with his partner's robot and latched the card onto his left waist, readying himself to take a flight.

The Bulky Robot swiftly fled onto one of the shogun robots that was closer to impale the stomach. However, both Ryuzen and Agano phased through either the shogun robot who swung the blazing blade like an intangible as they flung together.

The enveloping-yellow energy on The Onmyouji alongside his partner robot vanished after activating the side effect of the card. The Bulky Robot quickly landed down on the sidewalk across the main road by dissolving the sparkles beneath the feet.

Although Agano and Ryuzen entered a brief safe zone from The Shogun Robot's who began to turn around at them, he omitted yellowish energy within his grip. The Omnyouji swiped up the gripping hand, forcing the energy to take the shape of another paper card.

Then, Agano flipped the newest paper card as his eyes caught the glimpse of the kanji being written within. The written word on the Kanji, "Sleep" was pinned by The Onmyouji especially when The Shogun Robot dashed onto their direction with glamouring green waves covering the entire body.

"Hello Agano, be aware that there will be more Shogun Robots coming to you. especially when you look at the sky." A warning voice of Mistress Foreseen echoed through Agano's head.

Agano heedfully gazed at the azure sky above and gasped in despair as he witnessed an upcoming danger. Another group of ten Shogun Robots hovered in the sky with a dashing wave enveloped their whole body and slowly dropped like a comet.

"Thank you for sharing…the information, Mistress Foreseen." Agano thanked the telepathic Mistress Foreseen with an anxious tone, "Anyway, did you know what happened to Southern Shield?"

The telepathic voice of Mistress Foreseen exhaled the burdening air away, "Unfortunately, Southern Shield was trapped inside some…pocket dimension."

Agano nodded, "I see and he's quite lucky that Sparror is not here."

"All of this army and his pesky trick will be done much easier than this," Agano exclaimed.

"I'm aware of that too." Mistress Foreseen replied, "However, I believe we can solve this problem without him."

The Onmyouji reluctantly sighed and shook his head in bitter bothersome with more army appeared within his sight. Agano glanced at his partner robot who heaved the clenching fist below the metal chin with two approaching forces, initiating a rallying charge.

"Very smart move, Maduruma." Agano sarcastically murmured, "Distracting me and Southern Shield…so..you.can.."

Agano grunted, "Have a new enforcer or leader for your twisted dream."

The paper card he still held was thrown and latched onto The Bulky Robot's back, letting the yellow energy envelop the entire body in an instance. The almost everlasting battle between The Onmyouji accompanied by his partner's robot, Ryuzen against the army of Shogun Robot either from above the sky and the ground level that kept dashing forward.

"Chemistra, please be very careful with him," Agano mumbled, wishing his fellow friend luck on facing The Machine Herald himself, Maduruma.

The rough battle on the rooftop concluded with Chemistra being blasted down by the sudden explosion and creating a human-shaped hole the same size as her. Furthermore, The Chemist landed on a room with white becoming the dominant color on the whole interior from down to up.

The building itself had a couple of small active urban screens being planted on almost every middle spot. Most of the horizontal urban screen itself displayed an advertisement of a purple woman, opening a cheerful smile before revealing the true face beneath the human skin.

A black-metal, robotic face with gleaming blue light shone on its eyeball was presented on the scene. The face soon was closed once again with the sudden appearance of swarming, blue waves that reshaped into a pinkish older woman's face.

Towering holographic statues with magenta as the chosen pick for the color majority stood valiantly. A statue of a tall-naked woman gave a wide grin to the whole interior, even though half of her face unveiled the smooth, yet thick robotic part.

The statue also accompanied Chemistra who placed both of the metal hands onto the floor. The Chemist pressed her metal hands on the ground till the elbows part trembled shortly before a single tap by using her feet, helping her to gain a steady standing position.

Chemistra flipped her around the opened-metal palm and sharply darted in an observative demeanor as she put her head closer. Puzzling, unsure, and deep sorrow were the only thing The Chemist caught for the result with her winced gleaming purple eyes.

Hence, Chemistra closed her eyes that enlightened a small part of the room with her mind flashed a special picture. A special picture of her in the old-hoodie-like uniform held an old woman with a large-hole wound on the chest's hand.

The Chemist also in this picture also had the mask removed in order to let Misaki, drop a despairful tear. She gave a whimpered expression resembling a person who didn't want to lose the beloved.

The old woman could only stroke Misaki's cheek before letting out a gleeful smirk. The Chemist was indeed flabbergasted as she witnessed the woman slowly closing her eyes and the breathing faded away.

Afterward, a flash of blinding light outshone that moment and brought back Chemistra into the real world by her opening the gleaming eyes. The gleaming eyes of sorrow appeared as she surveyed her entire metal body once again.

Chemistra put down her metal hand and blew a reluctant sigh when she glossed over at the sky-above view briefly. Wondering her current state of converting herself into a machine or not with closing her eyes for filling some refreshment.

The brief-break time had reached its peak with the presence of beaming green light, gently touching the entire metal skin of hers. Chemistra steered her attention at the light whereabout and furrowed heedful eyes as she caught a glimpse of a green door popped, wavered the portal-like surface for greeting her.

The Chemist hoisted the needle fingers in a thrusting back position especially with the silhouette of a hovering man emerging within her eyes. She pressed both enlightened kneecaps after obtaining a crystal-clear picture of the figure.

The figure was none other than Maduruma who shared a burst of intriguing laughter to his feisty, enforce candidate. The Machine Herald extended a welcoming arm towards Chemistra before the green door vanished without any traces detected in the naked eyes.

Therefore, Chemistra took a retreating step for keeping a safe distance from The Machine Herald himself. Bitter suspicion kicked in her mind when The Chemist noticed Maduruma's shoulder still resonating the smooth, gray wave.

"Please, let's continue our conversation once again, Chemistra or should I say, Misaki Kamiya." Maduruma blurted out with heated excitement.

The Chemist was frozen in dreadfulness either on hearing her real name or Maduruma's intriguing demeanor he showed in a form of lending an opened-persuasive hand. Rapid breathing emerged with franticness that boiled her entire body that made both of her kneecaps tremble.

"What kind of trick do you use to know my real name?!!" Chemistra demanded an answer with an enraged tone.

Maduruma giggled, "Chill my friend. The trick that I'm using is simple, the explosion that knocked you out."

"However, that's not what I wanted to discuss." Maduruma initiated a new topic of conversation towards The Chemist, "Instead, another convincing talk about you, Misaki."

Chemistra grunted with spiteful enrage scorched through her mind whenever the name Misaki was mentioned by Maduruma. The Chemist witnessed The Machine Herald approach her and a flash of memory about the old woman she held dearly appeared shortly, guessing which main topic would be uplifted.

"Do not dare try to start talking about my mother's death!!" Chemistra scolded with an infuriating tone.

Maduruma chuckled, "Of course I'm going to start it from there. Your mother's death is the true reason why you wanted to cybernizing yourself. Moreover, you also wanted to repress your human emotion."

"An emotion that you think of as the source of weakness for not continuing your heroic duty." Maduruma uttered happily, "However, you also conflicted because…Papa didn't approve of it.

He even so frigthen with you that your memory remained capture that moment very clearly. Maduruma added, Especially when I just let out a single mention.

Maduruma sighed,"How unfortunate and sad at the same time. That's one of the reasons I'm truly grateful to have augmented myself into perfection. I don't have to endure the agonizing or even almost everlasting pain. Instead, I keep my emotion smoothly stable like this"

The Chemist quickly rested down the anticipative needle fingers as she fully succumbed in deep sorrow. A picture of her father gave a frightened frown about his daughter's revelation still haunted Chemistra till this day and the remainder from the joyful Maduruma, let it loose.

Continuous trembling shivered through both of Chemistra enlightened needle fingers after the flashing picture of her father's disappearance within the mind. She even let out a despairful frown as scanned over onto her metal arm back and forth.

While Maduruma hovered forward alongside the burst of cheering laughter was announced throughout the surroundings. Gleaming blue light illuminated within the gaping lines of his augmented hand that he quickly flipped around for preparing another surprise.

"Let me share with you some wonderful facts about the benefit of becoming the enforcer for my dream." Maduruma presumed the conversation by bringing an argument with a delightful tone. "Simple, you just make all the criminal and everyone opposing become a slave or just a soldier because in augmentation, we can control them like a puppet in a string."

Maduruma chuckled with fiery excitement, "Imagine the various possibilities of you wanting to cyberize the world, especially on emotion. Conflicted feelings, insecurities, dilemmas, and even dreaded fear, will be easier to maintain because we don't feel any remorse."

"You don't have to feel regret anymore, especially on telling the truth that you wanted to become a cyborg." Maduruma exclaimed with sparkling confidence, "Instead, you fully embrace it."

Hence, Maduruma fled directly in front of Chemistra who was consumed by shrouding despair as she gazed down at shiny white on above with a winced. Thrilling and joyfulness heated up within The Machine Herald mind's as he caught The Chemist went deeper into the sorrowful influence.

The Machine Herald pinned closer his one eye towards Chemistra face before he landed a gentle pat onto her shoulder with his other hand. The Chemist steered at the augmented hand in a disgruntled demeanor especially as she felt an unpleasant atmosphere on watching Maduruma's who literally blocked her front sight.

Unnerving-shaky hands were endured by Chemistra as her metal shoulder was still in the clutches of Maduruma's augmented hand and he let out a convincing giggle. Therefore, The Chemist took another brief sigh to relieve herself of handling this direct confrontation.

"So, Chemistra, end this battle and let us begin our work for the true evolution of humanity." Maduruma persuaded.

"Did you agree with that?" Maduruma added with a jolly, cheerful tone, "This is also the best step for you desire to improve yourself."

Chemistra could only close her enlightened eyes for assembling an effective plan of countering this situation. She slowly opened the needle finger and lined up four of them in a straight-gunpoint position, readying herself for declaring another surprise attack on The Machine Herald.
