Outsmarting a Conflicted Opponent

"As I told you again, I will never join or be convinced by you!" Chemistra scolded harshly, "So, back off from my sight!!"

The Chemist hoisted the needle fingers as a bold decision for the next steps had finally enlightened her mind. Smooth-purplish sparkle was fired beneath each of the needle fingers that shone the bright-violet light, preparing another striking launch.

Chemistra pressed both of the metal kneecaps and soared a gleaming purple light within her transparent-like metal body. She darted an assured stare at Maduruma who frowned a hapless one eye after noticing his future enforcer declared a disagreement.

Hence, Chemistra dashed back as the purple wave pulled her behind the back and freeing herself from the gentle clutching of her hand and Maduruma. The Chemist propelled the needle fingers that soon fled altogether when she still remained in the air.

Maduruma shook his head in bitterness and declared a brief alluring giggle with four needle fingers rallied onto him and vanished in the naked eye. He raised one of his hands with the gleaming blue light on every gaping line available on the spot.

Ball-shape blue barrier bloomed through Maduruma's hovering body before it morphed into a wavering explosion. An explosion that halted the spawning needle fingers on almost every spot included, north to south, west to east.

All of those needle fingers were strangled by bluish energy and struggling to fly further. Maduruma surveyed the whole needle fingers that couldn't lift a motion before he also found an intriguing discovery in the far-front.

He watched Chemistra trembling the entire metal-limbs as her whole body was covered by bluish energy, shaping into warm cloth. The Machine Herald let out a gleeful chuckling and hovered closer to get a crystal-clear picture of The Chemist enraged furrow.

"Chemistra, please do not deny your hidden desire." Maduruma persuaded with a cheerful tone, "Embrace that we are the true evolution and we must turn all of the humans like us."

"Efficient, diligent, and consistent on almost everything." Maduruma added, "That's a very important thing that humans couldn't ever have."

Maduruma chortled and raised the metal hand in a prideful demeanor, "Besides, emotion is just the biggest flaw of humanity itself. Something that actually becomes that dooming their miserable life."

However, Chemistra's persistence still stood strong as she forcefully pushed her whole metal body to move forward. The Chemist pinned bloodshot eyes towards The Machine Herald who was gasping in surprise.

Maduruma witnessed the thick-bluish cloth on Chemistra crumbling pieces by pieces like an iceberg sprinkling its shards. He initiated a slow, retreating hovered when more pieces of the cloth rained down onto the ground, watching The Chemist push her body with a heated growling.

The Machine Herald flipped around his hand that summoned a glowing blue light within the gaping lines, shining up the cautiousness from watching Chemistra sluggishly breaking free. Thrilling, distorting laughter was released as he watched his stubborn enemy successfully shattered the cloth on her hand with a rushing push.

"I like your everlasting fighting spirit, breaking free from that barrier isn't easy, my friend." Maduruma murmured happily, "Especially on trying to prove a point that you're better than me."

Maduruma giggled, "Ah yes that kind of attitude."

Then, another hand bluish cloth was shattered and rained down on the scene as he watched Chemistra thrust the metal hand forward, the same hand that already regained all the fingers back. She even initiated a headbutt in the air that freed the straining blue cloth on both of neck and head at the same time.

Chemistra propelled both of the needle fingers in the straight-line soothing position when she pinned closely her eyes. Heating enrage boiled through The Chemist's tough mind with the needle fingers vomited out a gusting, purplish smoke on the below parts.

"Impressive, that you already regained both of your hands to move and shoot those chemical fingers with ease." Maduruma praised with an excited tone.

Chemistra grunted in infuriating annoyance, "You better shut up rather than pursue me."

"I shall prove I'm better than you, cybernetic monster." Chemistra exclaimed with a firm, yet irritating tone and growled, "Right now!!"

Thus, ten needle fingers were launched altogether at once like a missile barrage towards the alluring Maduruma. The Machine Herald projected out a beaming orange construct in the shape of a tennis ball and sluggishly stretched down to form a new weapon.

The new weapon he chose for the forging section was a holographic long-katana with a silk-clean blade levitated beside him. With Maduruma's one eye rotated to open a yellowish background, he swiftly spun the augmented head in a full circle and captured intriguing, yet alerting things.

A sight of ten needle fingers spawned near him in full circle frowned with excitement within his one eye as if he was like prey being surrounded by a group of predators. The levitating sword briskly fled beneath the plate of The Machine Herald and lashed out a piercing-light explosion.

Hence, an orange explosion wave soared and sent Maduruma flying onto the sky above the view at the same time. He steered his one eye below to witness the explosion swallow the enlightened needle fingers in an instance before it dissolved into burning ashes, decimating the fingers.

Unfortunately, Maduruma couldn't grasp a temporal rest due to his sight capturing a glimpse of Chemistra pressed her kneecaps. She finally freed herself from the straining cloth, shattering it into raining pieces on the floor as obtaining a steady-standing position.

The Chemist blew a reluctant sigh and pinned sharply at Maduruma who hovered at the sky above. Cautious eyes were raised when she caught The Machine Herald flipped around his other augmented hand that omitted glowing green energy throughout the interior surrounding him.

Chemistra steered her heedful sight onto the back as she witnessed a gleaming, green portal spawn, crawling out a metal hand to resurface. She immediately tapped on the yellow button on the gauntlet that wiped away the entire purple light, replacing it with pearl yellow in an instance.

The same robot with a solidified-twister body emerged from the very depth of the green portal beneath Chemistra's back. The robot growled a misconstruing scream for its welcoming entrance at his foe.

Afterward, the robot quickly rushed forward at his foe and opened the grip to channel out a group of sparkles forming a silhouette. A jade silhouette that soon formed a long, holographic Katana, creating a large slashing mark by trailing the floor like sheeting into tougher steel.

Chemistra cautiously dashed onto the right as her back spread out a trailing yellow wave to obtain an increased speed. The yellow wave also incinerated her into a thousand yellow sparkles when the robot swung its holographic sword upfront.

Moreover, Chemistra reappeared on the robot's back by lashing out all the yellowish sparkles covering her metal body. She plunged the five of the needle fingers onto the robot spine and smoothly impaled all of them in less than a second.

The distorting shriek that resembled a radio being slammed roared across the empty building inside as its glowing eye winced painfully. The holographic Katana was dropped on the floor from the robot's grip that began to endure a sudden numbness.

Pear-yellow light embarked through the whole metal body of the robot as Chemistra retrieved back the impaling needle fingers away. An empty containment was the only thing she caught when observing the needle fingers before raising her attention towards the robot.

The Chemist flexed her finger swiftly refilling the pear-yellow enlightened liquid once again in split seconds. Watching the robot embrace the side effect of the yellow light froze its entire motion in an instance, gave Chemistra a bitter relief with her closing the enlightened eyes briefly.

However, she couldn't continue the resting time as a glaring sound of fleeing light drummed through her hearing. Chemistra pressed the enlightened kneecaps that began to soar out the flashing yellow light.

The sound was none other than an orange-holographic harpoon, which fled onto The Chemist's direction faster than the lightning could ever reach with a blasting wave covering its back. The blasting wave that also made the harpoon almost plunged the impaling spear, but the yellowish light shrunk down Chemistra into nothingness in an instance.

The harpoon halted its muzzle from ever touching the ground due to the main target's sudden disappearance. A glowing sparkle assembled into a humanoid-shaped in a ducking position far from the predatory harpoon.

The sparkles dissolved to unveil Chemistra's physical appearance once again as she covered her left ribs. Blood rapidly dripped on the floor with frantic eyes pinned at the fresh slash-wound mark.

Hefty breathing was let out after receiving the sudden wound she endured for now and pressed deeply her ribs. Then, Chemistra raised her hand that was dampened with her blood, painted the whole palm, and extended her eyes in dreadfulness.

Luckily, the dreaded feeling only temporarily corrupted her as Chemistra furrowed down the heedful eyes when a quavering roar of light echoed through her ear from the backside. The Chemist raised the trembling kneecaps in order to get a standing position.

Therefore, Chemistra fluidly cart-wheeled the metal body on the left and evaded the lashing strike of the harpoon. Even though she growled due to the harpoon slightly penetrating her hand and creating horizontal-wound lines on the arm.

The Chemist covered the newest mark wound that raining drops of blood on the floor and sharpened the cautious eyes onto the harpoon. The harpoon flung higher to the sky above before launching a smooth flip for redirecting its direction, heading towards the opponent who was still holding her wound.

Another surprise appeared within the heedful sight of Chemistra as she noticed a gleaming green light shone on the right side of her neck. The Chemist witnessed a green door popped out and opened the gateway of the wavering space.

With the harpoon meteor drop and the green door allowing Maduruma to open his clutching on the door rear part, Chemistra hoisted the same needle fingers for impaling the robots that were already being recovered. She darted her eyes till a bloodshot furrow appeared especially when The Machine Herald revealed the detailed appearance from the door itself.

She steered her sight onto the right that caught a glimpse of the store's displaying a glittering purple, female statue within the rectangular glasses. Furthermore, Chemistra marked a safe spot to evade especially with pinning the floor in the front of the store itself.

Hence, Chemistra swiftly dashed with the yellow wave trailing her back as the harpoon inched closer to fully piercing her leg due to the edge already pointed at a small hole wound. The yellow wave shrunk down The Chemist until no more traces of her left anymore, letting the harpoon halted once again when the edge almost touched the ground.

Whereas, Maduruma nailed the spinning one-eye sight at the right as he was still retaining the yellow vision. His yellow vision showed a pear-yellow humanoid landed on the floor in a duck position.

The Machine Herald blinked the money to erase the entire yellow surface of his vision and brought back the crystal clear one, resembling the reality he witnessed. Maduruma caught The Chemist standing up with one of his legs crumbling due to previous wound marks sprinkling a splash of blood onto the floor.

"You're still pretty stubborn to fight me, Chemistra." Maduruma persuaded with a gleeful tone, "Even though you actually quite agree with me, my friend. Besides, you can also cyberize your father and even your sister, so they don't have to be concerned with you anymore."

"Concerning that, you will slowly lose the moral standard for pesky humans," Maduruma added with a soft, yet mocking tone.

The Machine Herald chuckled, "Something that I also love to say, holding back their full potential on either using the knowledge or even fulfilling their wonderful, happy, smiling….DREAM!!"

The Chemist furrowed in sorrowfulness as another alluring word from Maduruma whispered through the depth of her mind. Chemistra unsteadily trembled both of the metal hands the more she opened the past memory about the conversation between her father or her sister.

Chemistra was still clearly reminded with her father's despairful frown after her daughter released a statement that she was willing to commit to cyberizing herself. The frightened eye of his, made The Chemist stagger both of the needle fingers in the present time especially for enduring the unnerving pain.

As Chemistra fell down into deep conflict and dilemma about her path after Maduruma's alluring whisper, the hovering harpoon flew to the far right in an instance like a wind blow. The harpoon slowly expanded the elongated, yet transparent body to prepare a suitable weapon for capturing the staggering prey.

The blade edge resembling a yari was forged by the holographic construct, replacing the harpoon edge with merging all the orange sparkles into one. The thin-pillar shape of the harpoon extended its reflecting surface to form the handler part for the new, suitable weapon.

Whereas, Chemistra slowly placed one of the needle fingers onto the red button on her metal gauntlet. Even though she was still consumed with despairful feeling as a flash of memory that showed her sister's reluctant stare emerged within her mind.

Chemistra immediately closed the enlightened eyes and shut down the past memory into a blank-black space. A brief sigh blew out from The Chemist's throat as pressed both of the kneecaps, channeling out the trailing yellow sparkles beneath the feet.

Then, The Chemist opened her eyes as she heated all the sorrow and despair feeling into a blood-shot stare towards Maduruma. She shook her head for fully tossing aside the burdening thoughts about her family expression before taking the first rush step that spread yellowish sparkles onto the floor freely.

"You're right, they are very concerned about my condition right now." Chemistra admitted with a firm tone, "But, I have to continue this path no matter what the cost. I already decided this and I must fully commit to it."

Chemistra grunted, "However, I will not embrace your twisted vision on human evolution, you cybernetic monstrosity."

"So stop trying to convince me to become your enforcer, leader, or whatever you wanted to call it!!" Chemistra scolded with an infuriating tone.

"Keep denying it, Chemistra." Maduruma replied happily, "I'm sure you will fall into that path and become my enforcer. I know deep down you had that mindset, but you just don't want to embrace it. I'm highly aware of that."

Thus, Chemistra rushed forward with a trailing yellow energy wave following her and increased the speed of running steps as if her feet were vibrating. The holographic Yari also chased down its rushing prey and hurled an impaling position when it reached the close distance of The Chemist in a split second.

The Chemist quickly took a swift leap that engulfed all the yellowish sparkle covering her body, but an agonizing interruption soon fell onto her. The Yari swiftly thrust its blade edge onto Chemistra's right ribs, splattering a gulp of blood on the sky and convincing its prey to cry the excruciating howled.

Moreover, surging orange electricities flickered on the entire Chemistra body and illuminated the orange light brightly as the electrocution pain. The Chemist began to shriek continuously with the constant thunder-strike pain binding her staggering body, allowing Maduruma to raise a delightful one eye.

"One fun fact about a human's conflicted mind, it becomes a distraction that you can let them die." Maduruma exclaimed, "If you're not spending your time dealing with a dilemma or conflicted mindset, you could potentially anticipate that movement as you did before."
