Meeting The Long Forgotten Hero Descendant

With another couple of hours passing by, a dark-blue midnight sky smoothly arose on the above scenery. Freezing winds blew across Neo Tokyo's city that could now regain a semblance of peacefulness with few citizens visible on the lonely sidewalks.

Naoki and Satoru on the front alongside Yuna who walked behind her other two friends were the citizens who appeared on the sidewalk near the TOMO store with the holographic backpack currently dimmed out in this situation. Cautious glares shivered on the high schooler's eyes due to the back and forth glancing from left to right.

Unbeknownst to the cautious high schoolers, a bloody wormhole twirled in the chilling night sky. A decomposing head of Sadari sluggishly floated out from the depth of the portal and darted her hawk-stare into the high schoolers who kept walking on the lonely midnight sidewalk.

The Corpse Woman broadly opened a yearning smirk toward Satoru, dropping a line of blood tear from her decaying eyes sockets. The glimpse of her current descendant swiftly pulled the upper body, grasping a clearer vision below and extended more of her smirk.

"Initiate…the…second…second..plan…" Sadari uttered

"Let's…hope..there is no bizarre thing to happen to us," Naoki mumbled with a dreaded tone as he kept surveying the surroundings, wishing his eyes didn't find any traces.

"Especially I heard that creepy blood woman escaped from the Superhero grasp."

Yuna giggled cheerfully and formed a tender smile on her face, "I agreed, Naoki."

"Also don't let that kind of thought overwhelm you or just think of this as a normal morning walk, so it can be more relaxing for our mind," Yuna advised calmly and closed her eyes shortly.

A blissful smirk was wide open on Naoki's face and slowly raised the craving eyebrows when he turned around toward his crush on the back. Yuna could only shake her head and briefly chuckled as the muscular student perceived his stare in an attempt to engage in a conversation with her.

"Yeah I like your idea and your positivity too, Yuna," Naoki said placidly and boiled his cheeks red in a steaming obsession. "Guess you are not just beautiful by just a look, but your personality too."

"Such a shame…Hatoshi managed to get you first." Naoki added scratching the back of his head, making Satoru who walked beside dropped his jaw in an uttered

Yuna chuckled and tilted her head to the left to receive a glimpse of Naoki's red face, "Oh you still keep that kind of feeling?"

Satoru groaned, "Oh come on Naoki…you really couldn't move on that!! The worst thing is you are fully aware that she had a boyfriend, damn it!"

Naoki chortled and uttered, "Not because of me being unable to move on. Instead, I just try to make myself happier or…relieved in this kind of time."

"I meant I really don't like to dig more about who exactly that creepy corpse woman origin or even her clam as…a past hero," Naoki said with him constantly biting his lips as the thought of Sadari's invaded his mind.

Satoru raised his puzzling eyebrows when he perceived his stare toward the muscular student who faded away from the boiling redness intact on his cheeks. The Glasses Schoolboy quickly shook his head and released a bitter sigh when a picture of a woman dressed in a blood-red kimono flashed into his vision temporarily.

"Oh yeah, the recent criminal, Sadari," Satoru spoke despondently and felt his eyes trembling in franticness. "I…had a theory that she might be related to the woman who was in my dream."

"Possibly based on what you said when we were still in the evacuation room." Yuna replied with her frown in worriedness before she shrugged off. "But I think it's best for you to let that thought fly away for now."

"Maybe.." Satoru uttered as he glanced back the anxious frown onto Yuna who still safely maintained the calmness in the form of planting a cheerful smile. "But thanks for the reminder."

However, a sudden, yet an unwanted thing for the high schoolers occurred when bloody wormholes popped out beneath their feet. A staggering-dreaded frown was formed on both the male high schoolers as they frozenly witnessed Sadari's resurfaced from the wormhole in front of them.

"Oh…shit!!!" Naoki flabbergasted.

"No way…why!!" Satoru murmured.

While Yuna firmly clenched her hand after her scanning eyes caught the glimpse of the bloody-wormhole portal below. Flashes of yellow lights blasted within her eyeballs shortly the longer she observed Sadari tilted her head in curiosity toward her fellow friend, Satoru.

"Don't use your power now, Yuna." A stern-distorting male voice echoed through Yuna's mind, opening the clenching fist in trembling shock and blurting out several counterpoints. "Remember, be consistent. because first, you are still in the training process, not fully-fledged Narajime. Second, you once told me that you will reveal yourself to the public when The new Yokai Parade begins."

"Lastly, it's a completely bad idea in the first place because one simple thing, you exposed your true identity to two of your high school friends," Yuzu added his argument toward the schoolgirl with a cold, yet blunt demeanor.

Yuna nodded with a grimace resurfaced on her gritting lips, presuming the mental conversation with her other self, "Thank you for the reminder, Yuzu."

Hence, Yuna raised her shivering neck and perceived the frantic frown on Sadari who stepped closer to their direction with her trembling legs. The chance of her unveiling the true power of Narajime didn't happen, for now, leaving freezing despair as sweats dampened her forehead.

Whereas, Naoki swallowed a gulp of saliva when took notice of his glassed friend still trapped in a frightening stand. Satoru even unnervingly bit his dreaded lips when Sadari heaved the clutching the closer her trembling feet stepped on his distance, convincing The Muscular Student to lock an affirmative stare onto her.

"My…descendant….I…shall..enlighten…you…" Sadari muttered with yearning feeling showering her voice, electrocuted up the shock on Satoru's rapid beating heart, and extended his dreaded jaw.

"What…do…you mean by that?!" Satoru countered in distress and froze The Corpse Woman on the spot when her decaying palm narrowly touched his chin.

Yuna sighed and said, " Sorry, I'm…not sure about this, but maybe Sadari is the same woman in the dream you told us before."

"Oh please…don't bring that up, Yuna," Naoki replied in utter disbelief.

At first, Sadari tilted her head from left to right at Satoru who uncontrollably took a staggering step back. Then, a burst of mangling, yet gladful laughter screamed out from The Corpse Woman's lung after the quick observation was finished and enlightened the soothing happiness in her undead heart, holding her decomposing chest.

"You…..dreamt…about….me….this…is….great!!" Sadari uttered happily as she placidly lifted the clutching forward on reaching Satoru's chin who was still frozen in dread and fear planted on his frowning face.

"It's…..great….that….you…indirectly remember me….at…least…." Sadari added and watched her descendant hesitantly shaking his head.

"Hey, creepy corpse woman!!" A trumpeting shout from Naoki froze Sadari's clutching hand.

The Corpse Woman steered her enraged expression toward Naoki who presented a scolding look in her sight. Even though sweats of fear already showered his entire body, he still held his stare toward Sadari and forcibly took one approaching step in an attempt to challenge her with his upcoming counter.

"You have to face me first in order to have my friend on your….side, asshole." Naoki bickered in deep anger boiling his mind.

Naoki groaned and chortled in a mocking demeanor, "Also Delusional Woman, still thinking you are the real hero of Neo Tokyo or even...a goddamn Rising Sun?"

Satoru quickly colored his entire face with defiance clouding his eyebrows for glancing at The Muscular student who took a debate challenge against Sadari. Moreover, the glassed schoolboy helplessly extended the despair frown and bit his trembling lips the longer he glared at Naoki.

While Yuna unfolded the impressed stare toward her Naoki, declaring a saluted nod. A nod for the bravery the muscular student presented to The Corpse Woman as he exhaled the bothersome air from his lung, illuminated a tainted-crimson light on her forehead in burning frustration.

"Of course, the answer is a freaking no..creepy woman" Naoki bittered as he clenched his fist and took another step forward.

"Because a real hero will never, ever, ever, make the citizens traumatic or attempt to kidnap a high schooler. " Naoki added. "YOU MOTHERFUCKING JER-"

The muscular student couldn't finish his delivery when he felt his feet being sucked into the depth of the bloody wormhole and gritted his teeth in agony as the vast blood strings wrapped up his head. An alarming shriek of dread blurted out from Naoki's lung especially when the blood strings blitzed into his head like a molten liquid transfused into his head, forming a frightening grit on his jaw.

Even Yuna also felt her trembling feet forcibly dove down into the depth of the bloody wormhole. Blood strings chained her head and she endured the pain of being infused with boiling liquid with her continuously releasing a high-pitch scream of agony, forcing to shut her eyes from reality.

"You..deserve..to…drown…in…despair…ungrateful….wrench…." Sadari scowled in utter disgust as she perceived the infuriating eyes of the high schoolers who now had half of their legs being swallowed by the hungry blood wormholes.

"So….descendant will not….be…influenced….by…your…sick…mindset," Sadari added.

Sadari groaned with the distorting scream, which echoed across the lonely street like a soundwave as the pressuring wind blew on high schoolers' hairs. With the scream of the high schoolers resonating on this chilling night, Satoru unnervingly gritted his trembling teeth and exhaled an agonizing gasp away.

Each second passed and the scream only went louder and louder into The Glasses Schoolboy's ears. It even made Satoru close his eyes briefly after capturing the horrific glimpse of his friend having their entire lower body fallen into the bloody wormhole's depth, lightening the desperation of his mind.

"PLEASE DON'T TAKE THEM!!!!" Satoru pleaded on top of his sore lung and darted the sorrowful stare into Sadari. Rain-like tears shed from the glasses boy's eye socket, luring The Corpse Woman's to give a pity winced at him.

Satoru gasped and muttered, "Just take me instead…please, please!!"

"That's my request as your descendant!!!" Satoru suggested with a distressed tone, heaving the despondent furrow at Sadari.

"IF YOU DON'T STOP, THEN LET ME JOIN THEM TOO!!!!" Satoru cried, convincing Sadari to let out a reluctant sigh.

"Fine…have..it…your way….my….descendant," Sadari replied with a bitter tone and stepped closer to regaining a clear look on her descendant's despondent expression.

Sadari cheerfully let out bursts of mangling laughter, faded away from the tainted-crimson light, and said in a gleeful demeanor, "Don't….be….afraid…with….me."

"Don't…worry when we go…to…the portal below your feet….it'll be in an…instant process…because I will….not….absorb….your…deepest…fear," Sadari reassured placidly and widened her delirium smile on meeting her descendant.

"What-ever." Satoru stuttered and dropped his trembling jaw. "Jus-t-t let my friends go from that portal."

Hence, the bloody wormholes puked out the lower limbs of the two high schoolers who were trapped on the brink of despair. It also reverted both Yuna and Naoki back into a crumbling standing position before the wormholes shrunk down until nothing of the traces left.

The recent disappearance of the wormholes forced the high schoolers to make their feet fall into a kneeling position. Rapid hefty breaths exhaled out from both of them like a person resting on the afar marathon, convinced Naoki to drop a concerned grit as he witnessed his friend having his cheek gently caressed by Sadari's decaying palm.

"Satoru, Satoru, Satoru!!" Naoki yelled at top of his lungs especially when his shivering-frantic eyes caught the glimpse of Satoru shaking his hand with The Corpse Woman. It's also convinced Yuna to forcefully

Naoki grunted and repeatedly shouted in an agitated tone, "Wait, don't go with that creep, Satoru, Satoru!!!"

"SATORU!!!" Naoki shouted on top of his lung, but no response from his friend appeared as he didn't even turn his head around.

Eventually, Sadari and Satoru vastly dove down into the very depths of the bloody wormhole for their departure. Naoki roared an unyielding scream after witnessing his friend's traces blinking out from the naked eyes alongside The Corpse Woman and even the wormhole, slamming his frustrated knuckle on the road below.

"NOOOO…DAMN IT, damn it…DAMN IT!!!" Naoki murmured in heated frustration that lingered inside his mind.

"Curse you..fucking Corpse WOMAN!!!" Naoki added with tears of anger sprinkled on the floor, painting the pity look on Yuna's face as she watched her friend fall deeply in despair and regret.

"Naoki," Yuna called out her friend's name softly, preventing him from extending the frustrated swearing this night.

A tender palm from the schoolgirl swiftly landed on Naoki's shoulder, convincing him to stare his despairful look toward her. An emphatic wince clouded Yuna's entire face as she tilted her head at her friend, spreading a sense of relief onto him by closing his eyes filled with freezing guilt on letting Sadari take Satoru.

"It's okay, It's okay." Yuna attempted to calm her friend from venturing deeper into regret and Naoki forcefully held his tears.

"The heroes will bring Satoru back," Yuna added with a serene tone as a glimmer of hope shone inside her mind.

"Are...you sure with that?" Naoki asked nervously as tears of guilt recently dropped the boy to the ground.

Yuna nodded and said, "I'm very sure, Naoki."
