Chapter – XX (Dream III)

As our conversation drew to a close, Alec warned me that we would be leaving the premises that night, and that I must behave myself. His words were laced with a subtle threat, reminding me of the power he held as the Crown Prince. The shadows of the night seemed to grow longer in the afternoon, and I couldn't help but feel that danger lurked around every corner.

I entered inside an off-white huge aristocratic ancient hall. It must be crafted by sure a year of experienced professional craftsmen. The calligraphy work and astounding paintings of gods, goddesses, nymphs or naiads, satyrs, angels, archangels, even demigods, fallen angels, demons, and messengers of gods have covered the entire big walls.

Never-ending pillars give it a complete paradise look to this massive hall. Everything is so much of a high profile and affluent that I literally started feeling like a royal. As I looked up at the beautiful inner dome of the castle.

I was struck by its grandeur. The dome was made of glass and was intricately designed with a series of interlocking triangles that created a mesmerizing pattern. The sunlight streaming through the glass cast a warm glow on my face, and I felt a sense of peace and tranquility wash over me. I couldn't help but marvel at the beauty of the dome and the way it seemed to capture the essence of the castle's history and majesty.

My eyes then wandered to the center of the Hall, where a stunning massive chandelier hung from the ceiling. The chandelier was made of crystal and was adorned with hundreds of sparkling rare gems of different colors that caught the light and cast a dazzling array of colors across the room. I was mesmerized by the beauty of the chandelier. As the light hit the gems, they reflected the colors of the rainbow and illuminated the entire royal hall, creating a magical and enchanting atmosphere that left me in awe and couldn't help but feel as though I had been transported to another world. The silence is something that makes me uncomfortable otherwise.

I didn't even know that...why this massive chandelier had given me sudden chills. For a mere second my eyes hadn't left that Chandelier. Like for in that miniscule second nostalgia stroked me. It was weird to feel a deep connection with merely an object.

After giving it a brief stare, I blink my eyes rapidly. Like I woke up from a trance and then next...begin to panic. I didn't even realize when and why my eyes welled up with tears. I wiped them away and daunted them up instantly. I shook my head at this inevitable thought that the chandelier will fall out from the ceiling at any second. I gulp down my fear and turn away to catch up with the others.

As I stepped into the museum, the air was filled with a sense of history that enveloped me like a gentle breeze. The castle like edifice hoses the collection of ancient stones and statues that stood proudly in the dimly lit halls. Each sculpture seemed to whisper the tales of bygone eras, their marble surfaces echoing the passage of time. My eyes widened with awe as I gazed upon the intricate details carved into the stone figures. The flickering museum lights cast shadows that danced across the statues, adding an ethereal quality to the scene. It was as if the echoes of centuries past resonated through the majestic hall, connecting the present to the mysteries of antiquity.

But what fascinated me more, was the statue situated aside the figure. His face was in a deep sorrow and his whole body inclined in one plane like he was stopping someone from attacking him. I began to feel annoyed when the lady restricted my vision. I lean further the railing of Alaska white granite ...just to get a good glance at the plaque. And... Blast!

The statue neck tilted a bit and his white stone irises expanded and turned black. I froze in my spot as I heard the whispers of someone speaking verses:

Above, it hangs with the regal might,

A keeper of tales, veiled in soft light,

Each facet a secret, a gemstone's gleam,

A clandestine dance in the moonlight beam.
