We waited for an hour, and I can only hear screams coming from the town. I also felt some earthquakes and even some violent winds coming from the town.

Rain was also coming down but it was only at the town, and our place wasn't affected by it. That must have been the move Rain Dance since that was the most possible method that summoned the rain.

The fire was being extinguished by the rain as time pass by. Soon enough, the screams from the town stopped. The rain also stopped, and even the occasional quakes stopped.

It looks like the battle has already ended. Now, it's only a matter of time before that man and Dragonite returns here. And just like I thought, a Dragonite soon landed in front of my group.

"Kid, the situation is settled. You can comeback to the town, and you won't see any sign of those people from the Johto region. But I suggest not going to the town for now since it's not a pleasant place to be in." The man said, and I just nodded. I plan to go back to the town though, and look if there are any survivors left.

I might be selfish but it doesn't mean I won't help those in need when I can. It won't cause me anything anyway just some potions and first aid kits. But I also plan to get some items in the town. There might be something valuable that I can take, and I'll just consider it as the pay from helping the people.

"Also, do you know where the grand level pokemon is?" The man asked impatiently.

"I don't but the gym leader Vhan went to the direction Pallet Forest, sir. He said that he'll try to find gym leader Sam in there." I answered.

"Hmmm… here take this. It won't help me much since I'm a dragon type trainer but it might help your Golbat. Consider this as payment from answering my questions." The man said then threw a small leather bag. The Dragonite then flew up, and left us after.

I looked at the contents of the bag, and found a small purple stone that is shaped into a fang. I don't what this is but it's making a horrible stench making me cough from it.

"What is this item? It's smells so bad." I said then threw up what I ate earlier from Nurse Joy. Golbat though was flying around the bag frantically once seeing the item.

"That's a Poinnanite Stone, master. It's very poisonous, and can even kill humans and pokemon. This item can even kill those steel type pokemon by eating it. While for us humans, it will instantly poison our body and kill us within a minute just by touching it. Also, it doesn't have any antidote or cure at the moment. This is an extremely rare stone that can only be found from a lucky encounter. I've read that this stone can only be produced by the world a single time every year. That person is generous to give you this stone, or maybe he has an ill intent of wanting you dead if you don't know what this stone is, master." Liz said.

I nodded from her explanation. She was right that the man from before might have an ill intent since who will expect that a kid would know what this stone is, or maybe he's just stupid enough to give this dangerous stone to a kid without knowing the consequences. I would not know what he's intention is, and if I was a foolish kid I might have immediately touched the stone once seeing it.

"Thankfully, you didn't touch it immediately, master. That stone is a sure guarantee to increase Golbat's potential from the book I read. You can use it immediately but Golbat will be in a state of unconscious for 3 days once he consumes it, master." Liz explained.

"You heard that, Golbat. You won't be consuming this stone for now. We'll do it once everything is okay, alright?" I told Golbat. He looks disappointed hearing that but still agreed. I then tied the leather bag on me together with my other bag containing the pokeballs.

"Good. Let's go check the town, and see if our supplies is still salvageable." I said to the group. Our supplies which Liz bought was still left on the hotel, and we didn't bring it with us because of the events.

The group nodded, and soon we arrived on the town. Or maybe it isn't a town anymore. The houses was burned down, the pokemon gym was destroyed, the inn we stayed in was also crushed apart, and everything else was in ruins.

We looked around the town, and I can see many corpses laying in the ground both pokemon and humans.

Liz and I immediately vomit once seeing the situation. I was used to killing, and won't vomit from it because of my past life but seeing a complete town full of corpses is not a pleasant thing to see.

I quickly recovered after a few minutes but the same can't be said for Liz. She was still vomiting while tears are coming out of her eyes.

Seeing this situation made me realize what my job will be in the future. I'll be doing what the people from the Johto region has done. I'll be killing innocent people from the other regions, and destroying their towns and cities.

I don't know what to feel from all of this, and I can't do anything that can change my fate. I can't run away from the clan, or else I'll be hunted by them. I just have to get used to this, and be okay with killing innocent people despite being a child, woman, a disabled, or an elderly.

I was fine with killing Mark and the other children because they caused me so much misery from their bullying but killing people who hasn't done anything wrong to me is just a disgusting thing for me.

I pondered about this thing while hearing Liz's sound of vomiting on the side. A few more minutes passed, and I felt a tap on my shoulder.

"Let's go, master. I'm fine now, I'm sorry for being a burden." Liz said while having a sad expression. I just nodded at her as a reply.
