In The Dark - Part 2

"Wake up." I could hear Caleb's voice trying to coax me as he gently shook me.

"I told you to give me a few minutes. Why did you have to wander? You have no idea how lucky you are that I found you right when you passed out."

My eyes fluttered open, and out of instinct, I sprung upward from my lying position, nearly hitting him in the face. His cobalt eyes stared me down, and I inched away, embarrassed.

"I couldn't help it—I just want to know—who is your elder brother?"

He looked at me, confused, and grabbed my face.

"I'm serious. You always speak of your elder brother, and I'm already terrified of your two other brothers. The last thing I need is a third one trying to kill me, too. I don't want to be a part of any of this."

He shook his head and let my face go. "Eldest brother is nothing like Cain or Andres."

I swallowed hard. Was he worse?

I heard a vibrating sound coming from in front of me, and Caleb took quickly to his phone. He swiped and answered.
