Chapter 27: Suyi

It's almost dawn on the surface when Lucis open his eyes finish a circle of energy gathering.

"the top floor energy flow no longer satisfying for my meridian now. I can move to the 38 floor to cultivate next time." he currently have close to 500 energy and the magic start forming a ball below his chest at the center of his body.

"my cultivation speed up too fast, I'm pretty sure no one cultivate like me in this whole continent. I don't know if this is good thing or not." Lucis fall deep in his own thought and try to recall every bit of information he have from NorseLightning clan.

Luckily for him, his foundation is really powerful. This speed is far from effecting his foundation. He's foundation is bizarrely formed beyond anyone understanding.

"I don't know how long have I been in here, couple of years maybe.." he thought. In reality, he barely add another week after successfully building his foundation.

He stretched thin his devine sense and crawl it through the bamboo pipe to the surface.

"snowing! I never been in a snow place before." Lucis recall his past memory. He live in the equator country which doesn't have a distinct seasons. He dream of going around the world as tourist but he lack money and time. He died at his early 40s.

He push his senses all the way to his house and surprised again by what he see. His house look completely abandoned. The collapse wall and roof still there. His bed and some other stuff is still there but it's covered by a snow look like it's been abandoned for a couple of weeks in this winter season.

"no one taking care of my house? How many years have I been gone?"

Is a split second, he appeared inside his house at the very back of the village.

He look around and barely anyone can be seen at the far front of the village.

After he expand his sense, he's surprised that the number of villagers is increased but some people that he knew still look the same. Even the brat ning ning, the little girl that he saw when he first arrived at this village still look small except she doesn't look skinny and unhealthy anymore. In fact, she's full of energy running outside playing with other kids in the snow.

"there's new family and new house too.. oh look someone flirting around.. did I actually just disappear for a short time?" Lucis look at his bed. His blanket no longer there, only wet straw covered with snow. His stool is missing too but the barrel for water drink still there.

"should I ask elder Dun?" Lucis swipe his hand in mid air and the snow on his bed fall from the bed.

He sit down and start thinking whether he should ask someone what's going on.

He send his senses at Elder Dun house but there's only one person in the house and he didn't really familiar with her. It grandma Du, Elder Dun second wife.

He expanding his senses and look for someone he's familiar with. Not long after he found elder Dun at one of the new house and there's a lot of people in the house too. The house is as big as elder Dun house except it's all new.

Lucis see Elder Dun accompany by his two wife and Dini. In front of him is one young men and another elder Lucis never seen before.

Dini keep stealing glance at the guy across her sitting beside his elder and blush when the men look back at him.

After a couple of minutes, Lucis shift his senses somewhere else. "it seems like they're talking about marriage. Damn, I thought she's gonna be my wife haha" Lucis smile bitterly. He didn't really have a romantic feeling at Dini but he's supposed to be the only available young man previously. it's normal tht he have imagine he'll marry Dini.

Not long after, his senses arrived at Luna house and found Luna at her backyard with another young men sitting at the straw gazebo gazing at Elder moon pond that filled with lively carp even with this cold winter.

Surprisingly, elder moon house look a bit better than before.

"hrmmm.. did Luna get married during my seclusion?.. They look like they're flirting at each other though.. " Lucis quickly change his senses directions again towards Boris house.

It seems Kuji and another girl and young men is processing some kind of animal at the backyard. Form their appearance, they must've just returned from their hunt.

"did the war really getting bad?" Kuji look at the young man across her.

"yeah, even the hunter guild at Murky town is effected. Nanji just returned yesterday and he told me the situation really bad over there." the young men nod with solemn expression.

'it seems something going on at the outside world.' Lucis interest quick picked by their conversation.

"that's why my uncle tell us to go to this village. The RedMoon clan won't care if you're normal people of not, if you're unwilling to be their slave, they will kill you." the young girl beside Kuji stop her hand and a bit of nostalgic in her eyes.

"they're immortal, they won't care for people like us. sister, don't talk about this anymore." the young man look at his younger sister and feel complicated.

Kuji fixed her eyes at the young men face and her eyes shining. "Murky town hunter is so amazing. You're really good at hunting." his eyes filled with awe and respect.

The young girls beside Kuji realize her expression and quickly change her mood and smiles.

"is he? Why don't you both get married?" the little girl tease Kuji. Kuji and the young man in front of her look down and blushes.

Lucis quickly shift his devine sense away. "what's wrong with everyone? Is this breeding seasons or winter season. Don't tell me.. " Lucia pause and think about the other girl that he recognized in the village.

Within seconds, Lucis found Yina. She still live in their small mud house. She's standing at her front door blushing as she hand the clothes in her hand at the men that look about 23 or 24 in front of her. Even Kunan that standing behind her is smiling and nod with satisfaction.

"my odin! It really are, breeding season." Lucis almost laugh out loud on the spot. The scene today start amused him.

He check around again at the couple of houses that he remembered have a young girl. Not long after, his smile turn into laughter.

"all the girls in the village have partner now. Wudie look really depressed too haha.. " Lucis smack his thigh as he continue laughing. Fortunately, his house is separate from the rest of the villager at the far back of the village or they will think he's crazy laughing by himself.

"only one girl left available but even Wudie doesn't want her.. Wudie oh Wudie, why being picky. Be glad you already have wife." Lucis smile mischievously and he scan to the last girl that remain unconquered.

The girls is Suyi, about 16 or 17 year old. She's picking up wild plant in the forest at this moment. Lucis saw her a couple of times before when he scout the surrounding mountains. This girl live with his two younger brothers without parents. She herd a small amount of chicken at her backyard and have her own vegetable farm too not far behind her house.

She and her two younger brother live in a house that look a bit better than Yina house. Apparently whoever her parents are, they're at least better than Kunan.

Sadly, she's consider the ugliest girl in the village. If not for her calm and mature personality, no one taking her seriously or even bother talking at her at all.
