Chapter 30: Eyes of Green-star
" now I can go shopping like a young master but first... safety, safety is crucial." Lucis fall into his own thought and began planning like usual before he proceed. He realized how dangerous this world are after staying in the NorseThunder clan for 9 years.
"concealment, I need to hide my skill and cultivation."
"I also need a disguise. Disguise is important.."
"maybe I should make the 'eye of green star'. With that I can travel back wherever I am..." He remembered one of the feature exclusively for his cultivation technique. He can set up the array 'eye of green star' and transfer himself there instantly no matter how far he is. It's like escaping talisman but with a fixed coordinate. What's more, he can return back to the previous location using the eye of green star array.
"just to be safe, maybe I should learn I different dialect... Nah forget this one." Lucis wave his hand and shake his head. So far he learned two different languages in this world but dialect is a different things. He doesn't know which part of the world using which dialect.
"the first thing I need is to cultivate my dimensions storage. It's a wasted trip if I only bought a little. I don't want to keep going back and forth increasing my risk by meeting other cultivator."
With that, he start training like crazy mastering every cowardly skill he can.
He never appeared to the public except in front of Suyi. He keep going back and forth between the underwater cave and his house and never step outside. He didn't need to step outside actually. After having his foundation, his devine sense range can cover almost 2 kilometer with clear image compare to when he doesn't have foundation yet.
Luckily for him. The green jade have a lot of support type of skill in it including concealment skill. The only thing the green jade lack is battle skill and spell. There's nothing related to combat in it which make Lucis almost gave up this technique previously.
"green grass shadow... Does the creator like green a lot or what? Why green?" Lucis frown looking at the skill name feels like the creator is being ridiculous. It is one of the basic illusions skill for concealment technique available in the green jade. Apparently, he can use this even without foundation but not really reliable. Beside,he can't move while using this skill.

"Vesta flower... this one look better. I can hide my cultivation or lower my energy in front of other devine sense.. " Lucis smile. He found exactly what he need. It's not skill he can learn but he can use this flower as magic item to hide his aura.
Lucis take out the alchemy jade and look for the flower information.
"what dail! This flower doesn't grow in this continent!" Lucis excitement quick shattered by that fact. It like someone tell you the medicine for you sickness is sold next door and when you go there, apparently the pharmacist told you the medicine is sold overseas and can't be found in this entire country.
Lucis refused to give up and find a way to create this flower himself. He spend one day researching a way to create this flower himself.
He spend couple of days looking for a plants around the 7 dragon mountains and combining it to create Vesta flower seed.
He plant it in the wooden vase in his house using simple gathering array with his magic stone. He's just too rich at this moment that he didn't even bother using magic stone for arrays.
As for disguise. It also require rare material. Mud wood. Mud wood is a rare material for cultivator. It's a high grade wood that can be used to craft defensive magic armor.
The yellow jade mentioned about using mud wood as the main material for crafting a uniqe mask that can be reshape to whatever face he wanted after refining it and bind it in his body.
Magic item can be use freely but eastern cultivator have a unique way of binding magic item to oneself to prevent anyone of using it except the owner.
Eastern cultivator magic item is popular for being difficult to use damaging the owner consciousness when the magic item is damaged or destroyed. At the same time, it also have a huge advantage. They can continuesly refine their magic item to increase it's strength and have a high chance of add it's ability.
"that's too bad, this wood have a lot of use but can't be created with alchemy. "Lucis put away the yellow jade after studying the magic item. He's disappointed but when he remembered how rich he is, his mood quickly turn happy.
"I'll have to go outside to look for this wood in the future, this mud mask is too awesome." he's set his mind and put away the plan for disguise for the time being.
"now it's eyes of green star.. green again.. the creator obsession with green is ridiculous."
Lucis study the array formation and stunned by how ridiculously expensive to create the eye of green star array formation.
"good thing I'm rich." Lucis shake his head with a bitter smile.
One of the material he need is magic Stone and a lot of it too. The rune drawing can be carved on the ground but it's highly recommend to use hard metal. For that, he have ton of black iron. Finally it need a humongous power supply.
"should I mine a bit more magic stone? Since it's required to be constantly active, I need a ton of magic stone daily.." He's unwilling and feel cheated. Even teleportation platform doesn't require that much power supply. How powerful is this array? It doesn't even have any attack ability like pulse laser canon or something like star wars powerful canon.
Lucis suddenly stand up and look at the direction of his underwater cave.
"I can use the energy in my cave for energy supply!" Lucis smack his fist on his left palm.
He quickly teleport to his cave and ran to the bottom floor.
"why am I so amazing hehehe"
Lucis made a new room outside the hall near the water for the teleportation point.
Lucis spend a week carving and combining hundreds of magic stone turn it into a magic cube carved with rune on it. It becames magic tool... or magic parts. Sadly, imagining is easy than doing it, he have more failure than succes wasting a thousand low grade magic stone. He's forced to make a couple more trip to the mountains for resupply.
The magic array drawing is a bit complicated. It look more like modern computer board than magical stuff.
The array is rectangular shape with hundreds of black iron line in it embedded with cube rune stone almost at every connection between lines. The center is empty with 5 meter circle wide. It's really look like computer board with extra details and added artistic look.
"italy, definitely, this is made by italian.' Lucis stand beside his array and look at the complete array design.
Lucis drop his blood on the four corner of the array and pour his energy in it.
He suddenly feel his connection between him and the array like a bind magic tool. While he can't control it freely, he can communicate with it like a machine. The array is imprinted in his conscienceness and he can access it whenever he wanted.
Lucis go to the first floor and activate the array.
It's exactly the same with his space bending skill, his surroundings change to the teleportation room in a fraction of a second and h8e standing at the empty area at the center of the array.
"awesome!" Lucis eyes wide open looking at the expensive array he just build. He's expecting some trial and error a couple more days but he's greatly underestimate his own capability. with his advanced mathematics and computer knowledge from earth, he can do it easily than he thought. Energy conversion is something he should feel proud of in this world.
"I should try someplace where my devine sense can reach." Lucis feel exited and wanted to test it from the tiger cave.
"eh!" he suddenly stop moving.
Just when he was activating his devine sense, he can feel another connection. It's like he have an eye on the first floor when he didn't send his devine sense there yet.
He try activate this connection and quickly surprised again. He can send his devine sense from that eyes in the room on first floor.
"that's weird.."
Lucis didn't use space bending and instead ran to to top floor and see what's going on.
When he enter the room, he use his devine sense to look for the eyes but can't see anything.
He check his sea of conscienceness but the connection to the eye has disappeared.
"weird.." Lucis scratch his head examining the room and return to the teleport room again.
When he's step on top of the array he suddenly feel his connection to the eye on the top floor again.
He's stunned on the spot and began examining his connection with the eyes.
Not convinced enough, he sit down and studying and experimenting in his new ability. The more he look at it the more like it.
"is this why it's name have 'eye' in it?" Lucis smile.
"not only I can return to that spot, I can also use my devine sense to see what's going on at the other side.. this is convenience."
"this world is amazing, they have something as convenience as doraemon door here." Lucis doesn't know yet at this point that's, except the creator, he the only person that ever use this skill. Bending a space is not a popular research topic in this world and only few magician from ancient time ever have invested their time in it. They're more interested with destruction power than something like this. In fact, the eye of green star is a result from the research of 66 generation and finally completed by the jade owner after he wasted his whole life creating it.
Lucis smile excitedly as he use the eye on the top floor a couple time. He teleport on the top floor back and forth a couple times studying the aray formation.
"I wonder how long the eyes can last without any power source supplying it." Lucis take the purple jade and study the eye of green star array further but there's nothing mentioning about it.
The fact is, Lucis forgot that this array is bending the space itself similar to his own skill. As long as the array have power supplying it, the connection will stay there unless he himself erase the it.
