Chapter 37 Muzin the nice dude

Comes afternoon, Suyi left bringing a lot of interesting food with her accompany her rare adorable smile. She'll look like an angel if not for the pimples and scar across her body frightened the kids.

Some people look at her with envy. Recently she's bringing a lot of luxury item back home. Just yesterday, she brought back two roll of linen of higher quality than what they trade with the traveling merchant. Not to mention that her house have a meat smell everyday like she have an endless supply of it.

Some people even though about visiting Lucis but remember that Lucis never answered the door. Even elder Dun has come yesterday but no one answered him.

After the meal and some teasing, Lucis went back to his cave and go to the control room.

After checking a bit and see nothing wrong in his room at the murky Town, he teleport in and casually walk out.

Suddenly the next room door open.

"brother Lucis, you finally came out." Muzin walk in a hurry as he greet Lucis on the hallway.

"you looking for me?" Lucis surprised, he didn't expect that. Last he check, Muzin is still meditating and recuperating his wounds. It's just one day and he's all jumpy.

"ah, sorry about that.. " Muzin scratched his head feeling embarrassed. "I've knock on your door but it's look like you sleeping." Muzin didn't dare to investigate Lucis 4oom with his devine sense.

"ah.. Well... I'm kind of busy last night I guess." Lucis nod and roughly check Muzin condition.

"you're still wounded." Lucis frown, what's the emergency that is so important than your injury?

"forget about that, we should hurry and leave here, brother. My friend told me that the RedMoon clan will come here soon."

"RedMoon clan.. " Lucis look down and start thinking about something.

'this will be a major move by this red whatever group.. I have my eyes of green star so I don't really need to worry about it.'

"I understand. Where do you want to go after this? I thought you're hunting treasure here." Lucis look at Muzin that still pale and lack of energy.

"hah! What treasure count for if I lose my life. I'll go to the south next and try my luck on some ancient ruin. We should go together brother Lucis, your skill will be really useful." Muzin look at Lucis with almost begging expression hoping that Lucis follow him. After all, he himself witness how powerful Lucis skill is, almost invisible.

"ah, about that.. I still have something I need to buy and.. my home actually close here.."

"home? What home with all these RedMoon crawling around? Leave it, we can always make new cave anyway. This is the best thing about rough cultivator like us, we're not tied down anywhere."

Lucis realize what Muzin really after but why would he move when he already have a perfect base. That place is too valuable and he's not willing to part with it.

"understandable.." Muzin voice is so weak like he almost cried. What can he do, Lucis clearly more powerful than him. Him tagging along with Lucis is just a burden.

"at least please take this." Muzin take out a pearl and hand it to Lucis. "I don't know when we can meet again so... " Muzin worried that Lucis doesn't want to accept it.

"what's this?" Lucis casually take the pearl and examining it closely.

"a..... voice transmission." Muzin surprised with what Lucis ask. The pearl is a common item in the cultivator society. Although his voice talisman pearl is the cheapest one, Lucis being unable to recognize it make it sounds more painful than when he rejected his invitation earlier.

After looking at Lucis reaction, Muzin convinced that Lucis doesn't know anything about voice talisman. The mark inside the ball belong to him and it's connected with the other crystal talisman like a frequency. It's similar to walkie talkie.

It takes some times for Muzin to explain how the voice talisman work to Lucis.

"aaaaah, now I understand. I'll have to thank you then." Lucis smile. He learn a new thing again. This crystal is like amplifier for voice telepathy and the mark and rune inside is the frequency grouping the other talisman together.

Lucia shake his hand and the voice talisman disappeared. Muzin eyes almost popped out.

"you.. you have storage pearl?" Muzin stuttered.

"En, something similar to that. By the way, do you know where I can get sun's stone?" Lucis change the subject casually worried that Muzin start digging deeper. Space and dimensions is his trump card currently and he doesn't want other people to know it. He still think that space dimensional technique is common in this world at this moment.

"I walk around the town yesterday but I didn't see any shop selling those."

"sun stone? I have some here." Muzin quickly rummaging his bag and take out three sun stone. The sun stone is rough oval shaped and yellow and orange color with the size of 2 coin.

"I'll buy it. Name your price." Lucis quickly take the stone and examined it.

"what are you saying brother. You save my life. This is just a sun stone, not something valuable." Muzin frowned and wave his hand. The sun stone is a common daily basis for him like a spoon or plate.

"say no more, I'll buy it. But this is nowhere enough. I need thousands." Lucis take out 3 low grade magic stone and forced it on Muzin hand.

"thousands!" Muzin shout forgot about his usual manner with Lucis. "brother, are you lightning up a whole clan or what? 3 is more than enough for immortal cave!" And that's the truth. The sun stone is as bright as earth light bulb. Beside, cultivator have night vision eyes, sun stone is almost useless to them. Moon stone is a lot more valuable than sun stone instead. The moon stone used for decorations purpose because moon stone shine a white light and beautiful to look at like a jewelry.

"is it?" Lucis look at Muzin surprised expression. 'so this sun stone is expensive or not? Why is he surprised when I said I need thousands?'

"anyway, where can I get more? 3 is really far from enough for me."

Muzin look at at Lucis and slowly shift his gaze on the floor thinking deeply.

"I can ask my buddy to get you some but it'll cost a magic stone." Muzin guess that Lucis have at least couple hundred magic stone since he easily whip out 3 and gave it to him.

"I'll have to trouble you then. Here, see if it enough to buy a couple hundred." Lucis shake his hand and a sack appeared in his hand. It's clanking as he hand it to Muzin.

"I see, I ask him.. " Muzin open the sack and casually as he talk to Lucis but his words suddenly stuck in his mouth when he see 10 medium grade magic stone in it.

He quickly close it and look around anxiously. He poke his head from the veranda to make sure no one saw them. Not satisfied enough, he close his eyes and expand his sense covering the whole inn and couple meter away from it.

"brother, please don't show this thing casually like this again next time specially when there's so many cultivator around." Muzin chant something in his mouth and pointed his finger at the sack. Suddenly all the magic stone aura disappearing.

"en" Lucis nod with satisfaction. He was testing Muzin. He was no idiot and he knew how valuable medium magic stone are.

"I'll take note about it." Lucis smile. Secretly, he really want to show off how rich he is and slap the man with his top grade magic stone.

"alright alright. I'll call my friend right away." Muzin start rummaging his bag again and there's a lot of 'clang!' sounds in it like he have a lot of glasses objects in there.

"take your time, take your time. I'll meet you again later." Lucis tap Muzin shoulder and walk back to his room in a grand manner like he own the world.

"ah." Muzin look at Lucis back as he walk back in his room. The way he casually throw that many magic stone stone make him look up at him with admiration.

'he's such an amazing guy.' he nods.

"wait a minute!" Muzin smack his fist on his palm. we're supposed to be leaving the town, how is it the subject change to sun stone?" he slap his forehead feeling stupid.
