Broken Pact And Boss Attack

{Bertram Titanblood has broken the pact between his people and yourself. All benefits towards the [Bandits of Gotyr] have been revoked and they have been marked as enemies. As pact breakers any enemy that falls to your forces will grant double experience/chance of learning new skills. Any defectors from this group may attempt to make a pact with your familiar or champion. Happy Fighting Young Dungeon Core, show this fool what it means to defy a true dungeon! -Elswen Goddess of Dungeons}

Reading the message a fifth time I can still feel the cold fear of dread filling my core at the message towards the end. The Gods are real in this world.....and theres one for dungeons specifically.....should I be praying to her? Making sacrifices? Should I be afraid or apathetic? Watching the fight continue outside I continue to watch the Bandits boss, Bertram The Butcher, and his progress through the forces of both dungeons. The man stands close to 30 feet tall, the axe in his hand glowing ominously as he rears back for another strike against his opponent. His enemy happens to be the enemy boss creature I've only heard about until now and those descriptions didn't do it justice.

{Name-Horker the Mutilator Boss Rank-A Species- Demonic Skeletal Omnitaur of Bloodlust Description- Omnitaurs are rare and exceptional breeds of minotaur that, instead of a single set of bull horns, grow massive sets of antlers that end in razor sharp blades. Their builds are built for combat and leadership, and their minds are sharper than most would give a beastial creature credit for. Added to the fact that they have perfect control over elemental magic makes these creatures a threat of the highest order. Horker was once one of these threats until captured by the prince of the country of Gotyr for use in the arena. Slowly this noble beast went mad as the slave magic and injuries piled unto him, but he pushed forward in the hopes of survival and vengeance. Sadly on the day of Gotyr's fall this champion fell under the curse just the same as many of the other creatures in this country. The flesh and muscle melted from his bones while those same bones turned black as night, runes etched into every inch of his skeletal frame as the dark magic shattered his mind and filled the creature with bloodlust. Soon after this transformation Horker heard a voice whispering in the back of his mind, and after hearing those words the beast charged into the dying country. For centuries now Horker has followed that voice's orders which were simple. Kill any who oppose me slave, and if I am pleased you may find your freedom.}

"Kyle, that minotaur is an elite boss creature. We can't see it's level but off of how its fighting its probably stronger than Gorask by at least double. Those runes on its bones are demonic slave etchings, a type of enslavement magic that corrupts a creature and forces them to mutate into a personification of a demonic aspect. The fact that they were put directly on its skeleton means that in life this creature was much more powerful than whoever did the enslaving. Bertram is in the same boat. He's using some form of magic to make himself larger than he actually is but he has enough civilized blood in him that he's less monster than man. But he's part titan which is rare and terrifying since titans are tyrants that can singlehandedly slaughter a small army. If he's a half blood then he'll be a challenge to put down. He broke the pact though by declaring war on Sarah and her group and if we're lucky those two will take each other out." Emi explains as the window switches to watch two new approaching figures, one lazily swaggering towards the dungeon entrance while the other rides atop his darkened steed, a moan escaping his desiccated skull as the deathknight and troll finally appear.

{Name-Beggar the Pitiful Boss Rank-B Species- Spirit Troll Trickster Description- Beggar was always a pitiful fool to all who saw him. Captured by a magical slave show, the troll was forced to perform for scraps and silver of which none he could keep. Abused and attacked daily, the troll was surprised as a voice whispered into his ear upon arrival in the great country of Gotyr. Power and revenge were promised to the wretched creature but in exchange he would have to serve. Beggar willingly signed up, upon doing so he was flooded with undead energy. His skin went from gray to blue, his eyes took on a green glow, and his body exuded a menacing power of death. Beggar started with his keeper first, tearing into the pathetic man and sampling his flesh. After the ring leader he visited the guards, the nobles, and even the quartermaster. Each time in greeting he would cry and beg, and once those he asked help of came close he would show them who truly needed whos help.}

{Name- Zod The Tortured King Boss Rank-B Species-Crypt Thing Deathknight Description- King Zod, Ruler of Gotyr, A monarch known far and wide as a fair yet strict ruler of his people. Upon the death of his queen, Zod slowly became harsher and colder to both allies and those close to him. After several years his country which was once known for its strict laws and practicing equality for all races spiraled into a hell of discrimination and slavery. Unbeknownst to the defunct king was that a curse had been placed on him, slowly killing him and transforming him into a powerful undead and trapping his once sharp and noble mind within a shell forced to serve. When the dungeon finally took control of him he watched, horrified, as his body slaughtered his servants and friends. His family soon was also hunted down and slain efficiently, while several children escaped thanks to his attempts at retaking control. Displeased at his attempts the dungeon partnered him with the insufferable Beggar, the troll able to strengthen the undead aura that trapped the kings soul within. Always screaming for rest and release, Zod has watched for centuries as the country he once loved and ruled turned into a home for the vile evils he fought against his entire life, hoping for the day someone could finally end his pain.}

'Get everyone ready Tilly, we need to kill both of those bosses if we want a shot at surviving this.' I say coldly, still wondering in fear if a prayer to this goddess could help.
