Profound Stone

Night...

Vernard and George returned back to the camp together with the ladies.

The ladies promised to go back when the Sect is complete. They even offered help in placing the arrays on every building later.

Ban also inform his family that he will be staying in the Sect for the night.

The soldiers also returned and they even bought a brand new moving truck for their things.

"You guys are really prepared. I bet you emptied a store somewhere in the City." Ban chuckled as he sensed the fully packed truck outside the base.

The group awkwardly coughed as Ban's claim was spot on. They indeed bought in everything at least three stores in a mall.

Ban shrugged his shoulder as he didn't comment about it anymore.

In one of the halls of main headquarters...

"Let's begin the process now. I still have many work to do in the base tonight." Ban said. He already informed Clara to summon Ling to his base as he needed him to add more buildings and designing the gate for him.

Annie and the others were nervous at the same time excited about the blessing.

Their impression about Ban was how mysterious he was. His skills weren't ordinary too that leave them speechless at that time.

Now, they imagined having those skills while revered by many was a dream come true for them.

Annie on the other side thought about the skills she received from Ban. She somehow had the guts that those skills weren't meant for Divergents now that Ban introduced them to the path of immortality.

"Work hard. One day, you will achieve your dreams." Ban gave them the final words before he gave them blessings one by one.

...

Ling arrived at the base together with Clara.

Ban told Ling about the newly added buildings that Elena and others suggested. He also told him about the gate design.

Ling nodded calmly and proceeded to do his work efficiently.

"Can I have some treasures from you? I'll exchange them for something." Ban turned to Clara and asked.

Clara already expected him to ask some help about this matter. After all, creating a Sect without any experience is a bold at the same time a st*pid idea.

She thought if Ban spent anything about this place other than the land.

If she knows that Ban also received the land without paying on it, she might applaud his shamelessness.

Clara threw a couple of spatial storage she got from her aunty. She knew those storage treasures came from Vince and the other outsiders.

Ban was elated and inspected the treasure inside one by one.

"This is..."

Ban fetched a white stone that was filled with profound energies in it. He compared them to the monster cores.

"Profound stone."

He uttered the name which surprised him a bit.

"Yes. That is a Profound Stone. It is more denser than monster cores. One Profound Stone can boost a newly Profound Practitioner by one major realm if he or she can absorb it bit by bit until it's empty." Clara explained.

Ban nodded. Even though he knew this stone from rummaging his jobs, this is his first time seeing one.

"Did you use this thing on your breakthroughs?" He squinted his eyes at her.

Clara shrugged her shoulder, "What? I'm rich. I can do anything I want in my kingdom."

Ban knew she was right. A pampered princess can really do what she wants.

He then continued to search the storage.

Many Profound Stones were stored in every spatial storage. Also, he found pills, elixirs with various tiers and qualities.

He found many skills books, weapons, defensive treasures, rare materials for alchemy, ores for smithy and many more.

"Are you gifting these to me since you knew I was building a Sect? How kind of you." Ban turned to Clara who rolled her eyes.

"I'm not. It's just a coincidence I have these stuff." She pursed her lips.

Ban stared at Clara weirdly when he found something unusual on one of the spatial storage.

"W-What?" Clara saw Ban's gaze and she felt uncomfortable.

"You don't do laundry?"

"L-Laundry?" Clara was caught off guard and blushed. How could Ban ask her such a private question?

Ban fetched a truck-sized basket with full of woman underwears inside.

Various panty designs were inside. Even lingeries mixed in them.

Once the giant basket was out, the womanly fragrance immediately spread in the surroundings.

Those underwears weren't smelly. In fact, they looked new. It's just that, every underwear has a body fragrant of a woman in it which Ban conclude that those were all used.

Clara was astonished at first before blushing furiously.

"These... These weren't mine!" Her chest heaved up and down before burning the basket into ashes.

"I thought so too. Those underwears don't have fragrance of a woman. That basket must be owned by someone... perv*rt." Ban squinted his eyes at Clara.

"That spatial storage came from Vince that you met a few days ago." Clara pursed her lips.

Ban immediately understood. Given by that young man's nature, he must've collected those underwears as his trophies on harming women.

"So, how should I pay you about these treasures? Want me to give you another array formation?"

"No." Clara shook her head.

"Then what do you need?"

Clara stayed silent for a while before saying, "I-I want a necklace talisman."

This time, Ban turned to be silent. He only stared at her without blinking.

Clara's cheeks turned hot feeling the stare Ban. Seeing Ban didn't respond, she became a little anxious.

"Sure." Ban gave her the ruby necklace. He said with a gentle smile, "I originally wanted to give one to you as a gift since I became your master, but I changed my mind thinking you might reject such a cheap presents from me."

"H-How could I? I'm your disciple. Of course, I'll be delighted if you give me a p-present like this." Clara's eyes brightened while examining the jewel on her hand.

"It's settled then." Ban chuckled and continued to examine the spatial storage.

"I-I should get going. I have other business with my aunty." Clara's hesitated before giving Ban a kiss on his cheek. She then disappeared in a flash without waiting for Ban to react.

Ban felt his cheek in a daze. He blinked his eyes before shaking his head with a smile.

'This girl.. Is she really?'
