Preparing the trade. [Month 2 Day 23]

After the meeting, I quickly tell Okas how to make soap. After that, I still had some spare time, and I would like to do some more work on the Guja parts but to do that I would need things that we don't have. I also have to figure out what some of the things do and I don't have that much time to do them.

After the trade, I can do that but for now, I can get something ready for using the blood. We can mix the blood and sawdust to make a kind of wood that should hopefully be stronger than normal wood. The problem is we then need to heat it and then place it under pressure which we don't have the tools to do right now.

But it can get underway, so I also have a quick conversation with Horst and ask him to make a metal box that has one side open and then build a metal plate that is the same side as the side. It can then be placed on the open side and then can be pushed in using a screw that pushes it further inside the cube.

This is a very primitive way of applying heat and pressure to it and we will have to see if it works. Once I can make magic tools, I can make something much better. Hopefully, this is relying heavily on me being able to make magic tools. But I have confidence in myself that I can do it.

With that, I don't think there is much that I can personally do. So, I think I just need to wait a few days then we can head back to the village.

It took us two days to get a good amount of building materials ready. I decided to not take any food as they did not ask for any and I imagine that they can get some quite easily as the forest is quite plentiful.

To help them along with that we also decided to bring some glue with us to help their building and the varnish we have already used on the woods and such.

During this time, we also managed to make a small amount of soap and we even tried it out. It was made using ash and animal fat which we have plenty of, so we managed to make some. We then tested it and out it didn't feel quite the same as soap from back on earth. That is to be expected as we have not used chemicals to improve it and such.

But it still did its job which was to remove the dirt and grime from us and although it didn't smell of anything, yet I feel nice having used it.

In the future, we will make it better though and add smells, the feeling and such. But it works for now and should hopefully allow us to sweeten our deal with the elves.

For the two days that we were gathering all of this, I was mainly concentrating on myself and doing some more training and gaining the free stat points.

[Trained stat: STR + 10, : 25->35/100]

[Trained stat: VIT + 6, : 16->22/100]

[Trained stat: AGI + 9, : 21->30/100]

[Trained stat: INT + 16, : 95->111/∞]

It was good training and it felt good to be back to it after not doing it for a couple of days. It's been very hectic around here with constant work, so it felt good to have a bit of a schedule back and almost a bit of normalises.

But sadly, that schedule is about to be ruined again as we are heading back out towards the elf village with all the good that we have prepared.

Our party consists of Kixa, 10 guards, Rex, Freya, and I. Valret is staying back to guards the village. Rex and Freya are the ones that are going to drag the carts filled with the good that we are going to trade with. They are plenty strong enough to do so not just with their magic but also the size of them as through their E rank they seem to have grown. They are now around the size of a horse, maybe a bit smaller but around that size.

Seems that monsters can grow at any point well so can other people. I mean I have even grown a bit getting a little bit of extra height now standing around 5'11 if I were to guess. Most people around the village as they evolve and grow stronger have changed. They also seemed to have grown in self-confidence due to that.

Anyway, getting distracted from trading.

We now have everything loaded up onto the carts and are heading off back towards the elf village.

Note to self, when possible, create roads between all the villages for easier access as travelling through the forest is difficult and time-consuming.

It took us four days to get back to the elven village and when we arrived the elves had done a good job of setting up their camp. Tents were everywhere but were in an organised fashion. All around land and placed had been designated for different thing busing signs or markings for them. I could see those foundations for houses, and such were each one was already planned out.

An area had been cleared out for what looked like farming as the ground had already been tilled and not far was some more area that looked like they had foundations for buildings.

Everything is organised and planned, and not just randomly thrown around for wherever there is space. The small part of me that is OCD is very happy right now.

As we were walking further into the village, I can see that Almaien is walking towards us with some other elves.

Almaien: "I'm glad that you are back Lothran. I also see you have brought gifts for us, so very kind of you."

Me: "I aim to please; shall we take this inside somewhere and we can hash out the deal."

Almaien: "Of course."

Alright time to do business.
