The group of hunters that were hunting today was very talented. During the entire dungeon hunting process, not a single one of them made any big mistakes.
They always knew what they had to do and how they had to do it. Despite having an okay team composition, they didn't let that hold them back.
Mark was quite surprised to see how competent they exactly were.
A goblin warrior fell to the ground as one of the monsters in the field attacked it from the back. Mark quickly rushed forward and started cutting open the monsters.
"Phew, just a little more and we can go to E-rank dungeons once again," one of the people in the group said.
"Once again?" Mark was a little surprised. "Have you guys been to E-Rank dungeons before?" he asked.
"Haha, we are originally E-rankers. However, during one of the E-Rank raids, we lost one of our monsters and now the guild is making us bring back 100 marbles from F-Rank dungeons."
"Worse of all, they are only letting us use these simple monsters. They took our other monster marble," the man said with a sigh.
"Ah, no wonder. I thought you guys were too good to just be at F-rank. So you were an E-rank hunter huh?" Mark asked.
"Yeah, but just beginners though. Which was why the guild did what they did," the man said.
"I see," Mark said. 'Should I look for a guild once I graduate as well?' he wondered. 'Whatever, I will worry about it once I actually graduate. Then I need to worry about the rent before anything.'
He finished skinning the goblin warrior and took out a Goblin marble from inside. "Here you go," Mark said.
"Oh, a Goblin warrior huh? Not bad," the men said unenthusiastically. They didn't really care for something so simple as Goblin Warrior when they were busy hunting E-rank monsters most of the time.
They went through the dungeon hunting normally. Until towards the end of it, one of them said," Hey, brother. Have you tried hunting yet?"
Mark was surprised by the question. "Me? No. I don't get to. I am here on a temporary hunter license to make some money. One of the requirements there is that I never fight monsters in the dungeon. If I ever do so, I will lose my license and can't earn money."
"Oh, that's a shame. How long can you not fight?" the man asked.
Mark froze for a second and slowly said, "My final test before graduation is tomorrow. So, 3 days at best." He realized what that meant himself.
"Oh…" the man had a smile on his face as he asked, "so you want to try to hunt for once?" the man asked.
Mark didn't even realize when he said "yes," himself.
Before he knew it, he was in front of a goblin wizard. Goblin wizard always only had 2 spells. One was a spell that slowed and another a spell that did the damage.
"Go on, I will make my monster take the damage," one of the men said.
Mark nodded and slowly went around the goblin wizard in front of him. The goblin wizard was focused on the monster in front of it while Mark slowly approached it from behind.
It took out its staff and started using its spell on the monster before it, unaware of Mark behind him.
Mark held the dagger he used for skinning and as soon as he got close, he made a swift cut on the Goblin's Neck.
Before any spells were sent out, or any damage was done, the goblin wizard died. With a single monster as a distraction, Mark managed to kill the goblin wizard in a single attack.
"Woah, that was quick. Are you trying to be an assassin?" the guys asked.
"Haha, no. I just didn't see the point of fighting in any other way. Especially since I just have a dagger," Mark said.
"I see," the guys said and let Mark skin the monsters. For them, they only wanted the 100 monster marbles and nothing else.
Throughout the dungeon hunts, multiples of them, they let Mark fight the monsters in there. Mark made sure to only fight like an assassin.
The only thing he didn't do was fight the boss. He fought the normal goblins, goblin warriors, goblin wizards, and goblin archers.
At the end of the day, when the dungeon hunt ended, they took all the goblin marbles.
"You can keep the mana stones and skins. We don't need them," they said and left him. They even left the boss's mana stone with him.
Mark was both surprised and thankful to them for giving him so much. He went to the trade market to sell the stuff.
Fortunately, they didn't ask him where he got all the stuff and create a bother for him.

That was the number of units he got from today's porter job. That was half of his rent right there. "Damn, the hunters really make this much on a single F-Rank dungeon huh?" he thought.
He soon realized he was wrong in thinking that. There were usually multiple people in the group when they hunted, and these would be distributed amongst them.
Amongst 3 people after paying the porter, they would be lucky if they had 500 remaining. Still, that was a really good amount. At least to Mark it was.
"With this added onto the fact that I can sell the goblin wizards and other marbles soon, I should be able to pay rent," he said with hope in his heart.
He soon reached his home. The apartment door had another Eviction notice. He only had about 10 days to pay the rent.
That didn't fret him any longer. 10 days were more than enough for him to make 9000 units. He entered the house and notified his sister that he was back home.
He made some food for his sister and ate some himself. Afterward, he went back to his room to check the results of today's dungeon hunting.
