" Huh… Telepo- ? " ( Bojing )

Before he even had time to react a bright flash of green light appeared teleporting them. When the light faded, they found themselves in what appeared to be a dark ruin.

" What just happened? " ( Bojing )

" We teleported… " ( Wang )

Before he had time to reply to the sarcastic remark, the ding sound that accompanies the system sounded.

[System: Teleportation Successful… Welcome to the Tutorial]

" A tutorial? Do they even exist? " ( Bojing )

" Beats me. I got hunted before any of this stuff even had a chance to show itself. Although if it is a tutorial this will be perfect to test your new abilities. " ( Wang )

" You may be righ- . " ( Bojing )

[System: Please Walk To The Marker Indicated]

" You are joking right? " ( Bojing )

[System: The System Does Not Joke… Please Head To The Highlighted Marker]

" Holy crap, the system can have conversations! " ( Bojing )

" You didn't know that. They used to do that in the past. " ( Wang )

Reluctantly, Bojing walked over to the marker.

[System: Well Done… Now Turn Around in a circle]

" ( Goddamn tutorials, why must they be so tedious. ) " ( Bojing )

" ( Tell me about it, although back in my day there weren't any tutorials for games, they would just throw us in the deep end. ) " ( Wang )

" Wait, you can hear what I'm thinking! " ( Bojing )

" Crap, the system is sentient. " ( Bojing )

" It never was for me, even through all my years stuck in that dungeon! " ( Wang )

Channelling energy into his palms a status window appeared.

" Whoa, it looks completely different to how it used to… Holy crap! My damaging stats have all been converted to a different stat. " ( Bojing )

[System: Of Course They Have… You Are Now A Duality User]

" I don't follow… " ( Bojing )

" Duality users aren't normal players and have unique abilities and restrictions. The reason you couldn't do any damage before was due to you having the wrong stats in effect. As soon as you unlocked your duality those stats changed to your proper ones. Stats unique to you. We call these stats Unique Traits. " ( Wang )

" Wait, so does that mean I can do damage now. " ( Bojing )

" Not particularly, Unique Traits aren't always designed for damage, however if your smart with your abilities I don't see why they wouldn't work. " ( Wang )

[System: You Are Correct… Although Your Specific Unique Traits Are That Of A Defending Role, I Don't See Why You Couldn't Use Them Offensively If Used Correctly]

" It says here that my Unique Class is Guardian, so that does check out. " ( Bojing )

[System: Please Open Your Skill Tree]

Clicking on the button another bright flash of green light emitted from the window. Forming out from the screen, icons linked together resembling tree branches appeared.

[System: This Is Your Skill Tree… You Can See The Stats You have unlocked Towards The Bottom Trunk Of The Tree…Eventually These Traits Will Grow Stronger And Evolved Forms Can Be Achieved… Additionally You Can Also Unlock More Skills By Levelling Up, Meeting Special Conditions or Spending Skill Points]

" Woah, I've never owned a skill tree before, let alone my own unique trait. " ( Bojing )

Clicking on each of the abilities Bojing was amazed.

[Passive Skill: Human Fortress – Increases the user's durability and resistance by a set amount based on the skills level, also provides super armour]

[Passive Skill: Hydras Regeneration – Drastically increases the users hp regeneration by a set amount based on the skills level]

[Passive Skill: Dragons Vitality – Drastically increases maximum hp by a set amount based on the skills level]

[Active Skill: Reflection Shield - Imbue a shield with a strength based on the users' stats that reflects a certain amount of damage it takes]

[Active Skill: Conjure Shield - Project a shield from your own mind and will with a durability based on the users' stats. The Size, Number of Shields and Thickness can be increased by leveling the skill up]

[Active Skill: Regen Shield – Imbue a shield with the regeneration. The regeneration is based off the users' stats]

" Wow, those are some really neat abilities, although they are all only level one. " ( Wang )

Finally, after all this time Bojing had obtained the power, he dreamt of which made him burst with excitement. With this power he could make them pay for what they did to him. Although with these new abilities he was itching to test them out. Suddenly another burst of green light filled the room revealing a door.

[System: Please Exit This Door To Start Your Trial… If You Pass The Trial, You will Obtain A Reward… Additionally You Will Obtain A Way Out To The Surface And Officially Complete The Tutorial]

" Well let's not waste any time here. Are you ready Bojing? " ( Wang )

" I am. Let's pass this tutorial and teach the world a lesson they will never forget. Let's make them pay for what they did to us. " ( Bojing )

" Bahahaha, I Couldn't have said it better myself. ( Wang )

Passing through the door another bright flash shone and dimmed teleporting them to what appears to be another part of the dungeon, the door visibly gone leaving no trace.

[System: Trial Start…Now… Good Luck]

One by one the dark room began lighting up with flames atop pedestals which converged by a large opening.

[System: Demon King Vanegas has appeared]

" Did I hear that right; did she just say Demon King? " ( Bojing )

" I'm afraid so, stay alert. " ( Wang )

From within the dark gate a shadow demon began to emerge.

" Ah, another one has been sent. It is no matter… I shall have his head like all the rest before. Now, GET HIM! " ( Demon King Vanegas )

From within the dark a sea of shadows began to emerge alongside the King, rushing past toward Bojing. In this moment Bojing couldn't help but chuckle. If this was him a day ago, he wouldn't have stood a chance.

" Heheheheheh, how ironic. " ( Bojing )

Taking a step forward into the sea of monsters there was only thing on his mind.

" Let's see what I can really do. " ( Bojing )

One by one they attacked him, but he felt no pain. Their attacks were meaningless. There would have to be hundreds of them attacking all at once, but not once did his health drop and ounce. Continuing in a straight line he continued walking. No matter how heavy the blow he wasn't forced back, instead it was like he was a moving fortress. Slowly he started punching them one by one, but he couldn't do enough damage.

[System: Passive Skill: Human Fortress Has Levelled Up]

" Bahahaha, it is just as I thought. Skills also level up by using them. Come on, keep it up. Work harder to gain me some levels, bwahahahahaha! " ( Bojing )

Infuriated, the beasts did exactly what he told them to, but still there was no point. He was truly unkillable. Bojing sat down on the floor, still being bombarded with attacks.

" ( Bojing, what are you doing? Aren't you going to fight them? ) " ( Wang )

" ( I will, just not yet. I am going to use them to farm my skills as high as I possibly can. I must be stronger if im going to kill them. At this current point in time, it just isn't possible to win. ) " ( Bojing )

" ( Bahahaha, that's not a bad plan. ) " ( Wang )

Time proceeded to pass by seconds, then minutes, then hours, then days until finally a week went past. During this time various boss monsters appeared to take him out, but all they never gave an ounce of exp, other than to his skills, but even then that wasn't very much.

During this time, he decided to test out his Active Skills, in which after a week he had gained much proficiency and some levels in. Some of the bosses were able to scratch him though, however the marks quickly disappeared slowly leveling his regeneration skill by a minute amount. Eventually they grew bored and decided to put his new abilities to the test.

" ( First I will use conjure shield and mould two shields around my body as protective layers. Right now, I can only summon two shields at a time but that is more than enough. Next, I will use my last two remaining Active Skills and cast them on the existing shields, doubling the durability of both. I will target the outside shield with Reflection Shield to deal damage to my enemies and the inside shield with Regen Shield for added protection. I don't see how this will fail! ) " ( Bojing )

[System: Famous Last Words]

" Must you always have to be an ass! " ( Bojing )

[System: Don't Blame Me... If You Had To Watch The Stupidity Of Players For Centuries You Would Act This Way Too...]

" See, The System Gets It. " ( Wang )

Standing up irritated he layers and combos his abilities as per his plans and slowly but surely, one after one the monsters started dropping to the ground. That is until he tried it on the Boss monsters themselves. To his dismay they backed off not daring to fight him. They knew of his trick, and they weren't going to fall for it.

" Arggh, hit me already! " ( Bojing )

" See what I told you. You may be untouchable, but your abilities don't do squat to your enemies if they catch on. You need something else much stronger, or you will never win. " ( Wang )

[System: 10 Minutes Remain… If The Trial Is Not Completed In The Stated Time It Will Result In Failure… If This Happens The Penalty Will Be Applied… The Penalty For Failure Is…Death]

In that moment he froze up as his life flashed before his eyes.

" I can't let this be for nothing. I must push through otherwise my life would have been for nothing. I must push through to make it home. I must do it for their sake. I must do it to make them pay, But how…? " ( Bojing )
