|The Usual High School Drama|

I felt a tap on my shoulder so I glanced at them, "Hello there!" he greeted.

And who could this be? "I'm Miles Cha if you're wondering." he responded to the question I still had in mind to ask, how nice...

It's like he can read my inner voice or something.

"You're from Australia, aren't you?" I asked. "Yes ma'am, our school frankly has a ton of foreigners." and, of course, there were a lot of them.

I smiled as our conversation went on till we arrived at the front of the school, I suddenly became uneasy but I didn't mind it since I had to be somewhere else.

"Oh yeah, you still have a good memory, correct?" Sora stopped me and asked, just how many times has she questioned me about the same thing? "Of course."

I replied for the 12th time, she doubted me but I assured her by reciting the names of the ones we hung out with at the café.

But why would she be referring to her friends like that?

'Do they often forget each others' names?' Well, I guess this happens a lot when you have more friends who even have tricky names to pronounce.

We resumed walking into the school grounds, this place looks like it came out of an anime series or something like that.

The place looks neat but for now, I wouldn't let my guard down.

What a shame...

I realized that the two beside me were no longer around, even though I can't judge anyone by their appearance, I have a feeling that I'm currently the center of attention right now.

"Who is she?" said the first, "Yeah, I know right? She's pretty." the second commented, the third then there's a fourth, and so on...

I could hear all their chatters about me yet it isn't that big of a deal.

I went directly to Miss Eun's office, she must be the one who sent that driver to pick me up from New York since I saw the same car he used to bring me here.

I thought it'd be MY mother.

I sighed at the truth, I couldn't believe that I expected it from her.

This school is my first and will probably be my last, I'm not sure.

"(Miss Lou, I see that you're lost. Please proceed in building B to your west then walk to the end of the corridor.)" the speaker went on, can this day get any worse?

'Don't tell me she'll be watching me herself this time...'

I get that my father isn't the type you can trust but do people have to go this far? It's not like they're some kind of a spy nor am I in danger.

I can't help but be more cautious than ever, now that I know who exactly is sending those people back to New York to watch my every action.

I knocked on the door and was given permission to enter but I could not open it, it slid open to the side so I immediately got in, and then I greeted the school director, Miss Eun.

"Do take a seat." she spoke as I obeyed.

"So, what do you think? Isn't this place a beauty?" she smiled at me, pouring some kind of beverage before handing it over, I tried not to cut the conversation so early so I replied.

"When I entered this place, it somehow resembled a fictitious location." I stated formally, sipping on the drink she handed to me.

'She knows my choice of beverage.' she chuckled before getting to the point, Miss Eun passed a form, specifically, the directions around.

"It's been a while and I've heard of your amnesia... I hope you still know me." she finished, pointing back at the door for me to exit her office.

One thing I never really made sure of is the fact that the people here in school or even outside the area might not know that I don't remember any of them.

I just do not want anyone to be taken aback when I can't tell who they are.

I should probably head on to my first class but before that, I searched for my locker as I followed the directions given to me.

'There's a day off from school? And it's Thursday, good enough for me.'

At last, the locker is just right around where my class is.

The people passing by me kept on gossiping though I could hear them, yet the issue wasn't them instead, my locker seemed to be filled with something and the smell from inside was kind of familiar, something I'm not quite fond of.

Minced garlic...

I hesitated whether or not to open it but of course, I chose to do something I'll sadly regret throughout my entire high school life experience.

'I might need to put on a show.' I then unlocked it letting everything from the inside fall without getting a single smudge on me.

"Huh?!" acting as if I didn't see this coming, all their eyes were narrowed at me while the only thing I could do was slowly step back.

"Eww! What is that?" they diversely exclaimed.

I exhaled in relief that my new uniform was not ruined until suddenly I was pushed.

How unfortunate... 'This is not exactly what I expected.'

"How's the view? Is the feeling close to what I experienced during my childhood?" a voice spoke yet all I did was to keep my head down low and try to get up without much trouble but she would not let me go off that easily.

She took grasp of my hand before shoving me back onto the ground, I didn't dare look elsewhere other than the floor, staring at the minced garlic which irritated me the most.

"By the way, Yeonju. When did you prepare all these?" she laughed. "Surely you wouldn't have done this all by yourself, right? After all, she is your cousin so why be on my side?" she continued, bragging about the fact that he chose not to mess with her anymore.

I was frustrated to the point that I took a handful of the same icky matter and then stood upright as I smashed it onto her uniform as well.

Indeed, I just returned the favor to my sister but did she ever consider our relationship? Nope.

I can't possibly ignore her wrong deeds and neither should everyone else since it is against what they teach regarding the school's policy.

She scoffed with disbelief while the other students started taking pictures of their so-called Queen of Mischief, I already know a lot about this place so there's no issue.

'She's the one who spread all those fake rumors about me so it is only fair if I stood up for myself...' no one bothered to step in between the two of us as we just stood still.

Glaring at one other. "Eonni!"

Sora insisted on pushing Lee Haesu away from me, my friend took hold of my hand as she tried leading me out of there yet again, but the mischievous queen just shouted.

"This is all your fault, if you had not stayed in contact with that spoiled brat then she wouldn't have decided to meddle with our lives."

I froze as Haesu blamed Sora.

None of us wanted this so why put the blame on someone so innocent?

"Haesu-eonni, she's your sister."

Sora tried not to raise her voice knowing that her friend was still older than her, there was no use in reminding her that since she disowns me.

"Sister? As if." they argued as the rest of their friends attempted to get in between the two but ended up taking sides.

I, on the other hand, am standing on the side like I am not a part of this...

"No, you are just being cruel."

I aggressively tried to remove all the irritating smudged minced garlic from the blouse.

It is just not possible to get it off now so I'll just ask for another one... In a short amount of time, everyone became silent the moment an adult finally came to end the war.

The guys were told to take care of the mess in the hall before joining the rest to stay in the lecture room for an entire hour until every single one of us involved had cooled off.

--Author's Point of View--

"Time out! Every one of you within the crowd, follow me." the commotion came to a stop once the school's Director arrived at the scene, she indicated the group of friends to head to the lecture room as the crowd dispersed in the halls.

Haesu shoved past her younger sister to guide everyone to the lecture room because some of them never entered that place until this very day.

Unlike the others who practically spent their time there more than once a week.

Honey Lou stayed far back from the rest as they followed after the middle-aged woman.
