|The Angel In Slumber|

--Sora Young's Point of View--

"This is the best day ever!"

Jihyun-eonni raised her hands in the air as she spoke. "Unbelievable."

Haesu-eonni commented, clearly she's still against her sister but at least there isn't gonna be a war again since Honey isn't nearby at the moment.

It was also a good call that Yua called for Sungyeon-Oppa to stop the Lee-Sisters from pouncing on each other, or it wouldn't be this quiet...

Speaking of Honey, where is she? "Where's Lou?"

Yua also wondered, I brought out my phone to call her though I'm not sure if she'll reply, hence, I decided to go back to building A to find her.

"I'll go look for Honey and invite her to join us for lunch." I said, knowing that they'd eventually hear, I ran back inside the building to head upstairs.

"You better not!" Haesu-eonni added.

What exactly is going on with them?

In the end, they're still family and the only ones they can each lean on since not everyone will always be on the same page as they are. "Honey! Where are you?"

I called for her name every now and then, it would echo loudly throughout the halls but she wasn't anywhere to be found, I have been searching this whole lunch break.

'Where, oh, where could she be?'

Honey isn't the type to miss my calls too, could it be that something happened..?

'Surely not.'

'Class 2-D, Jihyun-eonni goes to that same class as Honey.' I recalled their class batch over and over again as I headed toward the upper floors.

Of course! She'd get lost around here since there are many possible things she could have encountered on her way...

There is the dark hall, the closed-shut door on the rooftop, the abandoned classroom, or she might've got into the music rooms since it's just right around the corner.

I kept running back and forth as I had a feeling wherever her presence would be.

"Young!" from a corner, a voice became audible.

So I rushed to get there and found Honey Lou smiling at me.

"Honey, are you good?" I turned her to the left and then right just to make sure, I lifted her hair before checking to see if anyone was near.

'Clear, no one is eavesdropping.'

I smiled at her, panting heavily from all the running.

"You've been running, haven't you?" she replied.

"Yeah, lunch break already ended and I have also been calling you numerous times on your phone, but you never picked up." I exclaimed.

"I wasn't hungry." she shortly replied, and it looked like she just woke up, that's not weird...

"You do know that when I don't respond to a call, it only means that I'm taking a rest." she stated, honestly, I forgot all about that code we have, which seems good enough for me to believe. "Never mind."

"Shouldn't you be in class by now?" she added, isn't she concerned if I have eaten or not?

"Why is it that every time you eat, you leave a trace? Your curly hair is always holding onto these." she spoke whilst dusting away the crumbs I had on my long curly hair which I dropped as I ate before, I can't believe that she found out too soon.

I snorted before letting it go.

"Let's meet again later, okay?" I reminded her about our get-together after school.

I soon left and went back to building C where my class is, it would be unfortunate to see the Lee Sisters in the same room again so I hope at least only one of them will come...

--Author's Point of View--

Once Sora was no longer in sight, Honey resumed what she was doing, specifically, humming a very lullaby-like melody she hears in a dream every night.

'I miss the old days...'

After class, she didn't meet up with her peers since the gathering would only give her an anxiety attack if her sister, Haesu had planned something.

Honey went to the rooftop which only a small number of students visit once in a while, she returned to her usual place and fell asleep.

Dreaming about the same breezy darkness.

'It's the sleeping angel.' Honey thought.

She watched as the angel peacefully rested inside the glass globe containing nothing other than a piece of melody playing and filling in the silence within Honey's dream.

'The pain is insufferable...'

Honey awoke from her dream as she sobbed having no clue what it meant.

She stood up from her seat, confused as to why she cried because of a seemingly peaceful dream that would always appear as she fell into slumber.

'I want to know what it means but it just hurts...'

--Lee Haesu's Point of View--

"Psssst..." I called for the tall boy, trying not to get caught by the homeroom teacher.

When I finally had Kim Young's attention, I reached out a crumpled paper to him before going back to my notes as I continued listening to the discussion. Soon enough, I felt something thrown at me so I glared at him while picking it up from the ground.

I'm calling those long arms useless if he's going to keep doing this to me...

'Aren't you gonna apologize to her?' it says.

Aishhhh... I aggressively wrote back 'Are you kidding me? Didn't you understand her words??' then I threw it back at him, harder as payback.

This guy is seriously lucky that I'm not in a bad mood today. When I was just about to raise my hand to answer the teacher's question, another paper was thrown.

'How can he write so fast?'

I gave him a signal to stop the throwing but he kept on making these silly faces and so, the madness started dying down and I started laughing at his childish actions.

'Should we go on a date after school?'

I read the message and gazed at him, lightly shaking my head.

We don't stand a chance against the others since every single time we plan to go on a date, they will oppose the idea for no valid reason, I looked back to see him mouthing the question 'Why?'...

I took another piece of paper, reminding him of our plans together with the group.

'We're meeting with the others after school till late at night, remember?' as soon as I finished writing, rolling it over on the floor towards him, and as it reached him, Kim Young facepalmed himself as he thought about it.

Unfortunately, we can't just go straight and tell them the reason for our absence since the last time we tried doing that, everything became a problem...

They canceled their plans and followed after.

'How ridiculous.' yet they were very thoughtful, and they came right on time to back us up when we met the students of our school's rival.

That High School isn't that far from Seoul Global High so it is only natural for us to encounter them once a month, I guess so...

'Would my family ever do such a thing for me? Of course not.'

But will they do the same to my sister?

For once, I can't tell... Why does it matter though?

The only family I have is Ms. Eun as well as my friends who are sincere to me and genuinely care.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
'I can't quite follow.' her words kept on repeating in my mind.
What can that possibly mean?
Don't tell me that Honey is putting an act as if she's clueless about Mom's death, or is she trying to deceive everyone as if she cares?
Could it be that she doesn't know we come from the same mother? Aishhhhhh...
'This is so frustrating.' it wasn't supposed to end up this way, why do I care about her?
"Should I take a shower now? I am dripping wet from the sweat." after working out for a few hours, the treadmill stopped as I got off and headed back to my room, changing into newly dried clothes.
I'll be meeting with the others, later on, we don't have to go there that early since it's not like they will arrive on time for the group study or whatever they call it. We all have our schedules so some of us wouldn't be available even though we're from the same class.
'They're just busy with extracurricular activities and can barely attend class...'
We have the seniors, average kids, and young ones...
First of all, Kim Young, my dear boyfriend is from the same class as I am, Song Ji Eun who is my best friend, Yeonju Lee, a cousin of mine who is always out in the field or at his workplace which is a convenient store, Byung Chan who barely shows up in broad daylight, psycho-like Min Oh, and Park Jinwoo who is filled with logic.
They are my only friends in class 1-C since the other students are afraid to interact with me, after all, I am the School Director's daughter, and everyone else is way out of my league...
Next, we have little Yua, the daring scaredy-cat, Sora Young the friendly one, Yang Sookyung who is always spreading positivity and is also the youngest boy in school, Riyanna Lee, a big fan of Beyoncé, and Park Seongmin, a dandy boy who loves taking photos.
Altogether, they're from class 4-B.
And then, Yun Oh who is the school's pride when it comes to football along with Kim Sihyeon, a very trustworthy person to rely on and the school's cupid, they are the only ones in class 2-C.
We have the school's muse, Cho Jihyun, the cheesy musical genius, Dan Nevuerra, Miles Cha, an intimidating person yet is the school's heartthrob, and lastly, probably Honey Lou is also one of them who is from class 2-D.
The students within their class are mostly the perfect ones as they say.
'But since Honey is here now, I wouldn't expect much from them anymore.'
The last batch is kind of the seniors around, Lee Sungyeon and Jay Hwang, they have quite big roles in school such as Jay Hwang being the school nurse's assistant while Sungyeon-Oppa has been the current student council's President for 3 years in a row.
'Aren't we cool? Except for Honey, that is...'
