|The Signs of Admiration|

"Honey Lou, are you still with you?" Dan snapped his fingers in front of my eyes, staring at me while my mind wandered, we continued what we were doing as I gave him samples of the choreography we already had.

'Hold on, what?'

"Why are they making you do this again? You already have it all prepared especially the dance routine..." he clicked on the mouse and typed on his keyboard before sliding over to the MIDI and leaving it sooner than expected.

"Shouldn't the theme song come first?"

I shook my head, thinking that I was useless in this scenario.

"Is that even important?" he resumed using the novation and equalizer controls right as he finished using the mixer console.

'I didn't think that this would be boring.' it feels as if I am being punished and this is too much to handle, honestly.

"What do you think about this flow?"

His voice made me spring up when I dozed off and slowly rested my chin on the desk, I was dumbfounded by the sudden sounds he made using a rhythm that suited the concept of our performance. "It sounds solid."

I gave him a thumbs up, getting back in my seat as I leaned comfortably.

"Okay then, I guess I was meant to do this alone." I heard him whisper.

Hours passed by, and I had no idea what was going on around me.

"Oh~" music was softly blasting in the studio room with the blonde-haired boy creating a few ad-libs for the theme song, he meddled with the piano keys inside the other room where I found the music box back then.

'Huh? That's the room where I fell asleep too.'

"Oh, wait. That sounds bad." he listened to a replay of his ad-lib recording before clearing it and doing it all over again.

I simply watched him struggle on his own, silently laughing to hide the fact that I was making fun of him until...

The direction of his face seems to have averted to me, immediately pausing the music before waving at me. "What's up?" he spoke through the mic after motioning for me to push a specific button. "The ceiling..."

I replied, releasing a sound of laughter that I have been keeping in for a while now.

"That's not funny." he straightly refuted.

"Sorry, I'm just not in the right mind at the moment."

I took a deep breath, seeing as he anticipated what I was going to say next as I kept in the giggles to share the joke I had in mind to tell.

"I'm actually still on the left." he lowered his head as he placed his hands on the keyboard in the room, mumbling something.

"Come on, it was a good one!"

"It would have gone well if you hadn't stopped. But I do get it." he responded quickly, trying to brighten up the mood that I just ruined.

"Well, you are right about that." I must calm down, this is getting out of hand.

"Just breathe." Dan took off his headphones and rushed out of the room, taking a seat while strolling over to me with the swivel chair.

He started breathing in front of me to guide me with a pattern, but I, on the other hand, didn't follow his guidance, plainly looking at him for no reason.

"Why are you looking at me like that? Is there something on my face?"

He questioned me while resting his hand on the back part of my seat, keeping a distance to respect my bubble.

"Can you finish the theme song as soon as possible? I still have one last thing to do before leaving school." I politely asked him, not wanting this nonsense to keep on going.

"Oh, sure. Just tell me if you need anything." Dan didn't seem bothered or anything, after all, I am well aware of the fact that he knows plenty of things about me.

'I don't know.'

The fact that I can't stop staring at him even when I have face blindness...

--Author's Point of View--

"Do you have it?" Yun Oh asked the girl from the same class as him.

Planning to lock the doors as they were told by the school staff who was in charge of securing the school rooms.

However, that person had some kind of an emergency so they asked these three students to do it instead.

"Oh, I think I dropped the keys." Min Seo replied as she checked.

"I will go back and re-trace my steps, I hope you don't mind if I leave you." she excused herself, counting each step she took on the way to the end of the hallway.

"The sun is slowly setting, is it okay to let her walk on her own in the dark?"

Sihyeon chilled while gazing at her white polished nails, leaning on the wall near the door in building D on the 2nd floor.

"I'm back! And here, I found it in the elevator after I looped around about six times." the other two stared at her, wondering if she had looped around that many times.

"I am not even exaggerating." she explained herself.

Hands up in the air to show her innocence.

"Okay, since we're done with building B, C, D, and E... Why don't we head to A?"

"Has there always been a fifth building?" Yun Oh was confused for a second there.

Taking the lead because he was the only male around, expected to protect the girls from any sort of harm.

'If there even is.' Sihyeon thought to herself.

On the other hand, Dan continued working by himself. At the same time, Honey touched every single thing she found interesting inside the music room as the blonde-haired boy locked the door in the recording studio to avoid further disturbances.

'Where could it be?'

'That thing that led me here, I still don't know anything about that melody.'

"This is the last floor, right? I want to go home now."

A female's voice echoed in the outer side of the room but Honey & Dan hadn't heard this for it was completely inaudible in their perspective.

"Honey Lou!" Dan opened the door, calling for the girl as he had a wide smile plastered on his face bearing good news to share with her. 'They're inside!'

Sihyeon grabbed the keys from Min Seo when they arrived in front of a different music room, swiftly running toward the one labeled as 'Vintage'.

"Are we already done here?" Min Seo finally caught up with two of her classmates, fixing the pink ribbon on her head.

"Quickly, let's leave now~" the older female, Sihyeon went behind the two and led them far from the locked music door.

"Do you ride the public bus often?" Yun Oh took out his hands from his pockets, grasping onto the pink ribbon girl's shoulder to suggest that she go along with him and Sihyeon.

"Oh, it's fine. I'm not allowed to enter anyone's car." she genuinely refused, believing that anyone around her could be planning something bad.

"Huh? You're old enough to know who to trust and have trust issues on."

His driver unlocked the doors of the vehicle as Sihyeon approached casually filling in the spot in the front seat, she contemplated a bit.

Yun Oh impatiently opened the door for Min Seo and tilted his head in a mannerly way to show her how trustworthy they were.

'I believe they are correct about that one though I haven't eaten anything since lunchtime so...' she nodded and gracefully showed her gratitude.

"So, where do you want to eat?" Sihyeon had her phone in their faces, showing them a few options they had that were close by.

"Eat? You two hang out together?" Min Seo was a little envious of Sihyeon.

"Yes, that is true. Again, where do you both want to eat?" she resumed picking a place for them before heading to their separate ways for the rest of the evening.

Meanwhile, Yun Oh was distracted by the glimpse from the room, especially when Sihyeon wrapped up their task back there.

'Is this when the development happens?' Yun Oh assumed.

"Hmmm... I am allergic to seafood but we can go anywhere."

Sihyeon noted the information and quietly chose the place on her own accord, having no hope of receiving an answer from their male friend.

"What was that?" he soon responded, and attentively listened to the girl on his left about their conversation earlier.

"Oh, I also have an allergy." he added.

"I am all the more informed about your 'allergy', Mr. Yun." the girl up front, booked a reservation for the four of them.

Including the driver at a fancy restaurant from a few yards away.

"It is settled, we are paying using Yun's credit card!"
