CHAPTER TWENTY-FIVE

“Lindy” I whispered disbelief clear as I glanced at her again, she tried to smile but ended grimacing as the cut on her lip seemed to reopen “don’t- “my face banged against the metal chair I sat on before I could even talk, I knew who it was even before I looked at her.

Her eyes flared and narrowed at the disrespect I displayed, I sucked my teeth that were coated in blood as I glared at her. It didn’t take much time to know who was behind this, and to the universe seemed to be on my side as a door opened up in the walls, and she walked out with Stacey behind her.

She smiled when she saw me; chained and weak. “You look like a master piece” she complimented and nodded her head causing a few threads of red to escape the bun on her head, I scoffed at the noticeable insult “I see you trying to be like your father” I said and a look of shock graced me as she turned to Doctor Lee questionably.
