Aftermath

With Prof. Heinrich having disappeared, leaving only evidence of his crimes and madness behind; the murder case was soon closed.

Only information the students were given was over a morning announcement. My days following were uneventful. Violent was an excellent partner. She was a perfect all-rounder. She could build, fix, analyze, code, or do anything a supporter needs too. Not as good as me, but still better than anyone else.

I took this time to train in my stored dreams. I tried to train shadow and light magic the most. They fit perfectly with my sandman and bogeyman forms. Over the month, I trained them well. So well, I decided to modify shadow magic into night magic. It cost a whole lot of ima, but I used the the ima gained from Prof. Heinrich. I modified light magic into day magic too. Technomancy was my secondary focus. I boosted its mastery with ima. I then boosted my physical limits, martial arts invisibility and flight ability. Sand manipulation became sand authority. The other magics I turned into ima and used that to get all-magic affinity. So now I can use any magic with enough practice. I kept prank magic though.

Thinking about my Ima cost relationship to magic, "If my theory is correct, gaining new magic schools with ima will be cheaper now through my compatibility with magic."

During this time, Violet and I became the student supporters of Bas. In the academy, it is supporters that choose their hero students. It is up to the hero student to accept or not though. Bas was more than happy to have us.

Today the hero students were doing some mock fights. Bas was going against Roman. The pitiful vampyr I had helped out a little. Being an OP dragon, Bas had all the momentum in the fight. Roman wasn't being damaged though. He was doing well to dodge the attacks. It looked to be Bas's fight until Roman baited him to overextend his attack and sent him back with a shadow kick.

I advise, "Bas, don't get overconfident, trap his movement with fire and then rush him."

I was the supporter in charge of real-time tactics in this match. Violent and I switch out every match.

Bas listened and did just that. Roman couldn't dodge the attack this this time. He could only block a dragon strong punch. He was thrown into the wall with a crack. Bas capitalized and got him by the neck and held against the wall.

"Dragons are truly OP...", I muttered to myself. "Good job Bas, the fight is won."

The combat teacher called the match as Bas's win. "Hell ya Faas. Another win for the team.", Bas says enthusiastically.

I agree, "Yup, now come back so Violet and fix up your suit. You know from last time you made her wait how unwise it is to keep a lady waiting."

Bas remembers how Violet made his suit constrict his armpits when isn't moving. It was extremely uncomfortable when he was fighting.

"Roger that Faas, I'm coming", he responds seriously.

Mock fights began this month in preparation for the West Academy Hero Tournament. The hero academies spend a week matching off their students against each other. The tournament serves as a final exam for the students too, where teachers grade their students on their performance. We're still a few months away, but our academies begins these early.

Night fell upon the academy and I wanted to visit Olympia city.

I take off, "Off I go."

he academy had a barrier of sorts, but it couldn't stop me nor detect me. My existence is just too unique for it. Plus I became sand to pass through it just in case.

The city was incredibly peaceful. No obvious crime or villainous activity. My sense couldn't be deceived though. After a little searching, I found a small drug ring stationed out of a dock. Which obviously means bribery. I wanted to send a message, so I broke the bones in their bodies with my sack as bogeyman. Then I made them all overdose on their own product via forced injection. I left behind one survivor though, and some black sand.

On my way back I visited the local hospital and gave some good dreams as Sandman.
