Leg paying year

As night fell, Everyone slept soundlessly.

The lights in the lab was still on, Jemma was wearing a white lab coat and glasses while studying the Gene Potion on a sophisticated Equipment. As a biologist, Although she is not a n expert in genetics and doesn't have much hope of getting an ability, she is very interested on how this Gene Potion produces abilities. Her demeanor was invested and focus, she didn't notice Kai entering the lab.

Kai didn't bother her and stood quietly watching Jemma's beautiful figure. Perhaps, because of her personality and career she rarely dresses herself. The white paralegal white coat covered her slender and straight legs. He remembered he told Jemma that her legs were beautiful and that she should wear leggings and more skirts or shorts. It seems she listened and changed her style, when they were on a mission she wore a fitting denim shorts.

"Ah..." Jemma raised her he was and saw Kai who was quietly observing her. She was startled then asked "How come your here?"

Kai smiled and walked towards her "I've given someone a gift but didn't get anything back, I came to see if someone forgot"

Jemma face slightly blushed "If I study the potion, then isn't it the best gift?"

"Thats true, but who knows how long it'll take. Then first pay interest? For example...How About taking that coat off? Are you not wearing those trousers for me? It a pity their covered by the coat" Kai said with a smile.

Simple T-shirt, denim shorts.

It seems youthful and the most important thing are her now revealed legs.

"Gorgeous" Kai stared eagerly making Jemma a little embarrassed.

"Have you heard of the saying, Leg Paying Year?" Kai moved closer to her and asked.

Jemma shook her head in confusion "I've not heard of it, what does it mean?"

Kai pointed at her leg "It means that these leg are enough for me to pay for a year. It sounds cheesy but there's absolutely no meaning of Demeaning. In short, your legs are really beautiful"

"Really?" Jemma didn't be alive him. She didn't feel this way herself and she doesn't listen to other's praises.

"Of course, It's beautiful and makes people feel pleased, I hope I'll get to see it for a lifetime" Kai paused, he said with a smile "If SHIELD is destroyed, why not join me? I also have a lab but there's no one trustworthy to manage. If you can join I'll hand it over to you"

"How can SHIELD get destroyed?" Jemma frowned, she had not really think of such possibility.

"Anything is possible, well what do you think?" Kai gaze at her seriously.

Jemma groan and nodded "If such a day were to come, then maybe...."

"Alright then"

Kai was satisfied and said "It's too not too late yet so get some rest, This Gene Potions not going anywhere so take your time"

"Then I will get to bed"

"Goodnight" Kai grabbed her waist and lifted her chin, seeing how she's not resisting Kai kissed her cheek.

"G-Goodnight" Jemma said with her face bright red.

Leaving the lab Kai went back to his room.

Three days later

In the past three days, Kai wasn't assign any mission and he didn't absorb Aether either so he studied the yellow crystal which was to accompany Quake or Jemma...well mostly Jemma.

Jemma is a strong and beautiful woman with a great personality, she is a really capable biologist which was why Kai wanted her to follow him.

Three days and three nights, She has made the initial progress and basically understands the formula, efficiency and so on. Because the abilities acquired from the Gene Potions are random she moved a to another aspect to understand the rule to ensure she gets an ability of her liking after consuming it.

Although there wasn't any progress, she still got some clues which was enough proof of her Talent and ability.

After three days of comfort, Kai was going to go back to the island base. Although things were handed to Blink, After all the whole island was his base and was impossible for one person to look over it.

"You want to go?"

Just when Kai was about to leave, Phil came over and asked.

Kai smiled a little "Are you worried I wouldn't keep my word?"

"Yes!" Phil nodded, he then said "I'm worried you'd suddenly run away and forget the promise to let me see your spaceship"

"Now's not a good time, There is a lot of things to do. If you could wait for me to settle down then I could invite you, how bout it?" Kai said.

Phil shrugged "Okay, then I'll see you later"
