Pepper

Leaving the plane, Kai flew at the speed of sound and quickly arrived at the West Coast Island. There was a lively scene on the island, construction were everywhere and Blink a portal to make an easier transportation.

Kai slowly descend from the sky.

"Boss, your back!"

Seeing Kai flying down Blink quickly greeted.

Kai looked at Blink who was sweating buckets and Said with concern "Don't work too hard"

"It's okay, this can be considered training my ability" Blink wipe her sweat on her face and said.

"How's the progress!" Kai knows that under her quiet personality she shows, she was quite stubborn so Kai didn't pursue this matter and asked about the progress.

According to Kai's vision, he not only want to build houses and other buildings on the island but also an underground structure.

"It's alright, if things go smoothly then it'll be completed in half a year" Blink thought and replied.

Half a year? Seems a little slow.

But with Blink alone, the three of them plus the workers can't go any faster, it seems he needs more people.

"Boss, somethings coming!" Blink interrupted his thinking and said.

Kai looked up and saw a ray of light in the distance.

"Tony? How come he's here?" Kai slight frowned, this man's not obsessed with the Dark Elf Spaceship, right?

"Asked the dark elf, how much farther is the technology compared to earth" Kai whispered to Blink and she directly opened a portal to the spaceship before heading in.

"It's you? Don't tell me you've come for the spaceship. If you are then you've wasted your trip" Kai brined while looking at iron man.

The iron man's helmet open but unexpectedly, it wasn't Tony and was instead Pepper.

Kai was a little worried seeing an unexpected guest instead of Tony.

"Sorry, I thought you were Tony" Kai said surprised.

Pepper smiled and waved her hand "It's alright"

"Mm...So are you looking for me?" Kai asked.

Pepper nodded "Yes, I know you are here and I specially came for you. I know Tony has been thinking about about your space ship but I've come here in private"

"Private? Hehe, aren't you afraid Tony will get jealous?" Kai smiled and jokingly said. He wonders why Pepper have come to find him in private.

Pepper suddenly said seriously "Mr. Su Zhan, I think you've misunderstood our relationship. I'm only his assistant, not his girlfriend"

"Oh...really?" Kai was a little surprise. Looking at what Tony thought of Pepper Kai thought they were a pair but I guess I was wrong. "I'm taking liberty, Haven't you...had intimate moments with him?"

"Of course not, I am his assistant nit his girlfriend!" Pepper said very very seriously "I only know him for a few years so I am also his friend but it's only limited to that. In fact, I've been looking for a new assistant for him but there aren't any suitable one for him. Because of what you did I'm here to thank you" (Friendzone!!!😬😬)

"Thank you? Because of extremis?"

"Yes!"

"But for me, it was live saving so I have come to thank you" Pepper insisted then hesitated for a moment before saying "Just, I don't know how to repay you"

"How bout devoting your life to me?" Kai said.

Pepper froze and didn't seem to think Kai would say that.

Kai followed up by saying "Of course, I am joking. If you really want to repay me how bout doing a little favor"

"What is it?"

"Tony should have a lot of suit that can be remote control. You see I'm building stuff here and I'm understaff so..."

"Alright, I'll tell him!!"

"Then many thanks, if he doesn't want to then it doesn't matter, I'll think of another way"

Pepper put on the helmet and a bang was heard before flying away.

Kai silently release an energy cover and waited for the smoke to dissipate. He couldn't help but mutter "It seems wether they're cars or iron suit, woman are terrible drivers"
