Some things never change

Waking up in the morning is so difficult. Both Ignis and I sleep well, which wasn't so obvious given his state last night.

I was supposed to depart early, but it's past breakfast time when I open my eyes. The camp is quiet, except for the snoring of the soldiers in the distance. A few sets of steps surround us, of those doing their duties no matter the day. The steps are light, a sign they aren't wearing any armour.

No one dares to come to disturb us, so I spend my first minutes awake staring at Ignis. It's getting more and more difficult to depart, and every excuse to stay is taken. However, I can't delay any longer. Lars also needs me, even more than Ignis does.

The wound is recovering, and it hasn't bled since Aida treated him. This is what she could do, and I'm not sure whether to risk exposing her to heal him completely. It's not like I have many secrets to hold right now. Just a couple.
