Chapter II

"If anything happens, give me a call Kyla Banana." Louise smiled as she ruffled the brunette's hair. Louise was the witty mood maker of the group, kind of like the life of the party. Her jokes keep them both sane and insane, she very close with Harry.

"We'll go ahead, Dylan, Kyla." Harry smiled as he hugged her.

"Bye guys!" Dylan waved while the brunette froze.

"Earth to Kyla?" Dylan laughed as he waved a hand in front of her best friend.

"He hugged me." Kyla stuttered.

"He hugged you, so what?" Dylan laughed.

"Dylan!" Kyla exclaimed smiling widely.

"Gosh, your admiration for Harry strengthens day by day." Dylan laughed as the two started walking to the field.

"Watch out!"

"What the hell?!" Dylan exclaimed as he yanked Kyla down before she got hit by a volleyball.

"Sorry!" Jade said as she walked over to the two.

"That was your cue Penny." The woman glared at the blonde.

"It's fine." Kyla chuckled.

"Where are you two off to?" Perrie asked. Both girls were their friends from the Seniors along with the boys.

"We're just waiting for Mom." Kyla chuckled as her eyes trailed on a player that was laughing by the Baseball field.

"Cam." Dylan called again, cutting the brunette off her trance.

"You're obviously looking at those Baseball players." Dylan grinned.

"Well, I was just watching how they play." Kyla said. She never really understood Baseball, nor is not oriented with the game that well.

"Aunt Sands is here though." Dylan said as both rushed to the car.

"Sorry Mom." Kyla smiled as she entered the car.

"No worries honey." Kyla then leaned her head on the window as she day dreamed about what happened a few minutes ago.

"He's just so charming Dyl! Ugh! Those dimples, his curly hair." Kyla groaned as she rested her head on her bed. It's been a few hours since they got home, and Kyla was still thinking of the curly haired boy.

"You're fantasizing too much I think you marked him." Dylan laughed.

"How I wish I did! That way we'll be soulmates!" Kyla exclaimed.

"Dylan what if I did?!" The brunette exclaimed.

"I have to tell mom about this!" Kyla said as she closed her laptop and rushed downstairs.

"Dinner mija." Sandra smiled as her daughter went to the kitchen.

"No Dad?" Sandra shook her head and gave her a soft smile.

"He's still at work with his group." Kyla frowned and slumped on her seat before smiling.

"What's up with you?" Sandra laughed.

"Mom, when Dad marked you what did he feel?"

"Interesting." Sandra chuckled.

"Well, he often thought about me, often dreamed of me, and even saw his future with me. Like there was some sort of connection."

"I see." Kyla said as she nodded her head, trying to hide her smile.

"How did you react when you found out?"

"Well, I laughed at first. But then realized, he was indeed right. There was a connection and I knew deep down I liked him too." Sandra smiled.

"What's with the sudden interest?" The older woman asked as she raised her eyebrow.

"Nothing, I was just curious and all."

That very night, Kyla found herself looking for her art materials, simply thinking of something to sketch. Kyla always had passion for arts, growing up with no sibling, she was used to distract herself with things she was able to find inside their house.

And by things, it was obviously her mother’s old art materials. She started drawing when she was seven, now she’s 16 and her skills had improved day by day. Kyla bit her lip, curious to see how the next day would turn out.

"Dylan, I swear I might've marked him." Kyla squealed as she walked with her friend.

"Ky, you've been saying that for a week now." The Danish laughed as the brunette stopped in her tracks.

"And I've been dreaming, and thinking of him for a week now! In one of my dreams we were on a date." Kyla exclaimed.

"Well if you did, how are you going to tell him?" Dylan asked.

"I didn't think that through." Kyla said.

"Hang on." The Danish said before he went over to one of their classmates that was calling her. The brunette sighed as she leaned on the bleachers.

"Look out!" A student yelled.

Kyla turned to where the voice was, her eyes widening as she realized a ball was flying to her. The brunette closed her eyes and covered her face preparing for impact, wincing when she heard the ball hit something.

"Are you ok?" An unfamiliar raspy voice asked, looking at Kyla who was covering her face.

"I'm alive?" The brunette said as she looked at her hands.

"You are." A soft chuckle emerged from the person in front of her.

"Thanks, I was scared the ball might hit me." Kyla chuckled before looking up.

Her eyes caught a pair of emerald green eyes that she swore she just saw for the first time. It was mesmerizing, the most beautiful green eyes she saw in her whole existence. Probably the only emerald green eyes she'll see. The brunette shook her head and took a step back, stepping on a stone.

"Shit!" Kyla exclaimed before she felt her body move downwards.

"Careful." The savior said as he held Kyla's waist, preventing her from falling. Kyla felt shivers down her spine as she held the savior's shoulder, her eyes examining the person's face.

"Are you really fine?" the person chuckled.

"I am." Kyla stuttered as she was pulled back up.

"I apologize for those idiots." Kyla felt her cheeks redden at the tension she was feeling while she felt the person's hand on her cheeks, and his hands, scanning it for any sort of injury, before smiling at her and catching her brown orbs once again. This person was something else.

Something felt different, as if she knew him-but she doesn't. It was the first time she encountered the student, and well...the interaction seemed to be something she'll clearly remember.

"I'll see you around Kyla. " The green-eyed guy smiled as he pats the brunette and walked away.

Kyla's eyes followed the figure, scanning every bit of details perfectly, from the raven's hair to his shoes. Her savior was walking back to his friends with the ball in his hand, gently tossing it up and down in an effortless way.

"Shit."
