True culprit

After finishing his talk with Thana Noah left to question the staff of the hospital.

"What did she say?" Asked Jake after seeing that his captain was done questioning the vampire princess.

The other two also couldn't help feeling interested.

"She said that the teacher died from overeating the candy." Said Noah with a perfectly straight face.

"Cough...Cough. What did she say?" The trio almost stumbled and fell when they heard what their captain said.

Noah didn't repeat himself, he just looked at the trio with a cold face for a few seconds before he continued walking.

"So, what now?" Asked Sophie.

"Let's just follow the captain's orders." Said Emanuel.

Meanwhile, Lucius brought Thana back into her room after they took a small walk in the garden.

Back in the room, two other young men were waiting for them with the same cold facial expressions, but the moment they saw Thana they couldn't help feeling softhearted.

"Julian, Silas, are you here as well? Lucius didn't tell me you were coming." Said the girl with a beautiful smile.

Both men greeted the girl with a warm smile before Julius stayed to play with his sister, while Silas went to the corner of the room with his older brother to talk.

"What happened?" Asked Silas with a serious expression.

"I'm not sure, but we need to take her from here. We should go back home, it's safer." Said Lucius with obvious killing intent.

4 years ago three brothers' adoptive parents Cecilia and Kieran Lomari, the king and queen of the vampire nation died in the tragedy, and their eldest son, Lucius took over as a king, but the truth was much darker.

The king and queen were killed and as their last wish, Lucius and his brothers started looking for their one and only biological daughter.

Unfortunately, before they managed to find her Thana was exposed and injured.

After a thorough investigation, they found out who was behind it all and destroyed everyone who participated in the schemes.

But they were unable to help their only sister as her mind was already damaged.

After finally finding her they became exceptionally overprotective and cautious about everything regarding Thana and they were not going to take the chances now either.

After finishing their conversation both Lucius and Silas got back to their sister and as they played with her they occasionally asked some questions to try and gain some kind of information from her.

"Thana." Called out Julian.

"Hmm"

"What happened today?"

"Anna came by today and another guy came and asked some questions."

"What did he ask?"

"He wanted to know what happened to Anna."

"Do you know what happened to Anna?" Asked Julian once again softly as he continued helping his sister to build a lego castle.

"Hmm."

"Can you tell brother what happened to Anna?"

"Anna ate too much candy and exploded." Said Thana with sparkly eyes as she imitated the explosion with her hands.

"Do you know what kind of candy it was and where Anna got it?"

"It was pink candy. I don't know where she got it."

"Thana, why did Anna eat so much candy?" Asked Julian.

This time Thana's movements paused a bit as he looked at Julian and the next second she smiled brighter than ever.

"Because I made her eat the candy." Said Thana and as if nothing happened continued playing, while the other three couldn't help but stop what they were doing and looked at their sister surprised.

Silas was the first to react after receiving the information.

"Why did you make her eat the candy?"

At this question Thana just looked at them and smiled without saying anything.

They knew they wouldn't be receiving any more information so decided not to ask more for now.

"By the way" Spoke Thana suddenly.

"Hmm?" Answered Lucius as he thought she wanted to say something more.

"It's not nice to spy on a girl in her bedroom detective." Said Thana as she turned her gaze towards a particular place in the room.

At the same time, a Special force group that was observing Thana through Sophie's abilities couldn't help shivering.

They were flabbergasted at the news they received and Sophie quickly stopped spying.

"To the hospital." Ordered Noah with an exceptionally grim face.

At the same time, Thana acted as if nothing happened.

Lucius, Silas, and Julian weren't worried that she might have killed Anna or that the whole special force now knew about it.

Vampire species were one of the strongest in the whole world and its royal family wasn't something to mess with.

Killing someone, even if she was one of the teachers at one of the top 10 supernatural schools was not a problem.

They also didn't judge Thana for killing someone or her reasons, but what worried them was her mental health.

20 minutes later Noah with 3 other special force members: Jake, Sophie, and another new member Silvia arrived at the hospital.

She had dark brown hair and beautiful hazel eyes. Small posture and cute bob haircut.

All this time Thana didn't say a word, no matter what her brothers asked about she just smiled and continued looking out the window.

When Noah came no one stopped him. He looked calm but no one knew what he was thinking about.

"You came quickly."

Thana was the first to break the silence.

"You are not mentally challenged are you."

It wasn't a question but a statement.

"I used to be one, but not anymore."

"Since when?"

"A few months already."

"What happened to Miss Anna Fletcher?" Asked Noah.

"I told you already, she ate too much candy. Well, at least that's what she called them."

Noah didn't make any comments. He just looked at Thana with a piercing gaze as if to catch some kind of clue, but he found nothing.

"Anna has been bringing her candy to me for years. Aren't you interested in why she died after eating it?" Asked Thana.

"Sure, but I am more interested in why you're exposing yourself."

"I wasn't going to, but after seeing you today I changed my mind." Said Thana.

"After seeing me?" This time Noah couldn't help but admit that he really couldn't see through Thana at all. She was like an endless mystery to him, one he was never going to solve. No matter how much he didn't want to admit he knew that his obsession and interest were triggered.
