Chapter 20 Let her go

Smith looked at Jane with gentler eyes, and his voice softened, "It's just a meal. We have business to talk, don't overthink about it!"

Jane frowned suspiciously, doubting it. Smith hadn't spoken to her in such a tone for a long time. No, She couldn't even remember how long it had been since she had seen Smith.

"You really have no feelings for her?" Jane wanted to confirm it again.

Smith paused for a while and said affirmatively, "Of course!" His eyes did not look at Lucy at all.

Jane squinted at Lucy , who was under her control, and suddenly curled her lips and smiled evilly, "In that case, let's get back together!"

Smith was stunned. He had never thought that Jane would threaten him. He glanced at Lucy calmly. Lucy looked very weak, but suddenly widened her eyes when she heard Jane's words.
