15. A Strange Ordeal.

There were a lot of happenings in the Castle and structure of Carmosa. A lot of drama, music, dance and fun and excitement that tempered the land.

At the age of twenty seven Petrelli Knight became a very skilled and successful Knight who had a good rapport with his Father King Aiglestar and all and sundry in the Land in truth and in words. And on the eleventh month of his age at twenty seven he tried to declare his achievements and experience in what seemed to be a strange experience and ordeal.

Petrelli Knight was discussing with his co-knights during the festival of Festbaby, his birthday and they were discussing challenging and brainstorming issues and they laughed and mocked at each other all seven of the Knights Templar and their Leader Petrelli Knight. They also drank sweet wine and ate savoury veals. Also they acted some drama and sang some melodious songs and tunes. That Petrelli Knight asked to be challenged by his colleagues, his Cohorts of Knights Templar.

Knight Folschaw and Petrelli Knight both struck a deal on who was wisest on reasoning capability and Folschaw asked Petrelli Knight to state all the capable laws of the Universe and he placed a bet that whoever won getting the right answer would get a 500 gold piece wager. Petrelli Knight tried to rack his brains in a bid to answer the question but could not fathom what the laws of the Universe were. Petrelli Knight tried and tried brainstorming the subject which he had once learned several years ago when he was exactly elevenears old being taught him by Sage Lormos. So Petrelli Knight lost in his game and relinquished five hundred gold pieces to Knight Folschaw who reiterated what the Laws of the Universe were from the foundation of the Earth to the types of planets in the Solar system. Petrelli Knight had found it difficult to remember or recall these strange laws which he was sure that he once knew and learnt.

Next in lines of ordeals was that of Knight wrestling and Petrelli Knight stood up in competition or conquest with Knight Gasficki. The Knight who had rare visionary talents was also a Thor Knight. Both Knights embarked on their horses simultaneously each Knight attempting to see who could throw either Knight down his Horse each using the back of his Lance or spear and riding towards each other. Petrelli Knight rode very fast on his Horse and very unsteadily that he lost his balance while in motion while he was trying to thrust the back of his spear to Knight Gasficki's side who was very balanced dodging Petrelli Knight's spear and rather thrusted his own spear at Petrelli Knight's side which action saw Petrelli Knight reeling to the ground. Petrelli Knight was amazed at his lose of this deal and slight competition and rising from where he fell on the field thought his health was failing him having lost two competitions having lost to the Thor Knight Gasficki in battle.

Also Petrelli Knight had a competition with Knight Pennick who was specifically gifted with the gift of touch and they both had a game of sending touches and Knight Pennick inquired from Petrelli Knight what weather was best suitable for the human body. Petrelli Knight not too sure or certain about the answer responded that it was during the rainy season. For Petrelli Knight thought Men would feel cool and rest as their pastimes. But to his surprise he lost also at this question for Knight Pennick made him know that the best weather season to survive in was during Sunshine or summer when one would be diligent up and strong for any task rather than sleep all day. One would be warm and reap harvests of gold and silver.

The fourth Knight the one gifted with the gift of smell and perception in his ordeal with Knignt Cuorthole tasked Petrelli Knight on what the best smell to be perceived were derived from whether food or perfume? Petrelli Knight thought the aroma of certain delicacies and savoury meals was best. But rather Knight Cuorthole proved to Petrelli Knight that the fragrance from perfumes smelled best. Again Petrelli Knight lost in his competition and lost some gold pieces. Making a shameful face as he resorted home to do some little more studies. Petrelli Knight knew he would make a sad Father if his Father heard about his strange ordeals in competition.
