Chapter 25 —The moment of truth

A raging slap landed upon Demetri's cheek. Her temples throbbed with rage.

How could he sacrifice her into Wyndell arms?

" How could you lie to me, Demetri?! How long have you been lying to me huh?!" she asked in hatred.

" Tell me!" She screamed and gave him another slap. He just stared at her with a guilty stare.

" Tell me the truth, were you the one who raped me then?! " she asked angrily while crying.

Roared upon irritation, she removed the button of his shirt. The truth was exposed to her. He's not shaggy at all. He wasn't really who raped her but Wyndell instead.

She squinted-eyed Wyndell's exposed body. He could not believe to know the truth.

" He's sick, Lilian", Demetri explained to her.

" When he was angry and feels jealous, he couldn't control himself. He did because he was angry with William," he added.

" That's not what I concern, Demetri. I ask you, why Wyndell is here! " she was deeply intrigued.

" You two have a conversation? A lame agreement to fooling me around! " Her vision started to blur.

" The contract, who did it come from? What's the reason why you even me offered to signed a contract! I sense that you have an agreement too with Wyndell. Tell me! Was William also involved in the agreement! You are just want to toy me? Did you train me just to deceive men for your selfish interest?! "she blurted out. She trembled of fury, distrust, and deception devouring her whole.

" An agreement is always an agreement, Lilian. I just follow the things stated in the agreement," he replied without emotion. She shot him a nerve-racking expression.

" I am still going to fulfill our 6 monthly agreement but I will not sign another agreement. Do what you want to do with me! Destroy my life! 'Cause, you were born to destroy my innocent personality! I have no desire but to live happily. Can't you just give me a bit to be happy? ”she cried out of pain.

" My right to be happy is my goal, Demetri. I'm desperately searching and claiming my rights over the people who want to see me in a deplorable state—then, the person whom I trust unfaithfully helping me just to me get down! " she said emphatically.

" If you can't make me live my dream, you'd better just kill me! I'm fucking tired of living like this! I'm tired of being submissive to everyone's supervision!" she wailed.

She quivers with anger, frustration, and remorse hugging her soul questioning why she is still alive in this world.

Ever since she was a child, she has experienced all sorts of agony. Their father left them and their mother committed suicide.

Their insensitive father came back and brought only Daisy and Ria, then adopted them into a wealthy family. Daniel and her left, need to work hard and suffering under the possession of a vituperative family. They were implacable of torturing and then they abandoned them like a pup.

Tears flows down as she looked at Wyndell, who had just woken up. He felt sorry for her. But she didn't need sympathy from the man who had ruined her life.

Wyndell is the reason why she's not with her children.

" Don't ever show me your dumb face, Wyndell. Because if you try to approach me again, I'll hate you forever," she deadly warned.

She reached for the red robe that lied on the rack and recklessly wearing it.

She left the room, abandoned the two fuckin' douche. She took the elevator out of Sylvestre Enterprises building alone.

She completely understands, she needs to be strict in terms of trusting men.

She took a cab back to the condominium. While she was on the trip, her hatred for men who abused her character couldn't be eliminated from her mind.

Why does destiny seem to push her to meet with those men who only use her for their selfish preferences?

After she paid for the taxi fare, she quickly got on the elevator. She stared at William's sudden appearance. She shot a cold stare at him.

He's no different from Wyndell and Demetrius' hostile characters.

He moved, motioned to her to get inside first. She wasn't in the mood to communicate with selfish people. She ignored him until they reached their destination. William quietly followed her.

" Did something bothering you?" He asked worriedly when she was about to swipe the card.

" You don't fucking care," she fixedly answered before she entered the unit.

She felt miserable when she lay down on the bed. Her body seems so heavy, thinking about Demetri who was only helping her for his own sake.

Gambling for toying other people's feelings? Maybe that's the agreement Demetri wants to happen. He will not venture to give his stake if there are no benefits will next.

They are all users!

Pain gripped her chest. Her throat thickened with sobs. She can no longer hold her sobs. Sorrows always follow after a little hope spring out on her summer.

She woke up early so she could leave the condominium ahead, she's going to chase Alice again. She won't ever stop chasing her just to get her daughter.

When the door opened, she was stunned when she saw Wyndell lying on the floor all night. He curled up on the frigid floor. William came out of the other room just in time, perhaps he was surprised to saw Wyndell's lied on the floor in front of the doorway.

She strode over his lying body, and walk away. She doesn't have enough time to have a conversation with Wyndell. Mercifully, William approached Wyndell's whereabouts and woke him up with his foot.

He immediately opened his eyes and holds his throbbing head. He made his lookup.

" Where's L-Lilian?" he asked. William pouted, pointing to Lilian walking the distance to the elevator.

He hastily stood up and ran after Lilian. He also follows and unleashed large strides to overtake Wyndell.

Run, stupid guy!

He supports him and carries him on his shoulders so that he can walk properly. He seemed to have been drunk and had been waiting all night to have words with Lilian.

He's slowly losing his sanity!
