Woke up today to find a rabbit in one of my traps. Nothing of it will go to waste. I had Abby skin it, so she gets the practice. We ate a good portion of the meat, and I'll cook the bones later to flavor the last of our rice.

Our camp is small but setup well. We are nearly invisible from twenty yards out due to the camou we hung on the netting. You'd have to literally stumble onto the camp to find it. All of our possessions are here, so we need to keep it all safe.

I spotted the bandit group again last night. They are still searching for their friend I killed a few days ago. I am considering going on the offensive in the next day or so if they continue to search for me and Abby. They got within a hundred yards of our camp. Too close for comfort. I am surprised they haven't become zombie food with all the noise they make through the woods. Very untrained and undisciplined.

In dire straits today but still alive. Bandits spotted me while I was foraging. Had no choice but to fight. They came at me like wild animals. The only reason I'm still alive is that they underestimated me. Had the four of them follow me close for a quarter mile toward the last known position of a group of zombies I spotted earlier in the day. Once I got the zombies all stirred up, I broke line-of-sight and scaled a tree. The bandits ran right into the zombies but managed to kill them all and only suffer one casualty. I had to spend the last of my rounds on two of them and did the last one with my machete. Was really drained after the fight, and the bandits only had a few cans of food between them.
