"I know that you are not interested in zombies but this city really needs protection, if all the other internet reports were true then it means that sooner or later a horse might just coming at us." Alex said
"Do I have a say in this?" Owen said but Alex totally ignored him
"Okay great." Owen said
"Horde?" What do you mean horde?" Astolfo asked as he haven't been updated with the news
Feeling useless, Brian scrolled through the internet looking for the recent news report where it talks about the reports of zombie attacks. He played the video on a loudspeaker so that everyone in the room could hear it.
"That's not exactly the report I'm talking about but that's more legit cause it came from the news." Alex said
The news stated "Reports of an ongoing undead attack has been circulating over the city of plants also known as city AB it is also reported that it's reported that the neighboring cities were also affected by this event. Additional news about the undead a group of mindless people started going around on groups attacking people outside the city. If you are to encounter a creature who happens to have nerves popping out of their foreheads then please be cautious as we don't know whether these undead attack reports are real." the news end there
"That's a huge mindfuck cause if I hadn't seen the zombies myself then I wouldn't have believed it." Astolfo said
"Yea especially if this asshole named Alex let me out to talk." Owen said
"What's your problem?!" Alex accidentally said out loud
"I'm not talking to you guys." Alex said as he realizes that everyone suddenly looked at him
'This situation of ours is so damn hard.' Alex thought
"Let me out, dude! I seriously want to talk about the zombies especially as I'm the one who experienced being attacked by them." Owen said
"Right..."
The two switched and in front of the others, they could see Alex turned to Owen in a quick second.
Owen then spins for once and accidentally hits a mug making it fall to the floor broken. His expression completely says that he didn't do it on purpose. He just spun back and acted as nothing happened.
"Sorry about the mug Brian but we must start talking about what I know about the zombies." Owen said now acting as a teacher
"First off let's talk about their overall speed, not all zombies move fast the slow ones move really slow that you didn't even need to run away from them you can just smack them in the head but their hands move really quick despite their legs moving like a toy car."
"Now the fast ones, they run as fast as Alex which is something that is seriously annoying plus they are so flexible and they don't seem to be bothered by pain cause when I hit one of them by their legs that Ahole still managed to jump to me." Owen then ends his words with that
"Is that all you have to say?" Alex said
"Ye of course." Owen replied
"I should've probably stayed outside, that's literally what's obvious." Alex said
'Just want to be outside man but of course, you'll be the one taking over when we're bitten right?'
"Haha, Nice joke." Alex said sarcastically
"Bro you seriously sound weird, could you just warn us before you start talking, I know that is a hard one to get used to but please warn us before talking to each other, Also tell that to Alex." Brian said
"I, We definitely won't do that." Owen said
"So, These zombies are like the video game-like creatures except no giants?" Quinn said
"I'm surprised you know about video games." Owen said this as he thinks that Quinn acts like an old man and forgets about time like Count Dracula.
"I'm not some sort of caveman." Quinn replied being annoyed
'So he really does have a childish attitude.' Astolfo thought
Astolfo still observes Quinn as he really wants to cherish these little moments with the true number 2. Based on what Astolfo remembers, Quinn is originally on par with the world's number 1 but he was placed to 2 due to him not following the others of a secret someone, not even his brothers Rusian and Chekov know. Despite his strengths and needs, he decided to hide from the public for unknown reasons, rumors have it that he is doing it to avoid the secret someone or he has done something and wants to cover it up.
"Hey, Astolfo! Are you just gonna stare into us like that?" Quinn said
"Did he just call the number 3 by its very name?! Oh my god, he did didn't he?" Brian said now looking at Amyrtha
"Is there a problem with that?" Amyrtha asked
"Your boyfriend isn't even on the top 20! How can he talk to number 3 so casually." Brian said
Amyrtha just showed a grin and didn't reply.
"I'm sorry if I disturbed you, people, by staring at you all but I just can't think of a reason as to why the original number 2 is friends with someone who's been used as a lab subject without him even noticing it." Astolfo said
"That's exactly the reason why I'm friend with this idiot -s." Quinn said pointing at Owen
Owen just shrugged his shoulders not knowing what this talk is all about now.
"We were just talking about zombies a few seconds ago and now words were not familiar with is coming out of their mouths, looks like you befriending Quinn is a good thing." Alex said which left Owen in confusion.
"But I still don't understand why, 8 years ago, you are a prodigy who rose the ranks so fast but decided to hide inside an old mansion and then you get friends with someone who will be a huge problem in the future." Astolfo said
"Problem?" Brian and Quinn said
"Looks like you people don't know the true nature of Altair."
