Huesa's (Part 2)
Seeing the creature dead, Quinn let out a huge sigh. He realized how hard it must be for hunters to deal with mutated animals.
Young Quinn's heartbeat turned back to normal as he can no longer see the deceased bear to be a threat. He walks closely to see the bear's corpse and he notices the blood squirting out of its body.
He gets closer and there he could a see coin a stuck on its flesh. He slowly grabbed it and looked at the writings punched on it "Charlie Blood." The coin shows.
"Is this some cult stamp?" Quinn asked to himself
He hid it on his pocket and proceeded to go back home.
Back at the Huesa Mansion, Aliciera and Douglas are having an argument due to his decision to let their youngest child to use a gun rather than study.
"I just cannot understand you! Why the hell would you let Quinn touch a gun, especially one that is made by your airheaded father!" Aliciera shouted
"Quinn has to grow, studying at home won't do him any good so let us have experience teach him the ropes." Douglas said
"What will you do if something happens to him?" Aliciera said
"I will take full responsibility and besides don't you even trust your son that he'll succeed to whatever he plans on using that gun on." Douglas said
Aliciera was lost at words as she realized how right Douglas was. She just sat on the bed and decided to stop arguing with her husband.
"Good night." Douglas said as he closed his eyes
At the other side of the house, Quinn is sneaking his way in of the mansion with his dirty clothing. His clothes were all bloodied and even have specks on it. He walks as quietly as he can but he has forgotten one thing, the doors of their houses make a screeching sound once moved.
"Darn it." He muttered
He closes the door as slowly as he can but the screeching sound just echoes through the hallway. He cringes as the sounds resonated on his ears for a couple of times.
"Why did dad choose this kind of door."
He manage to get back to his room and carefully shut the door as to make sure no sound would be made. He planned on changing clothes but due to the long walk, he is so tired his body just fell on the bed.
Despite the cold night, he managed to sleep peacefully.
The morning has arrived and Shantel got out of her room just to be greeted by the floor having reddish brown footmarks on the hallway.
She was about to scream but the door of Cesar's room opened. She rushed over to Cesar and showed him the footmarks on the floor.
Cesar was also in shock as they didn't heard the alarm going on. He started thinking that there is a thief who knew the house's security measures.
"I'm gonna tell mom and dad." Shantel said as she go off
Cesar went to where the footmarks end and realized that It continues inside his brother's bed. He opened the door to see Quinn sleeping soundly with a blanket thrown to the floor.
He just stood there being clueless to what happened. His parents and Shantel arrived at the scene and they can see Quinn's room and started to become clueless to what possibly happened.
"Quinn!" Aliciera shouted as she run off inside the room to wake up her son.
"Hmm, yes mom?" Quinn said as he slowly opened his eyes
'I guess he is outside what I originally expected, he truly have the Huesa blood inside of him.' Douglas thought now with a smile forming on his face.
"Dad why are you smiling?" Shantel asked
Ignoring the question, Douglas went it and started clapping and hugged Quinn as Quinn's on his reach.
The other three were clueless as to why Douglas did this.
"How could you be so happy seeing your son like this?" Aliciera said
"Tell me Quinn, how did you do it, or did you do it?" Douglas asked
"What do you mean he did it?" Aliciera said "Do you even care for Quinn?!" She shouted
"I don't know whether it's the thing but I managed to make the bullet delay its combustion so the impact would be very loud." Quinn said as he rubbed his eyes
"That's my boy, anyway I heard the door screeching last night so I figured It is you." Douglas said
"You sneaked out?" Shantel said
"Cool." Cesar said
"You sneaked out?!" Aliciera said on a more dramatic manner.
"I just want to get used to the gun so I used it last night, I even killed a mutated bear!" Quinn bragged
"Cool." Shantel and Cesar said
"Dear, don't scold Quinn for this, what he did last night was make progress not to indulge himself with delusions." Douglas said with a smile
"Sure but I will surely shout at you later after breakfast, Quinn change your clothes and as punishment you get to clean the whole house." Aliciera said
Aliciera and Douglas was about to reach the door and Quinn just stood up, he hasn't even took a step and all of a sudden, he fell down unconscious. Aliciera and Douglas rushed to Quinn's aid. They tried to wake him up and asked the other two siblings to call for their own medical team.
"Wake up Quinn wake up." Douglas said
'Please tell me it's not what I think it is.' Douglas thought
Douglas raised Quinn's t-shirt and noticed his upper abdomen is somewhat color violet. His sweat started to accumulate as he took a grasp of what he is seeing right now.
"It's.. internal bleeding." Douglas said on a low voice
"I told you! Quinn's life might get in danger when he gets ahold of that weapon!" Aliciera shouted as she carry her sons head on her lap.
'But still, Quinn broke the boundaries of being a 7 years old.'
