Clash of different styles

The blood the recruiter managed to get the little girl back into his sights once more.

Previously the girls movements allowed her to avoid his line of sight which allowed her to deal a deep cut to his wrist.

To a martial artist one's tendons were very important for their practice and utilising if their strength so if they were damaged their future could be affected greatly.

The tendons in the arms and hands help hold a weapon and be able to utilise grabbing, palm and fist techniques.

The tendons in the legs help to stabilise the core and keep the body in balance, if they are severed then standing up would be difficult even for a member of the blood sect.

Even after healing their wounds they would still experience the pain from the after effects and wouldn't be able to use the strength they could previously display without straining their injury.

What Ki had done to his wrist during the first attack was essentially cutting off his path in martial arts.

Ki noticed that he wished to get her back into his sights and how he turned the sword facing inwards.

His left wrist was cut and Ki stood on the inner part of his swords path after she cut it.

His right hand wielded his sword and swung it to the side from the right towards his left side aiming to behead her.

Agnes saw this on the wall and her eyes showed fear when the confrontation began and then saw the first exchange her eyes lit up with astonishment and pride. "Go little Ki, your grandmother is proud of you!"

Isaac stood beside her looking at the three separate group battles and nodded his head. "The archers are to support in a similar formation according the the numbers of those on the ground. Four to the left and right while two remain in the middle. Since the fights are close ranged now try to time and aim your attacks more carefully in order to not hit your allies."

The archers nodded and went to position themselves while putting a new arrow onto the bow string.

On the left the blood sect group of four were struggling to find a way forward to attack the masked spear bearers.

In their attempts to slip through the attacks and make a counter attack one of them suddenly stopped in their tracks suddenly.

A barrage of sword thrusts suddenly struck at the woman who thought she could succeed.

Marilyn's swordsmanship focussed on precise and ferocious sword thrusts with her thin longsword along with her thin dagger, this helped to make up for the distance problems of the masked spear bearers.

Soon the woman from the blood sect could not defend against the sudden attacks and then the tip of the sword entered their throat.

To finish the attack the sword turned while stuck in her throat and exited with a slashing movement and then retreated backwards again.

The woman soon fell back as the blood flowed from her wounds and the large damage to her throat, during her final moments of consciousness she thought to herself. 'Such a fast and deadly sword.'

Soon followed a tilt in the power struggle allowing the spear bearers to take advantage of the remaining of the invaders.

The blood sect group lost their confidence after losing their companion to the supporting swordswoman, although they struggled to survive the arrows and spears finished them off.

On the right side the blood sect were putting pressure onto the group of masked spear bearers.

They began to advance forward and push the masked group back a little but suddenly a large scimitar suddenly clashed heavily against one of the men standing on the outer parts of their groups formation.

Rashida appeared raising her large and heavy scimitar waving it like she was performing a water sword dance.

Her first clash with the enemy was a heavy and slash but then followed was a turn of her body where she gained momentum from her first slash and then used it all in her next slash.

She used her strength gained from practicing the blood Buddha qi art to help to wield her large and heavy scimitar while dancing around her enemy looking for a chance to overpower them or slash at an opening.

The second slash knocked the enemy back and made them lose their balance.

Soon her third slash landed and broke the enemies weapon apart as they tried to block the slash but then the scimitar slashed through their body cleanly from between their neck and shoulder to just above the waist which left behind a very deep wound.

The insides of the person attacked were disrupted heavily, their ribs were broken or cut apart, their lungs had been cut and several blood vessels close to the heart had been slashed apart.

As soon as the man received the slash to their body they immediately fell backwards and died.

After his death the blood sects group of four became three and lost their momentum.

Soon they were pushed back once more and were brought down by either their fatigue, a spear thrust or an arrow.

The village head tried his best to fight with a crazed look in his eyes while supported by the other villager.

Soon he found an opportunity, they both stood in the same place so the spears were narrowly targeted.

He pushed the remaining villager into the path of both spears and rushed forward with the pitchfork in hand.

A crazy look appeared in his eyes as he thrust his pitchfork towards the chest of the masked spear wielder.

Suddenly the hand on the spear loosened and the masked man dodged the thrust of pitchfork.

Another masked man followed their actions dropping their spear and rushed towards the village head.

They both figured out the path of the thrust so closed the distance and held onto the village heads arms.

Soon followed was the sound of snapping bones within the village heads arms as he was subdued to the ground by the two masked men.

One of the masked men began to break the arms and legs of the village head who was laying on the ground and spoke up. "Did you really think that little trick would of worked on us? We have been training by fighting each other everyday. Even if we cannot wield our spears we are familiar with how spears or similar weapons work and how to avoid them. The moment you thought you could gain an advantage by removing our use of weapons while you still had your pitchfork was when you underestimated us and lost this battle."

The village head was quickly subdued and captured by the group of two masked people.

Ki staggered forwards as if she had tripped on something when the sword slash came towards her neck.

Ki began bending her body forwards after almost falling and then turned her body and her footsteps to help with catching her balance once more.

Her body turned to move in a circular motion going into a sitting position the more she turned.

Soon she used this motion to slash at another part of the blood sects recruiters body, this time she targeted the back of his legs near his ankle severing the tendons.

"Ah…" the blood sects recruiter grit his teeth and tried to steady himself but the momentum from the sword swing and the cut to his left foots tendons disrupted his balance.

He soon fell sideways and tried to support his fall with his left arms which only caused him more pain to his already injured hand.

The pain was unbearable as he landed in a weird manner and lost the grip of his sword.

Meanwhile Ki rolled from her seating position to get out of the path of the falling man and slashed towards the back of his other leg just near the ankle as his leg was currently still not yet completely fallen to the ground after his body suddenly fell to the left side.

The two legs supporting his body were heavily injured and unable to support him to stand, his left arm was damaged from the previous slash and the damage from the fall.

The blood sects recruiter grit his teeth and his vision landed on his fallen sword with his now blurring vision.

He did his best to crawl forward when sudden light footsteps appeared before him.

Suddenly a piercing and burning pain erupted on his outstretched hand, his hand had been pierced by Ki's sword which pinned him to the ground. "Spare..me.. pl.."

Ki shook her head and walked towards the sword on the ground and lifted it up before walking over to the blood sects recruiter who barely maintained his consciousness.

"I told you. I would capture you. You won't be needing these things anymore, you should thank your ability to heal from wounds. You may not be able to regrow a limb but at least you can close up the wound." Ki lifted the sword and then removed his hand completely from his body.

She noticed that the man had passed out from the pain inflicted and went on to remove his other hand. 'Tch.. so now he passes out.'
