Blood Sect Base #3

He had seen that flicker or glow of red in the eyes of his fellow blood sect members when they have entered a murderous state but it was far more different and easily noticed when used by someone without their sects blood red eyes.

However the glow in the person's eyes suggests that the person opposite him has a high enough purity of Blood Qi that should only be equal to the sect leader or the heir who was succeeding his place.

This was something that was impossible unless the Sect Leaders of the past had unknowingly broken their own rules and leaked their Qi Arts outside of the sect.

There was also the possibility that the sect leader may also be raising a replacement heir in case of any accidents with his current heir but with the sect leaders personality, it was something he would not have done unless the sect was in a desperate situation and splitting up several people who would be the new heir candidates to send them to different places to rebuild the sect from scratch was the only option left available.

He had too much confidence in his heir so he would not even think to raise another heir within this generation and leave the passing on of the sect leaders techniques to his heir when they find someone worthy enough to take over after themselves.

The blood tribe never showed such characteristics either so he was convinced that the person opposite him was using his sects own martial arts.

Not only did she have the characteristics of a martial artist but she also had red glowing patterns on her body resembling those of the Blood Tribe and the characteristic dot marking of the Gu Clan under her eyelid.

He had never witnessed so many abilities used together at once so he was fearful of letting down his guard but although he knew this young girl may seem to be weaker than him, she seemed to have her own cards in hand which she could use against him that he had previously believed to be impossible to mix together.

He warily looked at her and spoke back. "An abomination.. perhaps.."

In his eyes was an existence that should not remain otherwise it will bring great trouble in the future to their sect and many others who became her targets.

If given enough time to grow further, she would be a great threat to the sect leader and heir.

Such a person who had many abilities and may also have the support of the Eastern clans and tribes is dangerous enough on its own but there was still the strangeness in how their sects leader or heir only martial arts had somehow appeared on her body.

The blood within the room began to travel towards the remaining people who had struggled to live during this battle and covered their heads with blood spheres and began to compress around their heads.

Not only did they have the feeling of drowning but they had a high pressure of poisonous blood being compressed on their head which caused them to feel as if they were deep underwater and their bodies were unable to handle being so far down.

The addition of the poison quickly added to killing them even mire quickly as it entered into their eyes, nose, ears and mouth as they drowned.

Seeing that there was no longer any interferences with herself and the elder, she moved her hand forward with her sword to take up a battle stance as the remaining blood was drained from the remaining bodies and gathered around her and the corpse puppets bodies without touching them.

Right away, Ki's puppet ran out of the formation and crashed against the blood qi shield with all of its strength and endurance that its body possessed.

The other corpse puppets joined in destroying the shield while Ki directed the blood in the area to clash against the blood qi shield slowly weakening it and corrupting the blood qi used to form it.

The more damage that was dealt towards the shield, the more qi was consumed by the elder at each passing moment.

He had very few options left…

He could either continue to hide and hope his enemies endurance is less than his own or he could wait for his chance when he spots a change in the formation of the corpse puppets and a safe path where there is no blood nearby.

As the corpse puppets and blood was attacking his shield, he noticed towards the back of the room that Ki had begun to slowly walk forward towards him while taking another drink from her flask but he steps became a little more unstable as she continued to move and drink.

The elder took one more final hit before he gave up the protection of his shield and moved towards Ki at a fast speed while breaking past the corpse puppets.

The sword in his hand moved like a sharp and deadly thorn as it was coated in his solid blood qi.

The main martial arts of the sect that focusses their power into their weapons while trading lethal blows against their opponent in exchange for smaller injuries on their own body just so that they can land one fatal strike, only now he was an unrestrained elder who had shown no mercy to his enemy no matter how much weaker they seemed to appear… he would risk his life once again to make sure that the sect does not suffer from this unknown enemy.

His blood red eyes shone a bloody red glow as his murderous intentions overflowed.

As he got closer, his opponent moved strangely and let out a drunken giggle as she narrowly avoided to fatal stab as she looked to have fallen slightly to the side unpredictably.

The next moment her own sword had moved to clash against the elders waist as he passed by but a subtle bloody qi covered his body just in time to block the attack.

Unfortunately for him, Evil is a high grade of sword and very sharp so even with the influence of his solidified blood qi softening and reducing the damage done by the slash, it was still able to harm him and produce a wound on his waist.

Blood began to spill from his wound as if being drained but as an elder of the blood sect with a high vitality, he would not go down so easily as the others.

His body began to heal quicker than the average person who had fought before himself so not too much was able to escape from his body.

Ki stepped back and circled him with disorderly drunken footwork and awaited his approach once again while another wave of attacks came from her puppet and the other puppets.

The poisoned blood began to chase after the elder after he had broken past it and began to surround him and clash against his bloody qi shield again.

As a former Blood Sect elder, Ki had access to their martial arts books and had read a great deal of their books and scrolls so she knew their forms and movements by heart.

She also knew their way of fighting against someone they wished to eliminate immediately so she was able to predict her enemies movements even if they may be more powerful than herself in realm and the amount of qi they possess.

After a couple of exchanges and being put under pressure by her enemies desperate attempts to bring her down, she continued to hone her swordsmanship and drunken forms a step further under the strong pressure of her opponent who was a realm higher than herself.

The continued support of the puppets and poisonous blood also helped to keep him distracted and unable to gain enough of a chance to gain enough familiarity when fighting with her to be able to spot a chance to kill her.

The constantly disrupted flow of the fight let her continue to gain control of the fight and wear down the elder.

Another dodge followed with another cut to his body which healed once again as he raised his shield again to heal.

He was visibly weaker than before and showing that he had been affected by all of the blood lost.

Ki stood opposite him and smiled calmly under her lower half face mask. "Don't you find something strange?"

Her tone was as if she was talking to a child who had failed to spot where they had failed during an exam.

She continued and spoke in a ridiculing voice. "Why are you not poisoned?"

If she wanted to, he would have long been dead if she had coated her sword with the poisonous blood but even now he remained alive.

Her tone of voice was used to talk down to and mock him for failing to notice this.

The elders eyes clouded over with doubt and worry. "You were playing with me this whole time?!"
