Three vs One

After dealing with the two men, Ki continued her way further down the mountain as she was moving with swift footsteps.

There were two straight, sharp and pointed blades that had been retrieved from the dead which were held tightly in her hands.

The length could not match up to her own sword but they were still longer than a dagger or knife.

The quality of them were quite low but they would be enough for her to make use of even if it was just temporary.

Another three figures had started to become clearer as she had got closer to them with each footstep.

Her footsteps were silent and she made little noise as she closed the distance and approached them but it was still not enough to stop them from spotting her.

"Unknown person approaching!"

"State your affiliation!"

"She is not one of ours, just kill or capture as ordered."

"Yes boss!"

"Come here missy!"

"Wait why is she coming towards us so confidently?"

They had ran across the mountain terrain that was a little slippery and some other locations had their feet dig into the snow but they seemed familiar with it so it did not slow them down too much.

Each of them carried straight blades that were sharpest on the end which were most suitable for stabbing rather than slashing or cutting.

The use of them were very straightforward and the techniques that they started to use were very simple.

Each of them prepared a simple thrusting movement as they ran forward and then tightened their arms up with more power the closer that they got to Ki.

The more that they noticed her speed and how quickly she had been moving, the more vigilant and focused they became.

They may have noticed her earlier and looked down on her due to her gender but once they had noticed how quick and agile she was, they had started to take her more seriously and aimed for more powerful and lethal attacks to bring her down.

One split off to the left, one stayed on the front and the other had went to the right as they started to coordinate their movements.

They appeared close to Ki from three different locations as a thrust came from her front and two sides which made it difficult for some people to be able to avoid.

Even if a person was able to avoid one or two of the lethal attacks, most would have still been hit by one of them and would have suffered some form of wound.

The path forward was cut off and the others blades were restricting the movements further of those that had been trapped within so it made it difficult to retreat.

The body of Ki was very light and agile as she had shown no hesitation when she was met with the attacks from all three directions.

Her body lowered quickly and slid across the hard and slippery ground with her body arched backward as the blade had passed over her chin.

Her greyish blue eyes had shone coldly as she thought to herself. 'I estimate these three to be around second or first rate martial artists. Not good enough to be a threat to me.'

One blade moved and was thrust forward accurately towards the chest of the man in front of her. "Ugh.."

Her speed and momentum that had been built up had continued as she slid forward so that helped to push the blade into his chest further.

His body had worked as a way to stabilise and stop herself once the blade could not go in anymore and he was losing his balance.

Ki pushed the blade away which caused him to fall back onto the cold and hard ground with the blade still sticking out of his chest.

Two blades came from behind her from two sides which showed the two men had continued their assault even when they had been left momentarily shocked that she had killed one of them so quickly.

Their lives were on the line so they could only keep fighting once the battle had started.

Since their ally had been killed, the battle had already gone down a path of no return.

Most people usually paused or made more predictable movements once they had completed a technique or finished someone off so they were usually more vulnerable to sudden attacks once they had just dealt with someone.

Ki had her back exposed to them so it was a perfect opportunity to make up for their previous failure. "Ha!"

"Die!"

The body of Ki had moved strangely and gained a little distance away from the two placed where the two blades had been thrust.

Her own blade met the point where they met which caused them to come to a halt. "Naive."

Ki had been in many life and death battles so she was not some amateur that could be so easily taken down by such people especially when it came to experience and techniques.

She had predicted the paths of their blades by judging which parts of her body they would target as they would go in for the kill.

She knew where they were and had still been vigilant to her surroundings so the path of their blades would travel from there towards her previous position.

The blade in her hand had caught theirs as they met up before turning her blade to knock theirs upwards.

Her body moved close to the person on her side and sent out a palm strike towards their chest that was followed by a bone cracking noise.

His body was knocked further away from her and landed on the ground. "Cough.. guh."

Her body turned around and threw out the blade which found itself pierced into the body of the other man who stood their with wide eyes and disbelief shown on his face. "Wha.."

All three of them were dealt with quickly with little effort being used so the journey down the mountain for Ki was not slowed down by too much.
