Alert: Master Chaaya has opened a C-rank gate

We left the gate after defeating the spider. I didn't level up though which is disappointing.

"Shall we do another one?"

"What? We can do more than one?" I do need to keep leveling up and one gate isn't doing much anymore.

"Of course!" We walked over to another door and Chaaya started glowing, opening the door.

C-rank? Shit I thought there were only D-rank in this area?

"No wait!" but i was too late. She walked into the gate. I sprinted after her running through the doors before they slammed behind me.

I opened my eyes in a camp. It was a large wooden fort full of what looked like orcs or goblins' they towered over us. We were barely taller than their legs. The first came close to me and kicked me in the stomach. Even with my increased defence I flew backwards into a wooden wall. Another orc picked chaaya up, her body squirming in his hands.

"NOOOO!" I yelled it at the top of my voice, I didn't think. There was only one thing controlling my movements, Instincts.

'Alert:Skill activated - "Lightning rush" '

I zigzagged up the orcs body cutting his legs off and his arm Chaaya dropping to the ground. Then grabbing her I sprinted off into the woods surrounding the fort.

'Alert: Mp cooldown 10 secs.'

'Alert: Rhy has killed C-rank Orc'

"Can you boost my mana and speed simultaneously?"

"Wh… what um oh yes I think I can."

"Good on my command, do it."

I pushed her to the ground behind a tree and readied my sword stepping infront of her.

Then as they pushed past the trees like grass the Orcs appeared. There were four of them. The first smiled a demonic smile and walked slowly over to us.

"Alert: Mp cooldown 3 secs"

It swung it's sword across to my chest, the massive blade sweaping across the ground and connecting with my broadsword as I hastily blocked, the blade shattered my broadsword but not killing me. The black steel falling to the ground like iron snow.

"Now!"

My body surged with power, my mana capacity was doubled and I sprinted up the orcs blade leaving my broken sword in it's eye. Then equipping my old sword I jumped into the air looking at the head of the last three orcs waiting for their heads to line up until finally.

'Alert:Skill activated - "Lightning rush" '

I was behind them leaving three heads to smash to the ground. But the buff wore off. The rippled through my body I fell to the floor clutching my chest. The last orc was standing over me it's blade held like an executioner. Blood trickled from it's eye. My blade still lodged in it's right eye. I picked myself up straining from the after effect. I ran as fast as I could to the right, the pain cutting through me. I disappeared from the orcs' vision. Then I tried as hard as I could to activate my skill.

'Alert:Skill activated - "Lightning rush" '

I was in the orcs face now the skill hadn't worked but it was good enough I stabbed him in the chest with my sword and pressed down as hard as I could opening his rib cage and slicing down the bone blood showering me and organs dripping out of the open wound. The Orc dropped to the ground and I ripped my broken sword from its eye.

'Alert: Rhy has killed C-rank Orc'

'Alert: Rhy has reached level fifteen and gained rewards.'

'Alert: Rhy has gained a new skill - "Smash

I leveled up five times just from that fight? I put all my points into speed and strength putting the leftover skill point into intelligence.

We wandered back into the fort. There were six more orcs. Six. SIX!!!!!!! I am so screwed. This is how I'm going to die. It's so unfair. Why can't they label their dungeons?

"Rhy I know I can't do anything But I'll do everything I can to support you." How can I back down after hearing that this is emotional manipulation damn me for being such a nice guy. I should've just left her, why didn't I leave her. I swept my sword out letting my cloak bellow out behind me. I walked towards the first Orc and dashed behind him stabbing him in the back. Then running up the green back of the orc. I stabbed my blade into the back of the monster charging up it's back and cutting it almost open But it didn't kill it. The orc was impaled by its friend trying to catch me. I jumped over to another one.

'Alert: skill activated - "lightning rush" '

I was behind two of the Orcs, their heads dropping to the ground in a spray of blood. The next attack shattered my sword again. Sacrificing my weapons was the only way I could survive. I charged forward my entire body embraced by magic. My strength overwhelmed me. I jumped into the air hovering in front of an orc.

'Alert: skill activated - "Smash" '

My hand glowed red like a gauntlet surrounding my fist as I wound ,y fist back began to resonate. I saw my Mp drain like crazy. I punched with all my might and slammed into the Orc's face, his jaw breaking from the impact and he was knocked off his feet.

'Alert: Mp 30/110'

I dropped back to the ground. There were two orcs left. I ran up to the side of one jumping up again

'Alert: skill activated - "Smash" '

Draining my Mp I charged my punch until I had nothing left and then My fist rocketed forward slamming into the orc knocking his body backwards and into the other orc. Falling down to the floor I equipped my broken sword and walked over to the pinned orc. I raised the blade to its neck and cut with all my force. Blood gushed out of the wound.

'Alert: Rhy has killed C-rank Orc'

'Alert: Rhy has advanced to level 18 and gained rewards'

'Alert: Rhy has learnt skill - "replenish" '

I turned to Chaaya and she was gasping, her jaw dropped. I can't believe I'm alive. If this is the power of the normal monsters what kinda demon is gonna be behind those doors?

"Wow you did it Rhy, although obviously it was only due to my magic, you may bow before me now." I sighed she really never changes even when I'm the one who killed all the monsters and gave her the grimoire she still finds a way to be this prideful. This girl really is unbelievable.
