Everything is going great at least

Chapter 7

[On the way to school. Yuna is still annoyed that Leo didn't have time to fix himself.]

"Leo, stop for a second. Lemme fix this," Yuna faces Leo and fixes his blown-out bangs.``" that's better."

[Leo was surprised! He was very red, like a ripe red apple that's in season.]

Leo scratched his face, "hehe, you didn't need to do that."

"You have a problem with it? I'll just mess it up if you want," Yuna said in a threatening way.

[Leo was spooked, he was surprised to see Yuna so serious all of a sudden.]

["What's this dark aura I feel surrounding her. It feels like she's gonna devour me anytime soon"]

Yuna laughs out loud and taps Leo, "I'm kidding don't worry. Why are you so pale all of a sudden? You looked like you just passed out and then came back to life for a second," she smiled at Leo but with that aura of giving a threat.

["She's certainly not lying. But she's still scary as heck. She has the aura of a bad grumpy girl right now, who's more than ready to tear me up."]

Leo gently pulls Yuna close to him, putting his arm around her, "don't worry, I can read through you even with my eyes closed."``he lets go of Yuna after saying his sentence, " and this coffee was hot so my tongue was burned that's why I looked like what I did a few moments ago."

[Yuna was really surprised and didn't expect anything like this from Leo. She just went with the flow.]

[They arrived at school, and walked to their rooms, everyone was staring at them and avoided eye contact with the two of 

them.]

Just before Leo drops Yuna to his room he said, "later, just like what you told me to."

Klau rushes beside Leo and wraps him in his arms and rubs his head saying, "everyone is talking about the two of you. I'm more than sure that the two of you are getting a lot of attention."

Leo forcibly got out of Klau's grip, "you're thinking is wrong. If you know, you know. And you are 110% sure that there's nothing between us. So, don't just trust these rumors that have been spreading," he whispered to Klau.

"I trust your words about what you just said," Klau said.

[They just went into their usual seats. Leo dropped his things, but a bit harder as usual. Klau notices something isn't right.]

"What's up? You feel a bit heavier today. Work? Or stress from Yuna? Or both?" Klau said smoothly.

Leo rubs his face constantly while saying, "stress yes, Yuna no. I didn't expect to have overtime for the next month or two. You and Yuna are the second closest to what I can call family. You guys cheer me up, not gonna lie."

"That's a good thing to hear every once in a while. What's your standing with Yuna currently, the official thing! The sauce! What's your relationship with her? It confuses me a lot too," Klau just bluntly said.

"Hmm, friends. From my perspective, but I'm pretty sure it's the same for her."

"Just friends? Not any-"

"Yes! Nothing more. Nothing less." Leo said firmly.

"Fine, whatever."

"Haha, if you don't believe me then. Just try to see it for yourself, you're with us usually. The only thing is that you always try to avoid being in contact with us, Klau. Especially if there's a lot of friction."

"In my opinion, just be honest with yourself. I can see doubt right through your eyes when you said that between the two of you. You're just friends? I dunno bro, but I see something else."

Leo chuckles, "you're overthinking it man. If there's something else, I swear you'll be the first to know," Leo smiles.

[Class started, it's boring for Leo and no thrill for Klau. Leo just looks outside the window. The teacher notices this action of Leo.]

"I have a question for the class regarding this problem," the teacher elaborated the question, ``" who wants to answer this?? Leo Kise! Looks like you are thinking very hard for the answer. Please come forward and write it on the board."

Leo stands up and goes to the front, he writes the answer and goes back to his seat, "Thank you for having me answer the question, ma'am!"

"What are you thinking of? You seem off the roof. Or rather I should say, your brain is flying away," Klau whispered.

"Nothing," Leo just shoves Klau away and continues to smile looking out the window.

[Lunch time came, Leo and Klau we're eating when someone gave Leo a letter.]

Leo reads the letter saying, "don't forget, the park, 3 am sharp. You still have work after right? So, don't be late," Leo looks around him to find Yuna.

[He didn't see Yuna at the cafeteria. He just thinks that she's finished eating. Leo went back to the classroom to read a textbook.]

[On his way back, just after turning from a corner. He bumps with someone]

Leo looks down, "oh Yuna, you are already done with lunch? I'm heading back to my room. See you later."

Yuna looks up grinning happily, "Hey! Haven't seen you since this morning, how are you?"

Leo slowly moves on the side of Yuna to pass her, "I've been alright. Later!" He walks away to the room.

["She's in a cheerful mood today as usual. Didn't expect to bump into her that way. Oh well, can't wait after school."]

[School was finished, when Leo and Klau opened the door, Yuna wasn't there again. Leo remembered that she said to go to the park.]

Leo told Klau, "I need to go ahead now, I just remembered Yuna asked for a favor."

When Leo was outside the school campus, he grabbed his phone from his pockets and called Yuna, "Yuna, meet me at the hospital. today is my test to see if I still have pneumonia. My bad, I forgot I have an appointment for this today as well."

"Sure thing, no problem, I'll be heading there right now," she hung up.

[While on the train Leo spotted a familiar-looking face at a distance. He came close to the person.]

"Oh, Jenna, what are the odds we were on the same train," he casually said.

"Hi! Didn't notice you were here. How are you? The last time we met, a lot of things were happening," Jenna replied with a surprised look.

"I'm doing decently, indeed, a lot of stuff was ongoing the last time we saw each other."

"That's great! Where are you heading to? I'm planning to go home right now. But I have time if you need company."

Leo was caught off guard by the fact Jenna is heading home but wants to accompany him if he wants, "I'm going to. The. H-, Hospital. And you can go with me, that's fine by me."

"Awesome! Why the hospital though? Do you have someone to visit?" Jenna leaned forward and curiously asked.

Leo looks at her and he says, "well, actually, it's me who has to be in the hospital. I got confined the other week. And I was diagnosed with bacterial pneumonia. I kept in touch with the hospital and constantly updated them about my situation so I wouldn't need to visit the hospital constantly," he seems worried to just be so open to Jenna.

["I'm stuck with her now. I don't want to complain, but I do wanna complain. But an extra person to be with other than Yuna always is a good change of pace every once in a while."]

[Jenna and Leo arrived at the train station. The two of them walked side by side until they got into the hospital. Shortly after, Yuna arrived.]

Yuna was not expecting to see Jenna, she puts up an attitude, "heya! Oh, hi Jenna! Weren't expecting to see you here with Leo."

["What is this girl doing here? I bet she's trying to flirt with Leo or something. I need to keep a close watch on her, She's dangerous and fierce from what I can see."]

"Hi, Yuna! Glad to see you here! Also here for a check-up?" Jenna said happily.

"No, I'm here to be with Leo as well," she said directly. 

"Great!"

[The three of them went inside. Leo and Jenna are beside each other, while Yuna is following them from behind. While Leo and Jenna are talking, Yuna is just listening to the two of them.]

"Anyways, how are you lately? You said you have pneumonia, have you been coughing badly recently? Like is there blood coming out if you do?"

"Nah, nope, that's too extreme, you're overthinking it. And I've been taking medicines lately to help me recover faster."

"That's awesome!"

[The three of them went inside the elevator, headed to the 3rd floor.]

[While on the elevator, Jenna suddenly grabs and hugs Leo's arm]

Leo was blown away but this occurrence, he didn't know if he would be angry, surprised, happy, or whatsoever. But one thing is certain for him, he turned pale white. He then said, "J-, Jenn--, Jenna, wh-, why are you holding me th-, thi-, this tight?"

"Is it bad? I'm kind of shivering, it's cold in here," Jenna just said while hugging Leo.

Yuna was also shocked by this occasion, he turned just as pale as Leo, [" what on earth is this girl doing?!??! This is absurd. I can't stand this Jenna, she's very clingy and assertive to Leo. And why does Leo feel so relaxed amidst this crisis happening right now! I'm steaming right now!"]

["I hope Yuna doesn't get the wrong idea. Her imagination tends to run wild at times like this, and that will be bad if something happens in her wild dreams"]

[They arrived at the third floor and walked toward the room.]

"The two of you should just stay here outside and wait for me," Leo stated, and he caught a glimpse of Yuna. He was afraid of what she looked like. He felt like he was digging his own grave.

[Both Yuna and Jenna just sat down on a bench, just beside a window.]

["I am definitely going to give Leo a nice beating after this. Though, I'll take it lightly so he won't at least push me away as hard as he already is right now. And I can't believe I'm stuck with this Jenna. Maaaaaaaaaan, I'll just stick with it I guess."]

"Uhm, oh, Jenna, can I ask you something? It's something about Leo," Yuna awkwardly asked and said.

"Yeah, sure! Since we are already waiting for him anyway," she said without hesitation.

"Do you like Leo? You know, like more than friends. Like friends, friends, or like him," Yuna was very honest but it was awkward for Jenna.["I don't know how to talk about this kind of thing, I feel awkward actually."]

"Yes, I do like Leo. More than just friends. Do you have a grudge about it? Feel free to say so. I'd be willing to fight for what I feel. Even if it means going head-on with you. We're strangers to each other after all," Jenna said with a straight face.

Yuna was dropped dead for a second. Then she said, "since when? I'm happy for you, at least you can say it casually just like that."

Jenna seems troubled by how Yuna is conversing with her, "are you implying that you also like him but you can't say it to him?"

"Nah, there's no way I'll fall for him. And there's no chance of mutuality anyways. So there's that," Yuna responded.
