Yeah, never thought you would regret not putting on a condom hundreds of years ago, did you?

Curious about what was happening on earth and not having a reason to stay here any longer with the crisis passed. Sirzechs spoke in a loud voice to all the devils present other than his fellow demons king. "Thank you everyone for your swift reaction, even if I was the one to erase the problem. You were the ones who made it possible to keep the damages and casualities to a minimum. Speaking of that, I want a report on both of these for tomorow. You're all dismissed."

"Yes Lucifer-sama!" With that, the head of the clans were gone to carry on whatever they were doing before a veritable cataclysmic event for their race dropped on their heads out of nowhere.

Azazel and his cadres having retreated back to Grigori in the meanwhile without a fuss. Because what they were supposed to say to each other? "See you next time my man?" Their faction were not the most friendly to each other after all.

Now the four demons king alone, they got closer to each other to talk about the recent happenings.

Serafall was the one to open the topic with a cheerfull voice and a pose. "It was a wild ride! But the day was saved again by the one and only Levia-tan!☆" Sticking out her tongue, closing her left eye and making a V with her fingers and putting it before her open eye. Therefore making a little star pop out of the void of existence before her.

Ajuka couldn't help but tease her a little, making a fake confused expression. "Huh, wasn't it Sirzechs that stopped the wave and saved the day?"

At that, Serafall just pouted. "Moooou! You're no fun Ajuka-chan! I could and would have done the same with my ice If I wasn't occupied earlier on making sure my cute little sister was okay. But I do have to admit that Sirzechs-chan power of destruction was more suited to the situation."

Sirzechs, already used to his friends antics, just replied with a chuckle. "You guys do know that I'm right there, right?"

Grayfia, who was still standing silently and impeccably behind Sirzechs, butted in.

"Sirzechs-sama is right, as your direct superior, you should show him more respect." She added calmly.

Ajuka just stared at her with a fake, shocked expression and then disapointed one. "Oh? As the ideal maid that you are, Grayfia-san, I'd tought you'd know to show more restraint and pose when speaking to your better. Even more so to even dare to reprimend them, maybe your formation was lacking after all."

Grayfia, just realizing that was Ajuka said was true, was shocked beyond belief. It seemed she need to enter close door cultivation soon to ponder on her dao of the heavenly maid.

Sirzechs just watched in awed as his childhood friend easily took care of his wife and took note of his anti-maid technique. But soon forget about them when he saw the gaze his wife sent his way. No anti-maid technique for him then.

Ajuka profited of the lapse in conversation to ask what he came there for. "About the anomaly happening on earth, what do we do about it? Do you need us to come with you?"

Sirzechs just shook his head. "Nah, I'll just take Grayfia with me. Besides, I'm the most qualified to see what it is about the power of destruction being part of the phenomena. If it prove to be true, then maybe it would mean that a member of the bael clan had an hand on the magical energy outbreak from earlier."

Then, sending a gaze to his wife who was still pondering the meaning of life, he whispered to his fellow maous. "It'll also provide me with a break from the paperwork I'll have to deal with because of this mess."

At that, both Ajuka and Serafall nodded in understanding. Paperwork was indeed a thing that everyone agreed about regardless of races, power and whether you were someone good or evil. It sucks asses.

Afterward, Falbium, who was half-sleeping and half-listening to them bickering, perked up at the word "break". "Oh, can I come too? I would do anything to have a break from all the work I do these days."

Sirzechs stared at him nonplussed. "What do you mean, from all the work I do? Aren't you the one who for every hours of sleep you have, work only 1 min? Besides, you still have to give me a report on-." Falbium has left the chat. He had teleported himself away the moment he heard about making a report.

The disturbing element now gone, Sirzechs continued on where he had left. "I'll just summarize the happenings on earth to you guys when I come back."

Ajuka and Serafall just shrugged and agreed. They just wanted to see something interesting and get some fresh air once in a while, but they could still do so latter. For now, they had to deal with the aftermath of the disaster.

With that said, they teleported away. Leaving Grayfia and Sirzechs alone in the sky of the capital.

Turning himself toward his wife, he asked. "Now, do you know of what exactly is going on onnearth?"

Grayfia thought for a moment before she replied to his query hesitantly. "Mmmh, it's hard to say. From what the devils assigned to earth reported, it looked like three different manifestation of something. It looks like the phenomenon that happen at the birth of someone with great power or potential. A little like when you flooded the entire underworld with your power of destruction at your birth Sirzechs-sama."

"Oh? If it's just the birth of a future powerhouse then what's all the big fuss about it?" Sirzechs just asked even if he thought that he knew why.

Grayfia just gave him the stink eye and answered. "The "big fuss" Sirzechs-sama is that this unknown being was seemingly born on earth for unknown reasons. That the three innate manifestations of its nature doesn't seem to have any relation to each others or are even diametrically opposed. And finally, that the entire world seem in a frenzy to its birth. The previous dangerous outbreak of magical energy being a result of it. However, this is not all, this crisis didn't only happen in the Underworld, but also in Heaven, Asgard and the other divine realms , the disturbance is reported to have even reached the Dimensional Gap. The leaders and major figures of every factions are currently observing earth from space and trying to find out the cause of this anomaly." She paused for a moment before adding. "I would advise to do the same as them to gain an overall view of the situation."

Siirzechs, who was just waiting patiently for her explanation to end, had indeed now a much better grasp of the anomaly. "Then, what are we waiting for? let's go see this "phenomena"."

Teleporting himself and Grayfia in space and above earth, he immediatly surveyed the current situation of it.

And indeed, he could instantly tell that the state of it was pretty fucking abnormal. With the north and south hemisphere covered in distinctly black and white clouds, in this order.

He could feel a weak holy power from the white clouds, something only able to hurt middle and low-class devils and an equaly weak demonic power from the black ones. More importantly, he could indeed also feel the genuine power of destruction present in the form of black and red ligntnings flashing from the night colored clouds.

Something that was all but illogical, as the manifestations were supposed to represent the innate nature of the recently born being.

And, as the age came to pass, it was proven that innate magic was all but impossible to steal from any manners but making love and making a child with a member posseding said magic from birth.

But it wasn't the end of it, if the child was made without either of the parents consent. The magic would not be passed down. A result of another defense mechanism to prevent the stealing of the bloodline.

So, a child possesing the power of destruction had to have been made with the consent of both progenitors...

*Boom!*

Seeing the combination of holy and demonic power, plus the power of destruction related to the birth of something detonated an explosion in Sirzech's mind. Bringing back to the front of his mind somewhat fond but burried memories of a time pass. Before he had even met his wife.

It all clicked together clearly in his mind. And no matter how he tried to persuade himself that it was hundreds of years ago and just a coincidence. He couldn't find another reason for why the power of destruction would be involved in the current manifestations.

It couldn't possibly have been the child of another member of the bael clan either. Because what but the child of a once super devil and an archangel could produce such a great phenomenon at the moment of its birth?

His face paled at the realization and he didn't know what expression to make at the moment. Staying stuck in place while he was lost in his thoughts.

Grayfia, who saw his unsightly expression and never having seen him behave like that, asked with a concerned voice. "Is something the matter, Sirzech-sama?"

Sirzechs, snapped out of his thoughts and answered firmly but at the same time weakly. "Yes, and we need to talk, now."

Grayfia, dumbfunded to see her habitually goofy and easy going husband so solemn and serious tried to retort. "What? But we hav-..." Not even letting her finish her words, he touched her left shoulder with his right hand and teleported both of them in his office.

Sitting on his chair and letting out a long sigh. Sirzechs recomposed himself and took some time to organize his mind. Grayfia meanwhile fidgeting nervously beside him. This sort of situation had never occured before in their long time together. Sure, they had their ups and downs since the start of their relationship, but Sirzechs was more honest and forthcoming about everything serious. Not so... grave and lost.

Finally knowing how to broach the subject, Sirzechs let out a small chuckle to erase some of the tension he had involuntary created. "You remember the time when I told you that you were not my first woman?"

Grayfia tried to remember the exact time, letting a small smile that vanished soon after to be replace by a complicated expression. "Yes, when you first told me of that, I wanted you to immediatly tell me who it was so that I could go kill her. Unt-..."

Sirzechs interrupted her again. "Until I told you that she was already dead."

Afterwards, he materialized a chair similar to his own made out of demonic power and tapped it gently indicating for Grayfia to come sit on it.

Passing from his maid to his wide and sitting on the chair confusedly, Grayfia waited for him to get to say where he was really going with this.

"What I never told you was that this woman was an angel, an archangel to be exact." With that said, he waited patiently for his words to sink in.

Meanwhile, Grayfia was thinking hard on why this information was relevent to Sirzechs current distress. It just took her to remember what he was staring at when this situation came to be for her to come to a conclusion.

Her eyes opening wide in realization, her mind became a mess of confusion and her tongue got entangled on itself. "Yo-you think?! Bu-but it was hundreds of years ago was it not!? Had you not said that it was a one time thing?! How is it even possible!?" Shutting her mouth and taking slow breaths to calm herself and think rationally about the situation, she waited for her husband to answer her previous questions.

"I don't only think so, I'm sure of it. For your other questions, the answer are yes, yes, and I seriously have no idea." Sirzechs answered the last question with a sarcastic and bitter smile. There was no doubt in his mind about the phenomena happenings on earth being due to his newborn child. But there was so much querries remaining in his mind. The main ones being how, why and where. How had his child came to be from a single encounter, it was a well know fact that the fertilization rate of the supernatural species was abysmall! How had he even survived his pregnancy with a dead mother? Why was he born only just now, hundreds of year after he should have been born? At last, where was he right now? Was he well? It was all things that would surely haunt him for the years to come.

Only now remembering his distraught wife, he took her hand in his and apologized with a sincere voice and a face full of shame. "I'm sorry, Grayfia, I know that you deeply want a child. But in the end, you will not bear my first child despites our efforts. I also hop-"

Grayfia shut him up by taking his head between her hands and tenderly making it rest it on her tights, afterwards playing with his hair. "Shut up, you idiotic man. It's not your fault if fate dealt us a hand like that. Beside, we shouldn't feel bitter about the birth of a child, a miracle not less. I do not hold any grudges towards the him either, the parent past grievances should not be transfered to their children. In fact, I'm quite happy, with you as his father, that make me his or her foster mother, something I'm not against being."

Sirzechs, surprised for a brief moment by his wife actions, smiled in relief and said sincerely in a small voice while relaxing from the care he was receiving. "A~aa~ah, you're the best, you know that?"

Grayfia gained a small blush at the compliment and just muttered. "I know."

A small moment of comfortable then settled between them before Grayfia interrupted it by asking an essential question. "What about the child?"

Perturbed by the question he had no true answer to, he simply said. "I don't know, I can try to track him through a blood ritual and if it doesn't work. Then it will be up to fate whether we ever met him or not." He sadly added.

Wanting to recomfort him, Grayfia reprimended him and added hopefully. "Don't say that, I'm sure we'll meet him one day. I'm certain of it."

Then, the comfortable silence came back and did not get interrupted again.
