Chapter 9

Alice POV

I woke up to a very disturbing headache and I felt my temperature was a bit off today but I didn't want to worry anyone

I recalled what happened the previous night making me turn red and I turned to see that where Zander slept was actually empty and cold so I thought he must have left early to prepare for school so with that thought in mind I struggled to get out of bed and into the shower

After my normal routine which you guys know of I looked at myself in the mirror to see that I looked pale

I went downstairs to see my breakfast ready and Mrs Mary our housekeeper

[if that is not her name I apologize but I can't really go back to the beginning]

"Good morning ma'am "

"Morning dear how are you today"she looked at me with concern

"I'm good I just have a slight headache that's all nothing serious am fine really"

She did not seem convinced but she did not want to pressure me

"Your brother had a meeting very early this morning so he decided to leave"I was about to ask her about Maddie when she interrupted me

"Maddie also left with him for school and you don't have to worry about picking her up I'll do it....Alice dear are you sure you are good you look kind of pale"

"I'm fine ma" after eating my breakfast I decided to head out to school and not really in the mood for driving I decided on walking

The walk to school wasn't really far only 20 minutes walk and I made it to school but I was at the verge of passing out due to the fact I was seeing black dots surrounding my vision once in a while

I was guessing everyone was already in class when I got to school cause the hallways were empty and I was making my way towards my class when everything started spinning

I was about falling but I held onto the wall that was near by for balance I started walking again and this time it was ten times worst I couldn't make out where I was going and all of a sudden I heard someone call my name but I was already submitting to darkness

Daisy's POV

It has been 20 minutes in class and I haven't seen Alice my best friend and I became worried

I tried calling her number but she wasn't picking up so I did the only thing possible to search for her

I left the class and was searching the whole school and I came to the hallway leading to one of our class and I saw Alice leaning towards the wall

I decided to walk towards her but I saw her walking away towards one of our classes which resulted in her turning her back to me

After a few seconds I saw Alice falling unconscious which got me really concerned "Alice!!!!!"

I screamed her name in hopes she would come back but she did not I decided to call Xander which was also close by and we took her to the nurses office

Few minutes after she was there the nurse came back out with a concerned look on her face and said "you should immediately take her to the hospital she needs serious attention"

I called her brother immediately and by the way he sounded he was so worried

Few minutes after the call he was in school "where is she"

"She's in there Jason but we really need to take her to the hospital"

He carried her bridal style and began running towards his car and was driving like a mad man we crossed a few red lights which I think is very dangerous to do

We got her to the hospital and we were waiting for the doctors to come out with informations and what I mean by we are Xander,Jason and i

When the doctors came out "miss Parker"

Jason stood up and we followed suite "miss Parker had an overdose of sleeping pills and if you had not rushed her here she would have been a goner but she is fine and out of trouble for now...you can see her when she wakes up"

I was relieved to hear she was ok and out of trouble so I called Zander to let him know that Alice was in the hospital and I was shocked to hear what he had to say "Alice is none of my business so I don't really care"

I got angry and started ranting into the phone but he hung up on me and I was furious deciding not to let that bother me in any way cause he wasn't worth it and after 5minutes we heard Alice was awake so we decided to let Jason go first after all he is her brother

Alice POV

I woke up with a bright white light blinding my vision and when my eyes got adjusted to the light I looked around and found out I was in the hospital

The only memory I recalled was that of when I was in school and I passed out afterwards

A few seconds past and I saw Jason in the room

"Hey kiddo how are you?"

"Hi jay to be honest I feel like I have been hit by a bus"

"Hey!!there's not need for the nasty ass comment Ali"

"So the doctor told you what was wrong huh"

He looked at me with the feeling of concerned mixed with anger

"Yea he did and he also told me you took overdose of a sleeping pill Ali...and who even gave you the pill for God's sake I was worried sick about you"he snapped

"I needed those pills jay I couldn't sleep without those nightmares attacking me...I thought that if I took two of them I may sleep comfortably but I guess I was wrong...I still had the nightmare until Zander came and made it go away"

"I'm so sorry for the nightmares Ali and I'm also sorry for snapping at you that way I was just worried sick I thought something was going to happen to you...you know I can't lose you"

"I know and I'm sorry for making you worried...I really am and you don't need to cry big guy am fine"

"Your friends are also waiting outside and I really need to get back to work I'll see you at home right"

At the mention of my friends I thought about Zander and I was feeling excited to meet him

After he left I heard a knock on the door and I told the person to come in

It was Xander and Daisy which i was a bit disappointed in not seeing Zander but I masked it with a smile

"Hey guys"

"Hey Ali"the both responded immediately

"I was so worried about you when you were not in class I made my way to look for you only to find out you passed out on the floor I was worried sick Ali I felt like a worst best friend "daisy finished her rant with her eyes filled with tears

"It's fine bitch am good and ready to punch some ass out you know"

"Yea I can see that"Xander said while chuckling

"Uhm so...did Zander hear I was here or maybe he came and left?

I felt daisy stiffen and she looked at Xander and he immediately got the signal and left us alone

"Uhm..Ali I actually called him but he said he wasn't going to come because....Uhm you weren't his business "she whispered the last two words and it felt like I just got stabbed in the heart so I decided to change the subject by coughing

"Uhm...so you and Xander huh"I wiggled my eyebrows at her and waited or her explanation and she turned red by the mention of that

She told me everything how she definitely like Xander but she isn't sure if he likes her back in which I told her that there's still time,he may love her but he is shy about telling her

Xander came back into the room and we started talking till it was time for us to go home I was really happy with the friends I have the are really the best but I still felt lonely and empty and that was then I realized that I liked Zander

Daisy ordered an Uber for me to go home which I was thankful for and when I got home it was kind of empty cause it was still early so I decided to head to my room and take a nap for a few hours and immediately my had hit the pillow I was out like a light

Hey guys another update...I know you guys did not expect daisy POV but 😂

Zander sounds like a really bad person in this chapter
