Life is meant to tear you down and build you up.



That is what I firmly believe with all of my soul. Same for the people in life that you meet, or don’t meet but still have an affect on you.



Now, thinking of all that, Karma would be about as good an explanation for random events that happen for seemingly no reason. Such an example, getting kidnapped by your government, experimented on, trained in black operations, given a team that was the closest thing to family you had…then being betrayed.



…all because you fell in love with a women that shone through your darkest corners like a blinding star in the night sky.



In the end you couldn’t even exact revenge on the betrayal, because a glowing magic circle with a language you couldn’t make heads or tails of, appeared at your feet right after you stopped a nuclear war from starting.



The good news, she is very much alive because you made sure of it, the bad news…well let’s just say Gods are fickle creatures and extremely lazy assholes that think they own everything.
