“It’s time to go before you get too sleepy to travel. If you get frightened, or just need to talk, here is a cell phone with my number preprogrammed into it. It’s a burner phone, but it will do until we get you a new one or recover yours.” Sean handed him the phone. Armand raised an eyebrow. “What? I had Pierre go get it while he was waiting for us.”
“Good thinking, baby.”
“Occasionally I have an idea or two.” Sean smirked.
“Occasionally…” Armand smiled. Kane noticed that when Sean spoke to Armand his voice got soft, and the reverse was also true. They really love each other and Mr. La Marche runs a corporation that employs gay men in the highest positions. I might not have moved from Indiana for nothing. I may yet find friends here. 2
