“Go to see Dr. Coté. He’ll help. So will Sean. He has a knack for getting everyone exactly what they need.”
“I think you’re all having pipe dreams. Gabriel feels sorry for me and responsible because he found me. That’s all it is.”
“You’ll see, when he’s ready, he’ll tell you. Just don’t run away now that you’re here. It would break his heart.”
“You know there is something funny and I don’t know who else to tell.”
“What? You can tell us anything.”
“It’s Gabriel. Whenever he’s around I see a golden string, well it started out as a thread as thin as a hair, but it’s now the size of sturdy cotton sewing thread.” Kane heard the whir of the elevator. “That must be Gabriel. I didn’t realize it was that late.”
Sean muttered, “Saved by the bell. Oops, that’s our cue to leave. When you can sit again, you have to come over to our houses. We rotate lunch on either on Wednesdays or Fridays depending on everyone’s schedule.” Sean looked up to see Gabriel standing by the sofa.
