Except for me. Openly gay, overly sensitive, cries-too-much-for-his-own-good Theodore Mower, with mannerisms that are too swishy, a voice that’s too soft, and a giggle that’s too loud and bubbly. I’m only tolerated by Mr. and Mrs. O’Riordan because Seamus and I have been best friends since we were kids, and by the time people realized I wasn’t going to outgrow the swish, it was too late to do anything about our friendship.
