“Then how do you know that you wouldn’t like them?” Lynn glanced down at the child who had crossed her arms in defiance. “Because, they’re nasty,” she said. Her lower lip jutted out and she shook her head. “Raisins, eww!”

Lynn burst into laughter as they rounded the corner, collecting the items for the evening’s meal. She couldn’t remember the last time she’d felt quite so happy and she kind of liked Calista’s infectious personality.“You should give them a try. Who knows, you might decide they’re better than Oreo’s.”

“No! Oreo’s are the best! They’re chocolate.” Calista hurried to the shelf and picked up a box of macaroni and cheese shells. “I like this kind the best.”
