A thought occurred to me, and I said, “Is this the first time you guys have flown?”

“You bet,” Joe said. “Does it show that much?”

“Only to those of us who know you intimately.”

We were airborne soon enough, and John and Joe were so fascinated with the view from their windows that they more or less ignored the rest of us.
