“During a typical autopsy, don’t they usually weigh and measure everything?” I said.

“Yeah,” Janet said. “I’ll go back through the reports and see what I can find. The autopsies won’t be helpful in some cases—if you remember, some of the victims were missing body parts.”

“It might not be conclusive in any case,” I said. “As you may know, the Masters and Johnson study proved that erections are a great equalizer. Still, if the deceased all appeared to be somewhat better endowed than average, it’s one more factor to strengthen our theory.”

“Right,” Janet said, “and we know from that DVD that our boy Leonard is, as our witness said, ‘hung like a horse’.”

“I also asked Lieutenant Sanchez to check the crime databases for reports of missing young men who fit the profile,” I said. “It’s entirely possible that we may just be seeing the tip of the iceberg here.”

“What are we going to do about the porn company?” Gregg said.
