Chapter 62

I opened my e-mail account and read the only new message. “Janet sends you her best on behalf of herself and the team,” I said.

“Back at her.”

“Okay.”

I finished what I was doing and said, “Want me to shut it down?”

“Sure.”

We finished our lunch, and once in the car, I said, “What do you want to do now?”

“You.”

“As soon as we get back to the room, babe.”

“Well, hurry up… but don’t speed.”

In the room, I opened the glass door to allow the stream sounds to better be heard, and after I helped Mike out of his shirt and sling, we stretched out on the bed. After a while, we cleaned ourselves up, dressed, and went out on the balcony to relax in the lounge chairs. We talked for a while and dozed off. Once again, I awoke to the sound of doors slamming, so I got up and went to the bathroom. Back on the balcony, Mike was beginning to stir, so I woke him up. We went into the room and crawled in bed for a while, after which we headed for the shower.
