Chapter 26

“You claim a chair by dropping your robe and towel on it,” Trevor said. “Beverage service is available, but only around the pool—drinking in the pool is not permitted.”

He slipped out of his robe and shoes, tossed the robe and his towel onto a nearby lounge chair, and headed toward the pool. We followed suit. The pool was fair sized—perhaps twenty feet wide by at least forty feet long—and was already occupied by a dozen people of both sexes. There were built-in tile benches around the perimeter. When you sat on them, you were submerged to various levels, depending upon body height. The water came up to our necks, but Trevor’s nipples showed just above the surface when he sat down.

“As you walk toward the center of the pool, it gets much deeper,” he said.

“God, this feels good,” Dani said.

“Yeah,” I said.
