Chapter 27

“Since you know how things are organized around here, certainly,” I said. “Perhaps we could have breakfast delivered to our suite tomorrow, and the four of us could make some plans while we eat.”

“I’ll be there at eight,” Father said.

“So will I,” Trevor said. “Now, let’s get dressed and have some lunch.”

After we were dressed, we went to the elevator. Father got off on the ground floor, and we continued up to our floor.

“Instead of dining in a restaurant,” Trevor said, “do you mind if we return to your suite and order? That way we can talk privately.”

“Sure,” I said.

When we were settled in our sitting room, Trevor retrieved the information book and passed it around.

“The room service menu is changed every two weeks or so,” he said.

We made our choices, and he picked up the telephone to place our orders. When he hung up, he said, “We have twenty minutes, which will give me time to explain some things to you.”

“What things?” I said.
