I cringed at that. I hadn’t really even had the chance to think about it. Was Booth making his way into my heart?

The question made my chest ache, and my heart beat faster. I was pretty sure the answer was yes.

Just great. Something else for me to worry about.

“So I guess that means you are going to be spending this lovely sunny day with lover boy?” Keeya wiggled her eyebrow at me.

I opened my mouth quickly to say no and then shut it again, remembering that I had promised I would meet Booth at the river at twelve.

“I guess so.” I shrugged instead.

“What are the rest of us doing then?” Keeya asked, looking from Luci to Zoe and back again.

“Actually, I was thinking I might go to the library.” Zoe shrugged, and her face began to blush bright red as though she already knew what was coming.

“Are you kidding me? You want to spend a lovely, sunny Sunday in some fusty old library?” Keeya gaped at her as though she couldn’t imagine anything more boring.
