Chapter 23

“I am not drinking your nasty ass beer,” Olivia retorted but her gaze was intimate, and Lewis laughed as though there was some kind of a private joke between them.

I was still too in shock from what had happened to protest, and so I allowed her to drag me between the guys and over to a table that was set up against the wall of the gym.

It was lit by more fairy lights that twinkled as we stepped up and Olivia began to rummage through the bottles on the table top until she found what she was looking for.

“Ahh! Here we go!” She yanked a clear bottle with a white label from the middle of the jumble of bottles and grabbed a couple of plastic cups.

“Here.” She handed me one of the cups, now filled with clear liquid, and when I sniffed up I could smell what I thought was coconut.

Lifting the cup closer to my nose, I breathed in the scent again. Yeah, coconut.

“What is it?”

Olivia smirked at me as though she thought I was sweet and innocent for having no clue what she’d handed me.
