“We have lift-off,” Duff said, coming back into the office.


“Willard was actually doing some surveying of an area not too far from the lodge, for a client who’s planning on building a resort. So he had a drone there and ready to go. He says there were lights on in several rooms, upstairs and down.”


“Any way to tell if Nicky is there?” Ian asked.


Duff shook his head. “The drapes were drawn, according to Willard.”


“He has to be. Otherwise why would Steve be there?”


“Could he have lent the lodge out to a friend?” Rob asked.
